First of all, I am CATHOLIC. The Catholic faith and traditions are very important to me. I belong to a fantastic parish and we are like a family. I recently switched jobs from being a teacher of 2 year olds to working at a hotel. Too many years of teaching 2's had made me lose part of my mind (only kidding). I love children and will miss that job ALOT. I can get my fix of children with my best friend-she and her husband have 8. I also teach CCD to and just this year graduated to teaching the 1st Communion kids from being with the 4 & 5 year olds.I was nervous about making the switch to the big kids, but it was truly a blessing. God always knows what he is doing when we get challenged and say yes. And as I mentioned I belong to a fantastic parish with lots of big familes. Friends, family and children are very important to me. I have 2 older brothers, a niece, a nephew and a great nephew and as of July 7th, 2012 a great niece who is very cute. They all live a distance from me so I don't get to see them often, that may change as my niece has just relocated to Iowa. I love my family very much. I am very grateful to have made wonderful friends where I live who are like family.. I was lucky enough to see Pope John Paul 2 at World Youth Day in Denver which was a unique experience and has it's own share of miracles to go with it. I am so glad I took the opportunity to go to Denver. I have reached the point in my life where I can honestly say I am very happy just to be me especially since I took on the challenge to lose weight and have lost 50 pounds as of July 7, 2012!!

I would say that I am a humorous, sensitive, responsible guy who has a lot to offer to the right person. I do not believe in playing games, life is too short for that. I have been a Teacher for 38 years. I have all my own teeth & hair, I can form multi-syllable words into complex sentences, and my knuckles don't drag the ground. I am a genuinely nice guy, a gentleman, easy to be around. :-) I was married for 18 years, and have been divorced for 14 years. I teach 7th and 8th graders how to use power tools. :-) I guess I want the ultimate "Dream Woman". NOT a trophy wife, but must be attractive (at least to me.) Patient, loving, self confident, smart, loyal and honest. A genuine sense of humor is a MUST for me! I want someone to laugh with me. What do you get in return? A loving. hardworking, stable, loyal, honest, intelligent, humorous guy. (All the things women don't seem to be looking for.) LOL

The faith God has given me is the most important thing in this life. As a single person all my life, my parents (deceased) and family are very important to me. My parents taught me the love of God. Before converting to Catholicism in 2010, God's work over a five-year period of time, I was a third-generation Methodist. I embrace all teachings of the Catholic Church and am looking for a companion who does also. The real presence in the Eucharist was embedded in my spirit, with God's grace, for as long as I can remember. In other words, I've always been a Catholic; I just didn't know it until God began calling me to the Catholic Church. I enjoy the quiet things in life . . . going on a walk while listening to Catholic radio, watching a good movie, listening to Christian music or playing it on the piano, a meal out with a close friend, talking with people at church, and traveling abroad. I have been serving as a Eucharistic Minister at a local Catholic hospital for several years and am a member of Serra Club. I retired after 30 some years in the counseling profession and worked several years as a corporate trainer. God has given me a fondness for animals. Looking the friendship of a caring, well-educated, and devout Catholic man with a great sense of humor.

I "am a strong willed, confident in my own skin and compassion thriving soul that value communication is number one thing for me. Trust, integrity. and honest. I'm spirited I was raised as Catholic. I believe God will put two people together and you will know if you are attracted to one other, it take time to see were it go. And one last note, the one you love seems to be able to handle things alone. But don't believe it for a second , this person needs you too. Together you are stronger as two then one. This is why you are together not to walk along.

Walks in nature, picnics and travel is where my heart is. Let's connect!

I am passionate about sharing my life with a straight thinking conservative woman. One that I can trust to use her brain before her heart, Our country and our church is in big trouble right now and we have some very important adult decisions to make. I will never date a liberal, it's a waste of time and they shouldn't even be on this site. For the right woman, I will devote every bit of my heart and energy. I have a strong provider/protector instinct as any good man should. The beauty of the Woman/Man complementary relationship, I believe, is God's 2nd greatest gift to us. I will never deny my Catholic faith as it is who I am. I know that people get distracted by the noise of life and that our Lord does not control this physical world we live in. He created this Catholic faith to help us get through our trials. THAT is His greatest gift to us. My travels to Mexico have given me a great appreciation for what we are blessed with here in the U.S. I would like to be involved with "Food for the Poor" or something similar when I have more time or in my retirement.

Faith is very important to me and I would have to be very sick to miss Mass. I do daily devotions and I attend a Jesuit retreat every year. I have attended this retreat for over thirty years. My mother and father were both influential when I was growing up. My father told me that if I did something wrong, that he wanted to hear it from me first rather than someone else. When I was young my mother would gather us kids in the front room and we would listen to the radio and pray the rosary. I like to walk and bicycle with family and friends. We also go to football games together. I do enjoy the outdoors.
