52, Carmel, INPassionate about life yet I know how to relax and have fun. I have been a responsible father to my son and am pleased with how well his life is taking shape. My life was influenced by early life-changing events which ultimately made me stronger and better able to adapt to life's challenges. Away from work I enjoy exercising, community involvement, reading and self-improvement. I also have a strong connection to family and am proud of still being close to every one of my immediate family.
31, Indianapolis, INI just moved back to the Indianapolis area after living in Austin, TX for the past year. I am finishing up my degree here while I work part-time. I am also doing some freelance graphic design. I have pursued other career paths, but I decided it was time to finally finish what I started. I am the biggest Notre Dame fan you will ever meet, and that, of course, comes with some super fan stories. I'm not much of an athlete myself though; my coordination is arguably the funniest thing you've ever seen. Its okay to laugh, you'll be laughing right along with me. I like to go to the gym; workouts are my favorite time to reflect. Travel and adventure are my favorite ways to spend a weekend. Im always up for a road trip to a nearby city or some new adrenaline rush (within reason, of course). One of my favorite things to do is to drive into the country and appreciate the beauty. Another favorite pastime is music, while I dont play myself; I love just about any type of music out there. I am literally up for anything from an unknown at the local bar to a big concert in an arena to opera in a theater. Lastly, but most importantly, I do all of the above with my faith in the forefront. I try to live and grow daily in my faith. I was raised Catholic. It wasn't until I was an adult that I truly understood what it meant to be Catholic in more than name. I have had a wonderful witness to the faith from my mom and strive to be half the woman of God she has been. I hope to meet someone who pushes me toward that goal, while enjoying life and everything it has to offer.
36, Westfield, INI am unique - just like everyone else!! So hard to express in a few words just what it is that makes me, me. I am a child of the Lord - a daughter of the King of Kings - a princess in the heavenly kingdom. I aspire to be a saint. I am a daughter, sister, auntie, and friend. I am a baker, a reader, a cook and an eater. I'm a walker, a biker, a swimmer, and roller-blader. I like sunsets and thunderstorms, sunrises and meteor showers. I like giraffes and the redwoods, the ocean and mountains. I like learning and teaching and finding God in the little things of everyday life. I like people, and being around them, but am comfortable with just myself as well. I'm a people-watcher, a friend-maker, a talker and a listener. I love adventure - trying new foods, going new places, taking a different road to work in the morning. I want to seek and follow God's will for my life. We know how the story ends, He told us in His Word. My vocation in life is to find out my role in this story and to live it to the fullest, hopefully leaping at the end of this life into the arms of my waiting, loving, and ever-patient heavenly Father.
39, Westfield, INWell, here are a few things about me. I work in two schools, and I am passionate about helping children learn and grow. I love to travel, and I am always up for new adventures. Family and friends are an important part of my life, and when I have free time I am usually spending it with them. My faith is also an important part of my life, and I enjoy helping with youth ministry at my church.
25, Carmel, INLet me explain--No, there is too much, let me sum up. I'm a graduate of Purdue University by way of Carmel, Indiana who is a huge fan of (among other things) travelling, sports, reading, and classic movies. I'm a devotee of G.K. Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkien, and C.S. Lewis, not to mention Saints Raphael, Joseph, and Jude. I'm something of a storyteller, so if there's something I like, odds are I have a tale about it that's stuck with me. Get to know me and maybe I'll share some of them.
85, Kokomo, INI am passionate regarding my spiritual life and love of Jesus, and devotion to His Mother. Many people have influenced my life, especially my mother, grandmother, my wife and people I have associated with in work, church and leisure activities. I enjoy spending time with family, watching classic movies, playing cards, e-mailing folks and travelling.
45, Crawfordsville, INI live in a small town with a very small Catholic population, and with my schedule, it's not easy to meet single people who share my faith and values. I feel strongly called to marriage, but I want to focus on building a solid friendship before moving into a romantic relationship, if God wills it. I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends; being outside - camping, canoeing, hiking; road trips to explore new places and learn new things; working in the barn with my girls' 4H pigs every summer; home improvement projects and reading. I'm very down-to-earth, in the sense that I'm not into fancy cars/clothes/name brands (except certain things like peanut butter - I'm a Jif girl). I'm easy going, and have a good sense of humor. I'm open and honest and easy to get to know. I'm fluent in sarcasm and snark, so some teasing is a very real possibility. I have two teen daughters at home who keep me busy, and a son at Purdue, who makes me very proud. I don't get to see him nearly enough, but I guess that's what happens when they grow up.
65, Noblesville, INI am passionate about friendship and fellowship. . . My family is very important, especially my grandchildren. I work in the court system. Our Judicial Officers and Administrators I work with have influenced me greatly. The decisions they have to make daily that affect peoples' lives is unimaginable. I enjoy sports especially football (GO COLTS!), music, art, theater, interior decorating and traveling. I like to do just about anything if it involves being outside.
23, Indianapolis, INOne thing that I kid myself about is that I say I'm a "writer." I say that I kid myself about that because when it comes to writing a profile about myself to put on a Catholic date-site, I'm almost at a lost about what to say. Of course, I'd love to say "I'm a writer" without any irony, but then again, I'd have to actually publish something big, wouldn't I?I feel like I'm not off to a great start, let's try again, shall we? I'm 23 years old, graduated from Wabash College with an English/Education degree. I swam for my school for all 4 years, lettered, and wasn't half-bad either. I'm a high school teacher and a swim coach in Indianapolis. I love teaching and enjoy being at the small, strongly Catholic school I am currently working at.
51, Fishers, INGreetings. I have a tendency to get overcommitted in areas of interest to me. I am active in the Pro-life cause and Religious Liberty with organizations such as Knights of Columbus (4th degree), Right to Life of Indianapolis (Speaker and Board Member) and 40 Days for Life (media communications). Typically I find myself in leadership roles organizing and inspiring action. A lifelong leaner, I earned a bachelors degree in Catholic Theology from Marian University and completed a Masters degree in Catholic Life and Thought from Saint Meinrad School of Theology. My fields of scholarship include extensive studies and research in philosophical, cultural, political, economic, and theological disciplines. Financial services has been my primary career for the past 25 years, but teaching has become my vocation. I am the DRE at our parish and teach philosophy, Ethics, and in an MBA Program at a local college and a university. Concerned with cultural issues, I enjoy attending academic conferences to both participate and deliver white papers. One long term goal I hope to achieve is finishing a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion by the end of 2017. For fun and to help with the New Evangelization, I cohost The Catholic Cave program on Catholic Radio Indy, which focuses on making Catholic philosophy accessible to the laity and applying it to current issues. I've been told that I have a great sense of humor and enjoy meeting new people through a great conversation.
