I like hanging out with friends. I really love having family and friends over, entertaining at home. Friends say I have the gift of hospitality and making people feel at ease. I sure hope so. I can be shy at first, so don't give up.

Hi, I'm Lissie, and I'm not very good at these introductions. Here are a few facts about me: I graduated from Marquette University with degrees in psychology and communication. I've been told that I'm one of the happiest people alive, probably because I believe that there are three things that make life more enjoyable: laughter, music, and hugs. One of my goals for the upcoming year is to literally count my blessings. There's a jar on my dresser that will be full of slips of paper, recalling good things that happen to me day by day or things that I am thankful for, and I will read them all at the end of next year. I believe that it's the little things that count, especially when what may seem like a large problem at the time is just a small distraction from what life truly is: beautiful. "The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page." -St Augustine.

My parents were the most influential persons in my life. My mother a very loving person and devout catholic who had initially attended Rosary College. During that time period she met my father and married. My father, ironically, was never baptized nor became catholic during his life, however, very much supported our catholic religion and attended church with his family. I am a middle child...I have an "Irish Twin" sister. I am Swedish and Irish (verified via ancestry.com ;-).) I have never married nor have any children. I do not believe in living together before marriage, though the offer existed and was tempting, but I am proud of my strong morals and always maintained it at a high level. I have found it extremely difficult now to find someone at my age and with similar interests let alone finding someone else with a catholic religion. My favorite physical activities include scuba diving, motorcycling, swimming, and weightlifting. If someone exists similar to my traits and is Catholic, I'd like to find her! Thank you for reading this. Mike

I like being active and the outdoors but I also like down time and relaxing! I can not start my day with out coffee and enjoy all different sports. My favorite include the Cardinals and Blackhawks! I am very close with my family and love spending time with them!
