I enjoy the woods, flowers, trees, plants, animals. I like walking, gardening, cooking, reading, watching educational programming, Catholic programming, Eternal Word Television Network. I believe that in order to know the Catholic Church , one has to study the history, saints, heresies, popes, dogmas, doctrines, movements, events, and so forth. What a rich legacy the Catholic Church has that no other religion in the world has! I like soft music, many sorts of music but not the loud jazzy, rock type. I like peaceful and quiet things not wild and rowdy events. Even in sports, football is not my favorite; something more like tennis or golf or basketball, cards, something of this nature. Dogs and pets are pleasant. I like history, math, science, biology, and so forth. I like things organized and neat.

I am a normal person looking for a good friend. Possibly this friendship can grow into something very special. I would like to share my life with that special person and hopefully this sharing will increase as our friendship increases. I would like to meet someone who is nice, kind and honest.

I believe each day is a Gift from God. The true joy of life is the trip. We need to relish the moment. Life is so very precious People get caught up in the burdens of the day and regrets over yesterday. This is the day which the Lord Hath made We will Rejoice and be glad in it.

I'm an old fashioned guy, with old school values, and am looking for the same in a woman. I want a lady that I can love, respect, and care for. I'm not a game player, and I don't want one, either; I don't see the point in it I'm loyal, honest, responsible, dependable and loving I'm just a normal, regular guy, who is looking for a nice woman to spend some time with, and enjoy life with. I would like to meet a woman near my age, as I'm not really interested in much younger women. If you think you would be interested in getting together, give me a try

I am a proud mother of four children and grandmother of three. Of course, we have our ups and downs, but we always smooth things over and carry on. We are very devoted to our family. I am also a seventh grade English teacher who plans to retire in three years. I love teaching, and I love my students; teaching is a vocation to me, and has kept me sane when I needed my sanity(: My passion is travelling; I will go at the drop of a hat! My daughter and her husband live in Germany, so I fly there as often as possible. From Germany, it us easy to travel to Italy, Spain, France, etc. I have been divorced and marriage has been annulled for eight years. I get along fine on my own, but I realize that I miss companionship and love.

Hi, I have been a widow for 4 1/2 years. It has been one of the most difficult things that I have ever experienced. I was married for 39 years to my high school sweetheart. I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer. He fought this disease for 6 years and on December 28 he lost the fight. I work full time in our local school district and plan to retire the end of this coming school year. Currently my two granddaughters and my son live with me. It has helped to be able to focus on them however, I would like to be able to have someone to be able to talk to, someone who has gone through what I have and can relate to the pain and grief. I would like to meet someone who is understanding of my situation concerning my granddaughters. They are a big part of my life and they mean the world to me. I enjoy going to the show and eating out, going to flea markets, antique shops. My life is a simple one and family is important. I would like to start with one line conversations first to see how things go and take it from there. I also attend church on Sunday day mornings.

I'm a "failed retiree", I've tried but can't, I miss interaction with career as a banker connected me with influential people and let me travel the country...I love my kids and grandkids and enjoy every minute with them, but my measure of success as a parent was them growing to be strong, independent men, and I completed that task successfully. The experience most influential in my life was 10 years as a lobbyist for the American Bankers Association, travel to D.C. and interaction with this nations leaders profoundly impacted my view of politics and our leadership. I run a not-for-profit business incubator and am involved in mentoring new small businesses.

Hi there! I am a 69 yr.old widow of five yrs.. I am not what I would call a great Catholic but I talk to God all day long. Just about as much as I talk to myself lol, and I go to church weekly and Holy days when I remember!! I am a mother of two and grandmother of seven with one on her way. I was married for 38 yr's before he passed of COPD.. Of course family is first for me and there's always room for one more! Art has been a passion since crayons were invented. I think I was there that day. I have a garden of flowers, fish ponds, fountains and waterfalls, all of witch I did myself. In the morning coffee or tea and watching the little critters and in the evening a cold drink, light the torches, turn on the music and chill. Swing dancing or any dancing is also up there on my fun list. Fishing I could do all day. Sis has a place in the Ozarks and some real sweet spots only we know. Crappy, bass and blue cat are the bomb, yum! I used to ride motorcycles but since I had a stroke in 2011 I can no longer shift with my left foot and I do still have a bit of a limp but oh If I could only afford a trike this girl would be outta here lol. I haven't painted bikes for a while but planning to get back to it soon. I love the outdoors and recently bought a new Stihl chainsaw ( they make them now so women can start them) to clear out a small field next to the house (my own little park) someday! I can get lost in all my little hobbies. I own my own home and my car will be paid off next July. I am not needy and owe no one. I'm looking for someone with similar likes and someone who want's to have fun and travel on the up and up of course. I usually travel alone and I do meet a lot of great people but it would be fun to point to something interesting and say "hey, look at that" lol. I went on my first cruise last year and swam with the dolphins, saw the Mayan ruins, watched the locals swim in a huge sinkhole and spent a few days walking around New Orleans. The next thing on the bucket list is to visit as many National parks as possible. Short road trips are great as well and as many cruises as possible lol. I'm not sure of remarrying at this time but hey good things can happen. I will be posting new pic's soon, as I have cut my hair and do look a bit different. Hope I didn't bore you and thanks for stopping by!! Marcia
