I have been divorced for some time now & feel I ready to meet someone that is compatible with me to spend quality time. I am a very stable & financially responsible person. Health & excercise is very important to me. I take care of myself physically & would expect the same from someone. I like the usually things people like to do, eat out, movies ect.. I like to cook, work outside & enjoy the outdoors in general. I am independent & like my own space, but if the right person came along who knows what may happen. I am very even tempered & don't want any drama in my life. Have had enough of that way in the past.

Someone asked me once where my "happy place" was, and I immediately responded that it was wherever my kids and grandkids are. I have four children who are all happily married, and who have given me ten grandchildren. I also have a large and loud extended family, and look forward to any time I can spend with them. We are a family of canoers and campers... I walk nearly every day and ride my bike when the weather cooperates. I am not high maintenance and appreciate the simple things in life. I live on a few acres out in the country and really enjoy being outside in my flower and vegetable gardens; I am on track to become a Master Gardener. I read just about anything I can get my hands on - my Kindle is always with me. I'm a huge fan of the Fighting Irish and the Indianapolis Colts...and the Chicago Cubs!

I consider myself to be a friendly outgoing independent woman. A loving mother of 3, and blessed to be a grandmother of 3 adorable girls, all of whom are my priority. My closest friends are another extremely important part of my life who I enjoy spending time with. I am happy with my life but would like to meet a special person who I could get to know and share some mutual interests. I really enjoy sports, particularly college football and basketball, as well as pro football. My favorite teams are Purdue, Notre Dame, Colts, Pacers and the Cubs. A favorite time of year is mid March-St.Patrick's Day and the NCAA tournament. I enjoy walking, outdoor concerts and festivals and it would be great to experience these with a new fun-lovingperson. My faith is an essential part of my life as well as volunteering, both of which help me to remember just how fortunate I really am.

I am a young at heart 64 year old .and most people are shocked at my age. I retired at 62 but still work part time mostly for fun-totally different from my career and I really enjoy it! I am passionate about giving back in my retirement because I have been so blessed in my life. I am also passionate about my grandchildren--my granddaughter is 4 and 2 grandsons, one is 8 months and one is almost 2 weeks wold. They are such blessings in my life and I love spending time with them and my 3 daughters, oldest is 33 and twins who are 31. I have lived in Indianapolis all my life and am so blessed that my grown daughters are close by. I am a positive person who views the glass as half full--I love to laugh and make others laugh--life is too short to be serious all the time. I am organized and a planner but can be spontaneous, too. I love to go to theatre, concerts, movies, Colts games, etc or just staying home and watching a DVD or movie and enjoying a glass or 2 of wine. Long walks on the beach or in a park, visiting museums, festivals, day trips, picnics, outdoor concerts in the summer, and taking a walk with snow falling (it just feels so peaceful!) are other favorites. I like entertaining and had a wonderful Christmas open house for family and friends this year! Looking forward to a family vacation with cousins to the Dominican Republic in July. I have one pet, an almost 17 year old cat, Madeline. (I had another cat but had to put him to sleep in Nov 2015 due to cancer; he was 16 years old.) I love animals--cats are my favorite but I love dogs, too!

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a "young" senior looking for a man to share good times. I am a warm, considerate, honest, loyal, compassionate lady with a great sense of humor. I'm hoping to find someone who shares the same traits. I do volunteer work at the hospital 2 days a week, a very gratifying thing to do with my spare time. I have made many good friends that I have grown to appreciate. I also belong to the Sunday choir and the funeral choir at my church. I don't sing very well, in fact, I was thrown out of the choir as a freshman in high school. But, the choir director at church is much more forgiving than the high school director. who knows, maybe she has turned off my microphone. Anyway, it is fun. And I now am a Eucharistic Minister, visiting the home bound to administer communion. My biggest passion is travel. I have been on several ocean cruises and river cruises in Europe and China. It has been a few years since I've done that and am looking forward to continue travel. My favorite place is Italy, so much history, so many places to see and experience. I've been to Pompeii, would like to go back and spend more time exploring the ruins. Have been to Normandy. breath-taking. tear jerker. Wont ever forget. I enjoy cooking, don't do much lately, cooking for one is not much fun, but one has to eat. I enjoy eating out, going to plays, the movies and festivals. Taking long walks and holding hands with that special person is something I miss and am looking forward to that again. I am not a game player nor someone who uses other people. I am so honest, would appreciate spending time with someone who feels the same. Feel free to respond if I have piqued your interest.

I am most passionate about my faith in God and I most look forward to reading about my faith and praying and spending time talking and texting with my family and my students and friends. I am a university professor and artist and these are my other great passions. I love to travel and to dine out and I enjoy cooking when I have the time. But, I am a light eater and I prefer fresh healthy food, with an occasional biscotti, snacks of nuts and nut bars, and I like to eat protein, fruit, and vegetables and I do love cereal and breads. I don't have a lot of spare time, because my job is demanding and I do have to pay attention to email. In the summers, when I am not teaching I like to travel and see my family and friends and make my art. I was raised as a Navy brat and I had six siblings, but one of my brothers, the funniest one in the family sadly passed away at age 42 and another brother passed away when he was only 56. I am very close with my remaining siblings and love them dearly but they live in Hawaii and California. My family means the world to me and I love them very much, but I am looking for a man to share my life with and who shares my belief in God and who wants to be a helpmate and best friend. I have been very blessed to have a teaching job since I was working on my Masters Degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelry and I have taught my whole life and still love teaching and I still want to continue to teach, unless I meet my soulmate and decide I want to spend more time with him. I am trusting God to send me my soulmate. I would love to meet a man who is a devote Catholic, who is fit and in good health, who is enjoys travel, someone who makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face. A man who loves people and enjoys good conversation and who can be an open communicator and be very honest and who sincerely wishes to do good and help others and who would reciprocate my love and devotion to them.

I was married for 50 years. Loved my wife and had great time together. I love to travel, like sitting in the evening and watching sun go down etc. I love God and all he has done for me. I love going on missions to foreign countries. namely Honduras with Doctors without borders. In my leisure time I love nature, scenic landscapes etc. You would need to get to know me to appreciate what I am

I love conversation and meeting people. I enjoy being around people. I am usually always have a smile on my face. I live with my two cats Bumble and Sassy. No I am not that crazy cat lady. Ha Ha. I have a married daughter that live in another state. I work in the office for the church I attend, and volunteer for them as well. I am a dedicated Catholic woman who loves her faith. When I am not working, I spend time with family and friends. I spend a lot of time Volunteering in my Community that I have lived in all my life. I am a small town girl that enjoys the bigger Cities also. I tend to be a jokester and enjoy music, movies, dining, drives, vacationing, fishing and Cruising, although I have not done much since my late husband has passed 5 years ago. I do consider myself as a strong women (but not the bossy type) but I think that is a positive. Who am I looking for? I am looking for that special man that loves life and would like to share that life with me. I really miss hand holding, hugs, those soft kisses, looking into each others eyes, knowing what each other is saying with out words, and exploring new things and places in life together. You will notice on my ideal match I don't have much, that would be because I am not a judgmental person. I am trying to be realist and dating someone that is not farther than 2 hours(ish) away from where I live.
