47, Kokomo, INWhat does one say in these types of situations? For starters I am oldest of 7 from an Italian-American family. My family is important to me even though I have lived for from them from time to time. Like any other family we have our disagreements and then move on. My nieces and nephew are an important part of my life, as well as my Godchildren. I try my best to be a role model to them as well as the students that I teach. It is important that they see Christ in me. Prayer is an important part of my life, especially praying the Rosary of Our Blessed Mother. She has been kind to me in asking her Son to answer my prayers. I enjoy going to daily Mass, because it always uplifts me throughout the day even though lately my schedule does not allow it. Also, I love spending time in front of the Blessed Sacrament and having Jesus and me time. I would say that my interests are varied. I love ballroom dancing, reading, taking b/w photos, going to baseball games, and participating in my parish community. I love cooking and think that I am a pretty good cook. I am adventurous and will try new things as long as they do not harm God or myself. I love my faith and the Catholic Church and all that it has to offer. Being part of parish life and community is extremely important to me. It would be nice to have someone in my life who would like to be a part of my life to share these things.
55, Kokomo, INI am a faithful Catholic man, honest, patient, with high standards and strong Christian values. I am Catholic before anything else. I am divorced, but not by my choice, and I still believe that marriage is forever. I have started the process of annulment. I believe in all that the Church teaches, and try to live it. I know that being a true Catholic Christian is much more than putting in an hour on Sunday. I believe that the truth is always better than a lie even if it stings a little. I believe that we are in relationships to help lead each other to Heaven. I am serious, but have a good sense of humor and I love life. Being Catholic is a gift, not a punishment. May God bless you and lead you to the one who He intends for you!
47, Whitestown, IN...the faint heart never won fair lady. For bible study the other day I read Mathew 14:22-33, you know, the story where the disciples are on a boat in the middle of a storm. Suddenly, they see Jesus walking across the water. They think he's a ghost. To test to see if it is Jesus, Peter asks Jesus to allow him to walk across the water. Peter walks for a while but then falls. For this bible study we were to meditate on this reading and focus on one thing that stood out to us. There are a lot of ideas to grab onto in this one: Jesus walking on water, Peter's faith and lack thereof when he takes his eyes off he Lord, Jesus saving Peter, and Jesus' power over the storm. What did I focus on? Verse 22: "Then he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds." Why did Jesus have to MAKE them get in the boat? Did they not want to be away from him? Did they think the crowd might do something to him if they left? Maybe my imagination got the best of me, but I wondered if one of the disciples (probably Peter) asked, "How are you going to get to the other side? It's a long walk don't you know?" Then perhaps Jesus told them that he would sail his own boat across the sea. Definitely, at this point Peter would have put his are around Jesus, politely told Jesus he was crazy, and reminded him which one of them was the fisherman and who was the carpenter. I wondered about how many times in my life I reminded God that I was the expert and knew the "better" way. Maybe I should just leave things to the carpenter. I like talking about all things Catholic. Cars have always been a part of my life. I grew up at my dad's repair shop and at the racetrack. I am a diehard Nebraska Cornhusker football fan.

29, Fishers, INMy Catholic Faith and helping people out are the most important to me. Scripture reading had to be the most profound retreat I've ever been on hearing God's voice through the Scriptures in a real way. I enjoy making a journal of the ways Jesus spoke to me in the Scripture passages. St. John Paul the Great has been very instrumental in me praying the Rosary with the new Luminous Mysteries. Also St. John Vianney patron of priests showed me a life of sacrifice from a young age reading the Cure D Ars book about St. John's life. Also how he prayed for the village to come back to the Catholic Church and Confession and Catechism classes which happened. One thing I enjoy is reading about the Saints and their lives which are fascinating and teach me virtues to live out better. These days there is more sin and temptation in the world then the middle ages but where sin abounds grace all the more abounds so I need to ask God for more grace to overcome the sins in my life. God said the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit so I believe I'm called to take care of that body to be able to accomplish any physical task God asks of me and exercise gives me energy and helps me feel good to accomplish keeping my body fit. I also enjoy play the guitar and most of the time singing praise songs to Jesus making up my own songs but I also play Casting Crowns and Third Day music and the like to Praise and Worship Jesus. Also Eucharistic Adoration when I get free time there is nothing like spending an hour in Adoration with Jesus for an Hour on a Saturday morning. I also regularly go to confession once a monthif my schedule permits. God bless you!
34, Westfield, INMy name is Rose, I'm 34, I'm a little on the shy side but mostly very outgoing. I'm into sports especially basketball and baseball and bowling. I love to cook and paint and read. I would love to be a little more involved in my church but I work afternoons and evenings so I miss a lot of the events that go on and I am a little shy to just show up. My parents especially my mom have always been very important to me. They've taught me how to be a very mature and responsible adult. Along with being loving and giving. I love children. I have none of my own. I love a good chick flick but a good football game is great too! And I am looking for a match that is just as into God as I am if not more so. So that if I go through a spiritual dry spell he can point me in the right direction. Also for the age range to be between 34 and 37.
23, Indianapolis, INOne thing that I kid myself about is that I say I'm a "writer." I say that I kid myself about that because when it comes to writing a profile about myself to put on a Catholic date-site, I'm almost at a lost about what to say. Of course, I'd love to say "I'm a writer" without any irony, but then again, I'd have to actually publish something big, wouldn't I?I feel like I'm not off to a great start, let's try again, shall we? I'm 23 years old, graduated from Wabash College with an English/Education degree. I swam for my school for all 4 years, lettered, and wasn't half-bad either. I'm a high school teacher and a swim coach in Indianapolis. I love teaching and enjoy being at the small, strongly Catholic school I am currently working at.
51, Fishers, INGreetings. I have a tendency to get overcommitted in areas of interest to me. I am active in the Pro-life cause and Religious Liberty with organizations such as Knights of Columbus (4th degree), Right to Life of Indianapolis (Speaker and Board Member) and 40 Days for Life (media communications). Typically I find myself in leadership roles organizing and inspiring action. A lifelong leaner, I earned a bachelors degree in Catholic Theology from Marian University and completed a Masters degree in Catholic Life and Thought from Saint Meinrad School of Theology. My fields of scholarship include extensive studies and research in philosophical, cultural, political, economic, and theological disciplines. Financial services has been my primary career for the past 25 years, but teaching has become my vocation. I am the DRE at our parish and teach philosophy, Ethics, and in an MBA Program at a local college and a university. Concerned with cultural issues, I enjoy attending academic conferences to both participate and deliver white papers. One long term goal I hope to achieve is finishing a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion by the end of 2017. For fun and to help with the New Evangelization, I cohost The Catholic Cave program on Catholic Radio Indy, which focuses on making Catholic philosophy accessible to the laity and applying it to current issues. I've been told that I have a great sense of humor and enjoy meeting new people through a great conversation.

I would describe myself as a devout Catholic, and every day, I try to live my life according to the example set by Jesus Christ. I love meeting new people. I honestly get so much joy from interacting with others. I love to be funny and make others laugh. In addition, I love spending time outdoors and with my family doing whatever.
