65, Fishers, IN*** I've been single since 1994, and raised my two youngest children on my own. My youngest son has lived away from home in the past, but currently lives with me and the two family canines. I have a daughter and son-in-law and two grandchildren living in another state. I was born and raised Catholic, have "practiced" my faith sporadically until about five years ago. During the past five years I have rarely missed Mass. I have always struggled with my faith, and to this day continue to struggle, but I'm working on that. I'll always be a Catholic, someday I hope to be a better Catholic. *** I'm very loyal and sincere. I'm very honest. I've been told that I'm too honest which I don't understand. I'm a sensitive person and I'm very sensitive to others feelings. I have a good sense of humor but I can also be reserved. I am loving and affectionate, and I'm also struggling to compose rest of this, (to be continued).
70, Anderson, INI am recently retired. Have been in education most of my working career. The last 7 years I did children's programs at a local library. I have a good sense of humor and enjoy conversation. I am involved with my kids and grandkids.I enjoy dining out, movies, theatre and musicals. I am easy going and am very caring. I will also try a just about thing. I grow orchids for a hobby. I enjoy many different sports. I walk almost daily and am just starting to play tennis again.
27, Zionsville, INDon't let the widow status scare you, I promise I'm normal! My greatest passion is my faith followed closely by family. I see the Catholic faith as a love affair, one that I am absolutely besotted with. I like to be organized but rarely am. I love to travel and explore new places or try new things. I have a variety of hobbies and interests including cooking, sewing, soccer, flying kites, building snowmen, dancing (without rhythm), strength training, and painting among other things. I'm a bit of a closet nerd. I always received high marks in school and am definitely into Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and science fiction in general. I play make believe with my daughter and love impromptu dance parties. Pop-up nerf gun wars also are a common occurrence at our house. One day I hope to build a legitimate teepee in our backyard to play in :) I'm afraid of spiders, storms, dentists, and heights. (ok only 3 of those are actually true!) I get sick on roller coasters so you won't find me at an amusement park. I'm surprisingly good at public speaking. Writing is my outlet when life feels too hard. I love being outside but prefer glamping to camping. Blood and other gore doesn't bother me in real life (I'm in the medical profession) but I despise scary movies. I'd much rather laugh with joy than scream in terror. Chocolate is my biggest addiction. Being a wife and mother are two of the greatest gifts God could bless me with and I hope to one day have the amazing opportunity to be doubly blessed all over again. Dating me is going to be different than any other relationship you or I have seen. I still have a great love and in turn grief for my husband. And that will always be there. However the Lord has given our hearts infinite capacity to love and I know I will love my future spouse just as much, if not more than my late husband. I long to have more children and to have a whole family. My life has not gone the way I might have planned, but I believe that God in his goodness will show me an even more beautiful path than the one I had laid out.
29, Indianapolis, IN+J.M.J+ Hello and Welcome to my profile. Let me start off by thanking you for stopping by to see who I am. Now that I have your attention, where do I start ? :) I was born and raised in Australia and grew up attending the Traditional Latin Mass said by FSSP priests, so I have a deep love for the old traditions of the Catholic Church. Although I prefer to attend the Traditional Latin Mass, I am loyal to our Pope and Bishops and will happily assist at all Masses obedient to the Catholic Church. I am currently working full time, while I pray to see if the married, single, or religious (Priestly) life is for me. I have a love for the Blessed Virgin Mary in which I try to cultivate by saying a daily Rosary, and by calling on her regularly throughout the day especially un the title of Our Lady of Sorrows. I have also made the Total Consecration to her prescribed by St. Louis De Montfort. Although I am a caring guy, I am also very shy (almost to a fault) and do not "wear my heart on my sleeve", but once I get to know someone, I do my best to be a very loyal person to all who come into my life. As for photo, I am "camera shy" so I will not put up a photo...yet. If a genuine interest is starting then we can see what can be arranged in regards to getting you a photo :) If you are still reading this ...YAY :) I haven't got you board yet . Send me a message or an interview invitation, or take mine. I look forward to hearing from you!!!
20, Lafayette, INI do believe my faith is one of the most important aspects of my life. I look forward to finding someone who will share my faith with me. My most influential person in my life is God and myself. Because in the end, only those two can push me to be a better person. I love to spend my time outdoors, garden, and look at night skies filled with stars. I enjoy baking and some cooking. I love watching movies and studying film history. But, my single passion lies with acting. I'm a Theatre Arts/ Acting Major at a university in Indiana. It is one of the things that keeps me going and one that I enjoy doing very much.
23, Indianapolis, INOne thing that I kid myself about is that I say I'm a "writer." I say that I kid myself about that because when it comes to writing a profile about myself to put on a Catholic date-site, I'm almost at a lost about what to say. Of course, I'd love to say "I'm a writer" without any irony, but then again, I'd have to actually publish something big, wouldn't I?I feel like I'm not off to a great start, let's try again, shall we? I'm 23 years old, graduated from Wabash College with an English/Education degree. I swam for my school for all 4 years, lettered, and wasn't half-bad either. I'm a high school teacher and a swim coach in Indianapolis. I love teaching and enjoy being at the small, strongly Catholic school I am currently working at.
51, Fishers, INGreetings. I have a tendency to get overcommitted in areas of interest to me. I am active in the Pro-life cause and Religious Liberty with organizations such as Knights of Columbus (4th degree), Right to Life of Indianapolis (Speaker and Board Member) and 40 Days for Life (media communications). Typically I find myself in leadership roles organizing and inspiring action. A lifelong leaner, I earned a bachelors degree in Catholic Theology from Marian University and completed a Masters degree in Catholic Life and Thought from Saint Meinrad School of Theology. My fields of scholarship include extensive studies and research in philosophical, cultural, political, economic, and theological disciplines. Financial services has been my primary career for the past 25 years, but teaching has become my vocation. I am the DRE at our parish and teach philosophy, Ethics, and in an MBA Program at a local college and a university. Concerned with cultural issues, I enjoy attending academic conferences to both participate and deliver white papers. One long term goal I hope to achieve is finishing a doctorate in Philosophy and Religion by the end of 2017. For fun and to help with the New Evangelization, I cohost The Catholic Cave program on Catholic Radio Indy, which focuses on making Catholic philosophy accessible to the laity and applying it to current issues. I've been told that I have a great sense of humor and enjoy meeting new people through a great conversation.
60, Indianapolis, INPassionate about my faith (growing in it) and my family (praying them into Heaven); all else takes second place. Annulment pending. Greatest influences; My parents, quite strict but built us to be strong, to love God, to be fair to others. Neither finished high school, which was fairly common during the War. It was impossible to fool my wise father on anything.... never kid a kidder, he would say! But he taught me many valuable lessons. I especially recall his kindness early one morning after a young man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into our parked new station wagon....this young man had no insurance so refused a trip to the hospital, my dad brought him in, cleaned his head wounds and took great care of him. When I asked him why he wasn't upset about the car, he firmly chastised me that cars can always be replaced but people cannot be replaced. That always made a huge impression on me. He wasn't a brick and mortar type of Catholic, but he lived his faith by example in the way he treated others and his indifference towards materialism. At his funeral, I was stunned by the many people, strangers many, divulging numerous stories of his aiding so many in need, always while rather impoverished himself. My mother was more of a devotional Catholic and more recently I have developed a fuller appreciation and understanding of how her prayers have benefitted me (and still do) and it humbles me in gratitude. So they are my greatest influences and I hope they are smiling down on me. Leisure time? I spend way too much time on the computer and have cut that way back, except that I really enjoy writing and hope to publish someday. I love my dog, had two until recently. I read a lot, lovelovelove music and in my imagination I am an amazing dancer but reality is more like Elaine on Seinfeld. I try to go swimming at the YMCA several times a week to get in better shape and I really enjoy that, eat pretty healthy. Pilates 2 times a week. Love wave running and jumping waves whenever I get the chance. Politics is one of my many passions, so a bit distracted these days! I love old movies which is a passion I inherited from my mother. I'm especially fond of World War 2 movies based on hearing my father's experience in the army. Or any movie that I find edifying or based on a true story I always enjoy. Love remodeling and decorating. I would like to study photography, I am drawn to snapping away at sunsets and autumn scenes or nature in general.
36, Carmel, INI am passionate about learning. Whether getting to know a new friend or soul mate or reading a good biography. My college degree is in Instrumental Music Education, so I have a huge passion for the pageantry of the performing arts. My love of these aesthetics is probably a big reason why I love the Traditional Latin Mass - it must be the closest thing to heaven on earth! Selfless people willing to be an agent of Christ & help others are huge influences in my life. As a former teacher, teachers have obviously played a huge influence in my love for learning more about all the gifts God has given us. I have been active as a teacher/mentor towards those who suffer from the disease of addiction. Recovery from addiction is a tremendous spiritual process, & I relish seeing that process unfold as people find that only God can save them. During my free time, I love both activity & relaxation. I love taking advantage of being outdoors on trails, or in the pool swimming laps. I can devour a book if it runs my brain cells the right way. Netflix, movies, the arts, etc are a great way for me to unwind and bond with another.
24, Walton, INHi! My name is Nita, I am 24 years old and I am a single mom. I just finished up my Associates in Hopitality Administration and concentrating in Baking and Pastry Arts. I am hoping to become a certified pastry chef in May once I take my state exam. I love to bake on my free time. I love baking breads, cakes and cupcakes. Besides baking I do spend time with my kids and teaching them about the catholic faith at a very young. I am a really firm believer of the catholic faith and hoping to seek someone with the same beliefs.
