I enjoy everyday helping people and leading people, basically talking to them (people, friends ) about problems in their life and giving them positive thoughts to think about. My Father and my battle with cancer 21 years ago in which brought me back to my faith where i was approached by an Angel while taking Chemo treatments at Barnes Hospital . I enjoy traveling , love to fly actually attended college 27 years ago, in which i ceased flying while going through cancer treatments. But enjoy life and enjoy just about every thing i do.I a very very involved in my church and faith as of Saturday November i was certified a Presider to hold a Sunday celebration in the absence of a priest . I still have a lot work to do.

Hello! I'm Michael (or Mike, no preference) and I'm a student at SIU studying nursing. I am a practicing Catholic and a reader at my local parish. I consider myself a creative, active out-doorsy type and I love to shoot, hike, camp, kayak, and go bird-watching. I love history, especially anything written by Barbara Tuchmann. In addition to this I am an absolute nerd; anything from Dungeons and Dragons to LARPing, I've tried (and grown to love). I have some theater experience (I am by no means a good actor, but I enjoy it) and I've dabbled a bit in film as well. I grew up on a small hobby-farm. Currently my family raises goats as a hobby, so I like to be around animals, especially dogs. I couldn't stand living in a city (I would wilt and surely perish) and find myself most at home in rural settings. I love trying new things and am adventurous, especially with foreign food. I absolutely love craft beer. I drink pretty regularly. **Also, please think nothing of it if I fail to respond to messages or activity. It doesn't mean I won't respond in time. Work and other responsibilities do tend to hinder my ability to respond thoughtfully to everything here.**

Hello, fellow internet travelers. Allow me to tell you about myself. I am a young man whose seen a lot in life both good and bad. I can honestly say I am a very loyal person, and filled with asiduity to a very excessive point. In other words I tend to try to stick to things. My morals are not easily swayed and though I've had my boat rocked and my values tested I've held on. I am mostly an introvert though when I'm with kids or old people I am in the zone. I love the old Latin rite though I try to go daily to ordinary form. I love anything irish and the bagpipes, and though I feel strongly called to marriage I always try to do what God wants. The outdoors history and chivalry are among my favorite topics, but be careful because I can go on for hours about them. I do tend to sing and whistle randomly and a lot. Though I have to tend have to trust you before I will jolt out a tune. It won't always be in english as german songs I have found are quite catchy.I've always believed a man should be a protector provider and a leader and I've tried to live up to this all my life. My formative years were in upstate NY where I had some of the best and craziest friends in the world. Above all my qualities I have a deep compassion for my fellow man. In my spare time I read write watch movies and play some video games go on walks sit by campfires bug my little sister attend adoration look at stars and pray . Overall I'm a pretty average fellow. I can do several accents and I will actually slip into them during different moods. No I do not have multiple personalities it just happens. I work full-time been to Italy Mexico and Canada I really want to see Austria and Ireland. I always wanted a large family and I want Christ as my family's center. I do have a few favorite books and movies. Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia, (books and movies), Redwall series, especially Rakkety Tam, (accents are the bomb and Redwall has many) GK Chesterton's writings, Jason Everett books, For Greater Glory, and One Man's Hero, Geranimo, Burry My Heart at Wounded Knee, Braveheart, just a few of many. Batman is probably my favorite superhero cause he's actually just an extremely skilled human. That's besides the point. Done a lot I different sports, from baseball to paintball, football to martial arts, archery to horse back riding, I've played a wide variety. It's a long read but I hope it was entertaining.

I am a Catholic mom with a wonderful 17 yr old daughter who I have raised myself, with God's grace, since birth. I love Jesus Christ and He is very important in my life. I love people of all ages. I am happy and comfortable in most social situations. My family is very important to me. I like to camp, swim, canoe, bowl, putt-putt, traveling, going to see state parks and National Parks, billards(I have fun trying), darts(it's fun), bingo, garage sales, crafts, scrapbooking, beaches,Cardinal baseball, gambling(penny slots-can't win much but it's fun anyway), and many more interests.I am looking for a best friend who I can fall in love with. He will be loyal, honest, genuine, loving, funny, great personality, family orientated, and will love Attend Mass and have a relationship with Christ. I believe I too have these qualities plus, I love to have fun. I am very loyal and fun-loving. I hope to hear from you soon...and if I am not your type good luck fishing and thanks for stopping by. If you think we might have chemistry, please write me-I am patiently awaiting your "Hello",but PLEASE give me something to "bite on" in the note and not just a "HI" or a "How are you" with nothing to follow. I am looking forward to finding my best friend and hopefully more,.....(not looking for a friend with benefits,...sorry,....but if you are, it's your lucky day because there are plenty of woman on here who are looking just for that.). I repeated this because it is very important to bait your hook,.....! lol Here's a funny reply that I never thought of. After reading my headline,"Looking for my husband and best friend,...", I got a comment, wondering if my husband ran off with my best friend. Well, the answer is "no"! I never thought of it like that. I have never been married. My best friend would never even date a guy a have dated. She is a true friend and I am blessed to have her in my life. I am looking forward to the future and enjoying the now! I believe I am only as good as my last good deed. PS I believe that one must become friends, first, and that if it's meant to be God will make it all work out. I want to be in love even after the "honeymoon" phase of a relationship is over. I want to have a strong connection even after my brown hair turns gray. I want to be "in love" for all the right reasons. (Therefore, I usually don't kiss on the first date because I enjoy sharing that special attention with someone I cherish.) God bless, and enjoy this gorgeous day!

Blessings to all who visit my page! My prayer for each of you is that you find the one God has created especially for you and that you may love her purely and sincerely. In a world where appearance, money and social status take front seat, I pray that you find the strength to date the way God intended. All praise to God our Father for loving us so much that He willed us to love another.

I am passionate about Christ and tuna salad. Obviously Christ comes before tuna, but it's just so yummy. I find the work of Father David Allen Grier inspiring. How his work with large families, and his ability to bring laughter and joy with Canadian refugees is brilliant I enjoy a good mass, and seeing reruns of Golden Girls. I really miss the Pax channel. I also enjoy making broth.

Greetings! I am most passionate about my Catholic Faith. I am born and raised Catholic, but my Faith is my own because I have chosen it for myself. My main goal is to hopefully get to Heaven one day. Other than that, I take each day at a time, enjoying the beautiful weather of all the seasons. In my leisure time I like to pray, go to Mass, listen to music, sing, read, write poetry, bake/cook, spoil my nieces and nephews, spend time outdoors, and go for long walks to contemplate and clear my head. I am a serious, but funny person once one gets to know me. I love to laugh and smile. And I especially love when others smile and laugh. Also, I enjoy engaging in deep discussions about God, the Catholic Faith, the military (I am an AF brat :D ), politics, and any other topic I or the company around me find important. I firmly believe in all of the Church's teachings and strive to live them out to the fullest in my daily life. For now I shall finish on the note that I am a flawed person, who simply wants to live a holy life for God and I desire to spread His love wherever I go. I hope you have a most blessed day!
