60, Indianapolis, INI'm a congenial person, intelligent but not exceptionally well-read. I enjoy learning, if from an article, a radio or television broadcast or another person. My daughter is at UIndy, enjoying herself, I presume. I enjoy spontaneous prayer, have sadness & mild qualms with the Church; disappointments. They are best overcome with compassion and forgiveness; After all, we're all sinners. I love the music of Josh Groban and the good Sixties stuff: Carole King, John Fogarty, Beatles, Willie Nelson's ballads, The Boss, Rod Stewart's ballads, Carpenters, especially their Christmas album, traditional Christmas music, Simon & Garfunkel... I prefer artists to performers: Bryan Adams. Enjoyed Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Indiana Jones~ (I'm being limited on paragraphs...) I'm not close with family and that saddens me. What little communication we have is strained. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is, but I have some ideas. I look forward to communicating with an intelligent gentleman and possibly having that relationship grow into something very special.
30, Fort Wayne, INI'm originally from the East Coast. I have been living in Fort Wayne Indiana for 3 years, and the change has been good. Some of my favorite things to do is exercise, listen to music, art, and literature. I try to keep a positive perspective and sense of humor on some of the general things in life. Hey if you can't laugh, the days are just too long-haha!I studied business and designing at a Vocational Trade School in Boston MA. I currently work as a sales Rep for retail gift shop in town. I would love to find someone to share our lives together and raise a family! Any thing else you want to know just ask me.
54, Shelbyville, INI was born and raised in Indiana and I come from a large, close family. I just moved back to Indiana 5 years ago after living in several different states, mostly in the South. I'm currently an Insurance Investigator for a company in Indianapolis and spent many years in the retail industry in the Loss Prevention/Security field. I served in the U S Army for 6 1/2 years and I'm currently in the Naval Reserves entering my 13th year. I have 3 years of college completed pursuing a BA degree in History and want to pursue my Masters in American Revolutionary history. As for interest, I love music (Hard Rock/Classic, Punk, Alternative and Blues), I play golf (but not as often as I used to), I run approximately 25-30 miles a week (I belong to a running club) and I love college football and I'm a huge Notre Dame & Navy fan.
28, Lawrenceburg, INHey, I'm Mike. I'm a cradle Catholic, and I'm looking for a serious relationship centered around Christ. I'm really into music, and I listen to all kinds. I also play guitar and bass. I come from a large family, and I love that. I guess that's all I have for now. I hate filling these out lol.
37, Fort Wayne, INI'm passionate about my nieces, my god daughters, my career, my faith, and Notre Dame football, but not always in that order! I value time spent with family and friends. I love life. I like to laugh and be around people who bring me joy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, singing, board and card games, walking, watching movies, crafts, cooking and baking, theater, museums, and traveling (wish I had more time and money for this!). I also enjoy trying new things, so chances are I'll be willing to give your hobbies a try too.I'm horribly clumsy and unathletic, but have been known to try (and enjoy despite aforementioned clumsiness) dancing, canoeing, tubing, volleyball, and shooting (luckily I'm not too clumsy there!). I really want to get into biking and jogging. I'm happy to answer questions about my divorce, in time. I wanted desperately to save our marriage, but my ex was unwilling. I believe in marriage for life and am praying God is preparing you to be a wonderful husband and father... hopefully MY husband. lol :)
71, Dyer, INI love to go to the beach, or I would love to go boating. I like to laugh, be spontaneous, and just enjoy life and have fun. I also like to play Pinochle. I'm a people person and an outdoor person. I like to go to the show once in awhile. I would like someone who is genuine and honest and loves God and who wants to laugh and have a great time. Also, I would like them to be able to converse and carry on an interesting conversation. I would also like for them to be Roman Catholic so that we would be able to attend church together. The most influential person in my life was my father, who was a wonderful man.
46, South Bend, INThe more one observes the birds in the air the more one feels the freedom within. Life is like the water in the river. Watch the water flow and you will soon discover the hidden treasure within.
27, Indianapolis, INBack when i was interviewing for my first job, a common question asked by interviewers was "tell me about yourself". Back then, i rambled on and on about my volunteer work, hobbies, and leadership style, but none of that seems to apply in this situation. I guess what you really want to know is that I have a customer service job where I am "on-call" 24/7. I don't make a lot of plans because they often get interrupted by work. I look forward to new movies that come out and dinner reservations, mostly because 2 hour movies and dinner are both situations where I can step out and answer a phone call. As far as bigger goals, I am working to get in shape for the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon next year (up to 4.5 miles, only another 9 to go). I love watching football, science fiction movies, and stupid sitcoms (i have a unhealthy, shameful obsession with these). I do play fantasy football, which essentially makes me a nerd who doesn't hate sports (however Star Trek is still pretty awesome). I bike whenever i get the opportunity to do so and i enjoy camping. I also love road trips, while hating having to drive to complete errands. About a year ago, i was relocated for work to NW Georgia. I am actively working to get back to Indianapolis full-time, but as of right now i spend about 50% of my time there. I expect to be back full-time in Indy by mid-to-late November. Now that i have rambled on for the past 1,433 characters (gotta love the character count thing on this site), i can tell you that conversations with me are fairly similar. Talking to me is a bit... erratic... but i can stay on topic if the situation calls for it. I dont really know how to end this rambling mess of a personal summary. I guess I'm done....
29, Fishers, INMy Catholic Faith and helping people out are the most important to me. Scripture reading had to be the most profound retreat I've ever been on hearing God's voice through the Scriptures in a real way. I enjoy making a journal of the ways Jesus spoke to me in the Scripture passages. St. John Paul the Great has been very instrumental in me praying the Rosary with the new Luminous Mysteries. Also St. John Vianney patron of priests showed me a life of sacrifice from a young age reading the Cure D Ars book about St. John's life. Also how he prayed for the village to come back to the Catholic Church and Confession and Catechism classes which happened. One thing I enjoy is reading about the Saints and their lives which are fascinating and teach me virtues to live out better. These days there is more sin and temptation in the world then the middle ages but where sin abounds grace all the more abounds so I need to ask God for more grace to overcome the sins in my life. God said the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit so I believe I'm called to take care of that body to be able to accomplish any physical task God asks of me and exercise gives me energy and helps me feel good to accomplish keeping my body fit. I also enjoy play the guitar and most of the time singing praise songs to Jesus making up my own songs but I also play Casting Crowns and Third Day music and the like to Praise and Worship Jesus. Also Eucharistic Adoration when I get free time there is nothing like spending an hour in Adoration with Jesus for an Hour on a Saturday morning. I also regularly go to confession once a monthif my schedule permits. God bless you!
62, Fort Wayne, INI am very passionate about my faith. It is who I am. I believe that a good relationship starts with a deep love of Jesus through Mary. To have a good relationship, you need to be best friends. I consider myself intelligent and interesting. I love my faith and I am very out going and like to try different things with the right person. I love going to movies, especially SciFi, drama and romantic comedies. I enjoy traveling, going out to dinner, sports and talking about things like quantum physics and weird stuff like that. I am also involved in a startup business for growing food better and faster for the poor. I lost my husband about 1.5 years ago and I am looking to start over again. The type of guy I am looking for is one that I can share my faith and love with as well as someone who likes to have plain ol' fun.
