I am a kind and caring person, I love to laugh, and I enjoy being out in nature and spending time with family and friends. My family, my friends and my faith are the most important things to me, and I couldn't live without any of them. I have a close immediate and extended family that I love very much (5 siblings, lots of cousins, and the proud aunt of 14 nieces/nephews!). I love music (listening to all types, playing the piano, and singing). I enjoy reading, running/exercising, and cooking and baking when I have the time. I love to try out new recipes and share them with friends, because what's the fun in cooking if you can't share the delicious food! My faith is a part of my daily life - I try to make regular time for prayer/reflection each day (though there's always some room for improvement there) and I try to stay involved in my parish through our young adult group and cantoring/singing at Mass. Another passion of mine is running. I love to go for a run at least a few times each week when I can, and enjoy participating in races (mostly just for fun and the experience and to achieve personal goals). Quality time with those that I care about is what I treasure most - whether it's talking over a cup of coffee, playing games, taking a road trip or just sitting at home watching some tv or a movie. I love to travel and visit new cities when I have the chance. I'm fairly laid back and can pretty much get along with anyone. I like to try new things, though it's always better when I have someone to try them with! I tend to be more of a listener than a talker, but I can hold my own in a conversation, and when I am passionate or excited about something I love to talk about it and share it with those close to me. I like to think that I have a good sense of humor -- my sarcasm comes on pretty strong sometimes! Life without humor and laughter would be quite boring! I also have to say that I'm a sappy romantic at heart -- so an old fashioned gentleman is always welcome! :)

"I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples. " ~Mother Teresa I am an individual who is sincere, kind, and gentle. I uphold true femininity and virtue in a world that scoffs at such things and I live my life trying to follow God's will. I enjoy exploring different cultures, cuisines, and religions, because if we understand each other better, our world will become more united.

I am a law student searching for God's will in my life. I love to attend mass, Reconciliation, and pray the rosary. I am looking for someone who's fun, personable, and most of all holy! Honestly, holy women are the most attractive, because attraction runs deeper than just good looks. I really am striving to be holy too. Sometimes I fail, but every once in a while I succeed, and those moments are so full of joy!
  • Rebecca, 33 from West Des Moines, IA
    33, West Des Moines, IA
I am a really sarcastic and silly person especially once you get to know me. So yeah, get to know me. :) I like to spend my free time with genuine people who I care about and who care about me. And I'm still firmly in the exploration stage of living in a new city. My grand adventure in life (so far) has been leaving everything and everyone I know behind and moving to Des Moines. It's been challenging and really helped me grow into who I am and learn more about who I want to be. Whoa maturity! :-) I love the area I am in as I can take walks all the time, try new restaurants and get involved in my community in ways I wasn't able to before. I love photography, movies and singing really loudly in my car. I am hoping to find someone to join me in the next portion of my adventure. Someone who has a passion for life and who challenges me to random dance-offs or philosophical debates. My friends and family say I have a generous heart and I love to make the people around me feel special and loved. Also I cry at Disney movies and Hallmark commercials.
  • Ryan, 25 from Des Moines, IA
    25, Des Moines, IA
Hey there, my name is Ryan. To be honest, I have been somewhat reluctant to try online dating, but after some thought and prayer, I decided that this could be a great venue to meet a person with faith and values similar to my own. Just a little about myself, I grew up in the country outside of a small town in NW Iowa and attended a Catholic High School. I then went to Loras College for my Bachelors and followed that up with my Masters from the University of South Dakota. I recently gained employment in the Des Moines area as a Recruiter and I am excited to see where my career in the Human Resources field leads. My Catholic faith was initially cultivated by my 2 amazing parents and now as an adult, it has been something that I actively have chosen to maintain and develop. I love the Catholic Church and I enjoy learning more and more about it. The ProLife cause is very important to me and I also try to take part in some service work when the right opportunities arise. As I mentioned, my family is extremely important to me. In addition to my parents, I have one brother, whom I consider my best friend; he is married now and I have grown close with his wife (a convert to Catholicism). I am also very close with many of my cousins and extended family. I consider myself social and I very much enjoy being around my friends. I like to go out on the weekends occasionally, but I also can be content staying in and watching Netflix with my dog Bray. I am a HUGE Notre Dame football fan and I try to get to one game every fall. I also am a big fan of the Green Bay Packers. I love being in nature. This includes kayaking, hiking, exercising, working outside with my dad and most importantly, walking my dog! I also love to travel. My family was fortunate enough to go on many vacations as I grew up and I've been to 46 states so far! I also had the chance to study abroad in Ireland and Italy during my time as an undergrad. This time away from friends and family really helped me grow as a person and I had some incredible experiences. It also was a chance to really experience and appreciate my Irish heritage! I loved my time in Europe and hope to return a few times in the future. Overall, I like to have fun, I enjoy people but I have learned a lot from being on my own, I value my faith, family and friends and I am open to what ever this endeavor leads to, whether its a relationship or just a few new friends. God Bless!

I am a writer/editor/social media guru by day and creative writer by night. When I'm not working I can be found writing, reading, playing tennis, attending concerts, and trying really hard to learn how to play guitar. I value my relationships with friends and family and spend most of my free time with the people I love.
  • Laura, 28 from Ankeny, IA
    28, Ankeny, IA
The most important things in my life are faith, family, and friends. I know that with those three things I can make it through anything. I am very close with my family and enjoy spending as much time with them as I can since we don't live as close anymore. I love to do anything outdoors - fish, walk, bike ride, camp, hike, etc. I enjoy going out but also love to just have relaxing nights at home. I can be shy at first but once I get to know someone I really start to open up. I like to have fun and make people smile.
  • Katie, 26 from Des Moines, IA
    26, Des Moines, IA
I'm a proud graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville where I studied philosophy and theology. I also have a master's degree in Scripture which means I sometimes get distracted by Hebrew labels in the Kosher aisle. I grew up in California, an hour from the mountains and an hour from the beach. Being outside makes me feel alive. I try to spend a few days beach camping when I'm home and a couple years ago I finally bagged "The Big One", Mt. Whitney! For my day job, I work at a nearby suburban parish and run their womb-to-tomb faith formation with the assistance of a staff of four. It is both exciting and challenging work. A couple times a month I moonlight as a freelance speaker and teacher for extra income - and the fun of it, because it really is fun. My Catholic faith is the single-most important thing in my life. It calls me to live with excitement, courage, and a desire for greatness and that is so refreshing. This vision extends to marriage and that gives me great hope. In a world where most girls are too afraid to marry the man they live with, Jesus and his Church tell us not to be afraid of commitment. To trust that two people dedicated to a life of virtue can not only live together in unity but can raise a family of saints. Yay!
  • Micah, 34 from Des Moines, IA
    34, Des Moines, IA
My name is Micah. I appreciate good conversation; in fact, I can always tell when a good relationship is going to happen because it starts with a great conversation that usually leaves me saying, "that doesn't happen every day." In my free time, I enjoy exercising, working on business and community projects, and spending time with the fam and friends. I also try to plan one adventure a month. The definition of "adventure" is a loose one...anything from your classic skydiving to skipping town for a few hours to a home project...just something to make me see things from a new perspective and feel a little more alive than I might have otherwise. Bigger adventures are great toonothing beats traveling outside the US. Doing so helps me see things anew and stay centered with my place in the world. The people I meet are the best. The quality most important to me is warmth...warmth of personality, warmth of care for others, warmth toward oneself. I think so many other qualities are wrapped up in this one, but this is my base desire in a partner. I'm a very kind man, focused on doing good for those in my life and learning all I can along the way. I'd really like to find a kind, spunky and confident partner to share in life's adventures. Someone who can challenge me and who I can mutually support. I may contact you and, of course, you may contact me. Either way, I look forward to the conversation!
  • Logan, 25 from Winterset, IA
    25, Winterset, IA
I am the middle child of five boys. I have two sisters-in-law, two nieces, and a nephew, who is also my godson. I'm currently a full time employee at Hyvee Grocers. In my spare time, I play games, video or otherwise, read books or sing and play music. I would like to, some day, open my own restaurant/bar, because making people happy is something I enjoy in life, and food is, in my opinion, the easiest way to do this.
