Friends say I am a classy lady, intelligent, down to earth, caring, positive, kindhearted and have a gentle soul. I love the outdoors and love to hike and camp. Quiet time at home is a wonderful place too :). I try to see each day as a blessing. I enjoy the symphony, broadway shows and sporting events. They can be enjoyed locally as well as in Indy, Dayton or Cincinnati. With summer, Symphony on the Prairie begins in Indy :) Oops, almost forgot to mention I am a Peanuts fan. Charlie, Snoopy and company are loved. I can hoola hoop. Can you?

Hello!! Let's see....where to begin....I consider myself to be a country girl with a little bit of the city in me. I was raised in the country but also lived in Indy for 6 years. I have enjoyed the various activites that city life has to offer from dining with friends, swing dancing (not very good but I try) at fountain square, and playing soccer in a women's league. Then again country life is also rewarding because you can mushroom hunt, ride horses, canoe, and enjoy the smell of freshly mown hay. Cooking is something I enjoy doing and don't mind trying new recipes. This probably goes right along with my hobby of gardening. I also manage a few rental houses. I cherish my upbringing in the church and my personal connection with God. I want to be a bigger part of the church and to make a difference. And the main reason that I am here... to find that special person to love and to cherish. Looking for that one person that understands the faith and has a desire for it to be first in their life.

About me: I find humor in life itself, because God has a great sense of humor. But I have a serious side too, as I recognize this isn't heaven yet. In my spare time, I love to read. Among my favorite authors are G.K. Chesterton, Jane Austen, Tolkien, Dickens (in moderation) and of course good St. Thomas More and St. Augustine. Mysteries are particularly thrilling, especially Agatha Christie. I'm also active and enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, canoeing, sailing, and rock climbing. After going skiing for the first time, I would love to do that again! I take care of the yard work and garden for my folks on the weekends, preferring fresh fruits and vegetables from the backyard to anything found at the local supermarkets. I attend Traditional Latin and Novus Ordo Masses, and I also love going to Byzantine Rite Masses when the opportunity arises. I believe that the choice to be (and remain) Catholic requires fully embracing all of the teaching of the Church. I am very pro-life and particularly active in that regard. While I recognize that I have much to improve, I strive to always remember the inherent dignity of each human person made in the image and likeness of God and treat each person accordingly.
  • Jim, 56 from Indianapolis, IN
    56, Indianapolis, IN
Hello, I'm Jim. I was married for 25 years. I've been separated for four years and divorced for three. I've been trying to figure out how to change divorced to annulled in my Quick View but am apparently edit challenged! I'm a convert of 19 years; along with my children, the greatest experience of my life. (Updated 6/6/2015) I am a romantic at heart. I believe in in true love, forever love and sacramental marriage. I believe they can still be found. I also believe in treating ladies with respect, holding doors for ladies and ladies first! I DO believe that men and women are EQUAL, but we are NOT the same, thank GOD; equal and same are are far from identical. I love to read, especially American history and classic literature. Movies and music are also huge parts of my entertainment. I'm a Colts, Bengals and Vikings fan as well as a pro baseball (Reds)and college basketball and football. I enjoy camping and campfires but am NOT a fisherman or hunter. A day on the water with family and friends is a terrific way to spend time. I am NOT a game player but I do enjoy game playing: cards, board games, corn-hole; I'll try most things at least once.

Fr. Don Quinn was a strong positive Catholic influence in my life. He helped strengthen my faith and knowledge of faith and help me to enjoy living life, including playing golf, serving at Mass, and attending Pacers games. He was a gentleman always greeting people with a handshake and learning each person name.

I found a wonderful man that I'm going to spend time with and see where God takes us. am a very warm, caring, and compassionate person who is devoted to God and to my two amazing faith filled children. We all three received the gift of conversation. I enjoy traveling, dancing, camping, horseback riding, fishing, and watching the stars late at night next to a fire (and eating burnt marshmallows). My immediate and extended family are very important to me. I value family and tradition.

Not a lot of room here to describe myself. I'll keep it brief here and to the point. I'm 46 years old and looking for a companion; tired of being alone. I don't really have a preference for any particular type, really. I prefer to evaluate a potential mate individually. I'm fairly quite and reserved as for as my activities go. I play the guitar have always been interested in music; bit of an artistic type. I'm a Byzantine Rite Catholic as well, and practice it every day (daily prayer, and liturgy at least once a week).
  • Greg, 49 from Indianapolis, IN

Three and a half years ago, I made the decision to convert to Catholicism. I was confirmed at the Easter vigil in 2013. This decision was made over a long period of time starting with a book I read which was written by Pope John Paul II in 1995. Since then, I have spent a great deal of time discerning what God wants me to do. I concluded the Catholic church is the church founded by Jesus and that is where I belong. A year and a half ago, I began helping with an organization called Father Founded This is an organization which attempts to find the biological fathers of Amerasians. There are many people who have fathers who were in the US military during the Vietnam war. When the US pulled out of Vietnam, most of these children were left behind. Now they have grown up and many of them want to get to know their fathers. They are also Americans by birth but it is very difficult to prove. Locating their fathers can be very difficult with the limited information we have to go on, but the searches are successful occasionally and that makes it worth the effort. My interests cover a broad range. Some of the things I enjoy with my leisure time include: hunting, shooting firearms, woodworking, spending time at my property in the country, lifting weights, spending time outdoors, traveling, keeping informed of current events throughout the world, and participating in activities at my parish. Over the past several years, I have spent a great deal of time working on and enjoying the 55 acres I have in a forest located a little over an hour from where I live. It has been a difficult decision, but I have decided to sell this property and open a new restaurant. I like the idea of relocating to a new area of the country to open the new store.

Hi, my name is Rachel! I enjoy spending a lot of my time with my family and friends. I love being outside, especially in the summer; throwing a football, hiking, playing volleyball, and swimming. I come from a very large family of whom I love more than life itself. I have grown up Catholic and my faith has always gotten me through the good and bad times. I enjoy working out and I am in the process of attaining my personal training certification.
