Hi, my name is Mary and I am a striving but imperfect follower of Our Lord. I am blessed with a strong, supportive family, a home, a career and good health. I am open to whatever vocation God sends me and would love to meet a friend, or more, who would walk with me along life's journey.

I wear many hats. For one thing, I like wearing hats. For another, I also do a lot of stuff. I'm an organist and singer at a few parishes in the area -- that's my real passion, and it makes me happy. I write marketing copy -- that's what pays the mortgage (I bought a house three years ago). I'm a fake uncle (to my friends' three kids) and a real uncle (to my sister and brother-in-law's beautiful baby boy, who is objectively the best baby ever). You better bet I went crazy when the Cubs won the World Series! And I love the Blackhawks as well. (The Bears are OK, if they were better.) I love bicycling, singing, and taking walks through the neighborhood, and I'm always up for a good game of poker or Scrabble. What I'd love to do one day: * Become a full-time church musician * Appear on "Jeopardy!" * Take a nice, long road trip out west * And, of course, get married and have kids It's a quiet life, but it's a good one. And I'd love to have someone join me in it.

I find it a little uncomfortable to talk about myself. However, I have been widowed for over 5 years , and i'm looking for some companionship. I have three sons who are very important me. My oldest son recently got married. I work as a field tech for electrical power substations. The work keeps me busy with some travel involved. I enjoy watching sports and the news. My favorite activity is cycling either on bike paths or staionary bike. I like to read general interst magazines like Time or Newsweek. Other than that trying to keep the house up fills my time.

This is always the hardest part of these things. I never know what to say about myself. I have worked in Early Childhood education for over 10 years now, and I love it. I have been a Catholic my whole life. In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and friends. I have realized over the last few years just how important spending time with family can be. Want to know about me, just ask.

Hello beautiful! There are so many great looking ladies here on CM, and you're one of them! I just wanted to let you know. Sometimes I'm in the chat room -- look for me there! Also look for me at Catholic activities in the western suburbs. And, I don't mind if you message me first! So about me. I'm a very kind, caring, and generous person with great listening skills and witty humor. I'm generally reserved, so sometimes it is hard to come out of my shell -- I usually like to meet people first in a social situation. I try to find some Catholic social groups in the area (Theology on Tap, Spirit and Truth, and some other church affiliated groups). However, once I get to know you, my sarcastic side can really pop out and get people rolling on the ground - depending on how easily amused you can be. I was generally a social outcast during my formative years, to which I decided to "tune out". I don't follow societal trends/TV/Movies/reality shows. I do follow politics, as many policy decisions have a bearing on my life and the life we are supposed to live as good Catholics. BTW, I somehow found "Ron Paul" listed as a "Reading" subject. I don't follow Ron Paul or his literature, but I thought the fact that the entry exists on CM was amusing enough to include on the profile.

I'm a convert to Catholicism, and my faith is important to me. My experiences as a Catholic over the last 10 years have had a huge impact on my character, and it's been interesting and challenging for sure. My career as an electrical engineer in manufacturing is important to me as well. Family is number one as I am close to my parents and brother. I always strive to be a better person, learning and growing along the way.

I am passionate about my family, faith and becoming the best version of myself and helping others to get there too! I look forward to making good friends, meeting others and sharing life moments and faith. I have been influenced by my Catholic up-bringing and passion for growing in my faith, life application teaching and loving others. The Bible, Jesus Christ, my family and friends, Mathew Kelly, Pope Francis, Andy Stanley, some of the Relevant Radio speakers have been influential in my life and more. I am naturally attracted to people who are passionate about what they do and are not afraid to embrace change. I am a foodie and eat healthy. I enjoy working out, gardening, cooking, cycling, good movies, preparing a feast and a glass of wine while hanging out with friends, love dogs, music and getting to know others.

Faith is one of the most important things in my life, as I am a high school theology teacher. I absolutely love my career, as I am blessed every day with the opportunity to get to know some really awesome individuals, discuss faith, and hopefully inspire/support others. It was never originally what I imagined doing, but I truly believe it is where God led me in my life. My love for faith and teaching may only be rivaled by my love for baseball (as I also coach HS baseball). Most of my leisure time is often, in some way, dedicated to these things (and keeping my crazy dog occupied). Other than that, let's see...I am a picky eater. I love country music. I once won a rocker/paper/scissors tournament - just in case you're ever in need of someone for that. And I'm pretty sure I make some great guacamole. Oh, and proper use of there/their/they're is basically a deal breaker... ;) If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to reach out!
