I am passionate about my faith and am working to educate myself on how I can maintain a higher awareness of Christ's place in my life. I am most influenced by the authors that I've read, by close friends and by the students that I've taught over the years. In my leisure time I like to exercise, cook, catch up with friends and work on home improvement projects.

My family and friends are important to me, so I try to spend a lot of time with them, especially my nieces and nephews. I'm easygoing, I can be rather shy, once I'm more comfortable, I joke around a lot. I enjoy helping people and I'm always interested in learning new things, although my job keeps me very busy. I don't mind just hanging out around the house and having a movie night, try a new recipe or even playing board games. My faith is an important part of my life and something that was missing from my past relationships, so I have decided to try this site.

I just moved back to Illinois after more than a decade in Virginia! I'm excited to be back. I'm a big fan of reality. I've been told I'm a good listener. I'm analytical and try to be practical whenever it's appropriate, which I used to think was always. I try to be open to whatever God sends my way, whether good, bad or ugly. I value honesty very highly. I used to work at Starbucks and knew more than a hundred customers' names and/or drinks. That was fun. I used to work in a physics lab in a basement where I might not have human contact all day. That was fun. For years now I've worked 80-100 hours a week, so I'm a hard worker. I haven't had an easy life, but who has? Jesus said a lot of things, but He never claimed the Way of the Cross was convenient. :) I've learned a lot of things about the faith and the world lately, and the more I know about how God and the world work, the more I can deal with my own problems. The better I get, the more I can help other people. Then they can help me more! It's a beautiful cycle. As for general bio info: *I'm 25, no health issues *currently run my company selling children's toys with my older brother. That's fun (and profitable) *and I'm sitting on a mostly unused double major in physics and math from George Mason University. I believe an article I helped with is going to be printed soon in a physics journal you've never heard of. :) Send me a message! I think most of us are here for the same reason, so there's no reason to be shy!

If you think the movie Blazing Saddles is funny, you're already doing well here... :) Turns out, life does give you second chances! I'd love what we all would, my "person." I'm a mother, writer, teacher.... while I can and do take care of my little family on my own for past five years, I'm woman enough to say that I do need a man. :)

I'm retired and stay busy with family and friends. My time was consumed with my grandson, but he's getting older now (12) and more into his video games. This leaves me more free time for me! I love to cook. I do that for myself, but would love to have someone to cook with and for. I do like to go out and eat as well, but again, it's good to do it with someone. I also paint, not art, but walls. I love decorating, though only in my own style. This year I went on my first European vacation. Actually it was a pilgrimage to Barcelona, Lourdes, Burgos and Fatima. Hoping to get to Italy/Rome very soon. I travel to Texas regularly to visit friends. Up until 2 1/2 years ago, I lived there for 17 years. After my spouse of 40 years passed away, I decided to move back to Chicago and the old neighborhood near family and friends. I tell everyone it was because I missed the cold and sub-zero days! I also try to travel to Mexico as often as possible, as I did a lot of that in my past life. I love the people, culture and of course the food. Retired in 2009 after 30+ years with the federal government. If we meet, I can fill you in on those details. Don't worry, it wasn't top secret, so you'll be fine with what info I share. I do like to joke a bit and love to laugh. It's what keeps me grounded and happy most of the time. I'm a baby-boomer soon to add another decade, if I haven't already when you read this. Relatively healthy, though the bones creak a bit more than in the past, but a few Alleve take care of that. God lead me to the site, so let's see what He might have in store for me and you. Good luck to you, and me too.

I am an extroverted introvert that loves getting to know all different kinds of people. I'm passionate about psychology and learning about human behavior. I look forward to traveling different places in the world this year. In my spare time I spend time with family and friends, paint/craft, and watch Netflix, and read. I am a very easy-going and agreeable person who loves to joke around.

Life and love seems to be the highest value. Meeting right people in right time and place - is luck. ability to recognize them - is more then luck. I hope I will get there at some point and I will not be blind. Meeting a soulmate must be a grate thing (never happened to me when it comes to opposite sex ). Meeting a person from another pole is more of a challenge. Ever or may work great as long as there is chemistry in between. Honesty and ability to trust are fundamental. John Paul the second was a great propagator of those values. He was great traveler too. It is sad, that the word shrinks for those who love to travel, but I hope to continue to discover the word. I would love to get back on the trail in Peru again, I would love to be in Venice in Doge's Palace during the carnival or to be a part of culinary trip. Active life stile is definitely my preference. To be in cold climate - not much of my thing unless skiing. I enjoy theater, opera, healthy food,I love to dance. I wish I could spend more time with my wonderful son.
