I'm a country girl at heart and enjoy most anything of a domestic nature, cooking, entertaining, gardening, decorating and enjoying the outdoors and a cozy home. I'm fun-loving, witty, caring, sensitive and an incurable romantic. I love spending time with family and friends, love to dance and socialize as well as spending quiet times at home. I'm a mother of two grown, married children and have 8 beautiful grandchildren. I like to travel when I have the opportunity and look forward to having more time for that in retirement, as well as volunteering and a few more home projects. But although I look forward, I live life in the present and find enjoyment in, and am grateful for, all blessings, no matter how big or small. I've always considered my faith one of the biggest blessings.

Hi! I'm a mother of 2 grown daughters with families of their own, a fun loving grandmother to 3. I have 6 siblings and can stay busy with activities with them if I want. I'm a 'doer' so always looking for ways I can help family and friends. Love to laugh and be around positive and fun loving people. I'm always up for trying something new, going on spur of the moment roadtrips or hanging out and completing some projects!!! I've been on my own for many years and really am new to the dating scene and quite frankly haven't handled it well. I'm pretty independent in ways but on the other hand not so much. Since raising my kids and seeing them on their own and happy opens the door to now focus on me and the opportunity to maybe finding someone to share in this new adventure.

Hi. I consider myself a 'glass half-full' type of person with an optimistic outlook on life. I'm 54 years of age, in good health, a father of a 20-year-old son who was adopted from India as a 14-month old, professionally employed and well-educated, financially secure, a devout Catholic, recently divorced, working on an annulment and looking for a female friend who is looking for a good guy to get to know. What am I passionate about? I love live music of all types, motorcycling (yes, I wear a helmet and protective gear all the time!), I love being a father, I'm an owner of a happy dog (or does she own me?), owning my own home, politics and I'm an avid reader of current events, spy novels and thrillers. People and experiences that have been most influential in my life include my parents (Albert and Rita), my brothers and sister (Tom, Tim, Ted, Teresa, Terry and Thad...notice a trend? Our names all start with 'T') and especially my two oldest brothers Tom and Tim, I've had the good fortune of getting a great education throughout my life including university and graduate school, I've been elected to public office twice in my life and have been very active in politics for all of my adult life. I've lived in six states but I'm primarily a Midwesterner. I've also had the good fortune of being married for 26 years although the marriage failed and has now ended. I harbor no ill will or bitterness toward my ex-wife but I am ready to move on.

I am very passionate that all students can learn and should be given the chance to shine. I am going to be a second year teacher and I am hoping to find a kindergarten position. I really want to make a difference in the lives of children. My family is very important to me. They have influenced me to be the best I can be and they have always been there to help me no matter what. I have had influential teachers who have showed me what a great teacher I can be. They have also helped me to deepen my faith in God. Things I really enjoy doing in my free time are: boating, swimming, walking, reading, being with family/friends, and listening to music. I love to experiencing new things and going to new places. I grew up helping others the best I can and I still enjoy being able to help anyone I can.

Love of life and companionship are a starting point. I am a self-employed (semi-retired) business owner and do a lot of volunteering. Knights of Columbus takes a lot of my time. My real enjoyment comes from just spending time with someone whether it be shopping, sports (watching), museums, movies, eating out or strolling and talking.

I love being around my kids, Grkids, n siblings n nieces n nephews. Im passionate about spending quality time w them. I was a nurse at the cancer center but unable to work now due to vehicle accident. I enjoy doing things for other people n take care of medically needed people for extra income. I'm nonjudgemental, sincere, compassionate, n a true friend. I do like to have fun n have been learning to go out again. I enjoy life. Religion is very important to me n someday if I meet the right man, he must attend Mass. I have taught 3rd Gr Religion class for 10 yrs., I usher n am a greeter for church. I have 3 older children all w a Gd education n I have a soon to b 16 yr old that I share custody with. She is the light of my life at this time. I attend most all of her activities. I am involved w my children n esp my Grkids. Two days of the wk I watch my Grkids so I can spend quality time w them. I have 5 under the age of 8. My ex n I r on decent terms. I grew up on a farm with my Dad being disabled from rheumatoid arthritis. We 8 girls could do the work of any guy. I think taking care of my Dad is what made me want to become a nurse. I love the outdoors; fishing, camping, gardening, going on walks etc. Dancing is my ultimate favorite. I love any kind of music. I like romance, going on walks, going to movies n just snuggling on the couch w my partner. My vows were very important to me but it takes two to make a marriage work. I don't mind public intimacy as long as it's reasonable. I want my partner to put my feelings n needs first. I want to know that I can count on him for whatever reason. He must b able to accept my family as his n I in turn would do the same. I would like to date first then see if it turns into more. No pressure from either of us. Material things r not important to me. I have never had nor want the best of everything. I need to know that I am enough for my partner. I feel Communication is a must for a relationship to work.

A few months ago I got to Mass early and sat in the middle of a pew. As people started coming in I noticed that a family sat in front of me, then a family on one side, then the other side and a large family sat behind me. I smiled watching the moms and dads moving seats and picking up a kid and putting them down to pick up another. For the first time in my life I thought "Where is my family? I should be here at Mass with my wife and children." Why did the Lord choose to put this in my heart now at the age of 38? Since that morning I have been praying for guidance and clarification. Looking back at my life and my relationships I realized that it's only because of my own selfishness and awful decisions that lead to me being single. God, in his mercy, wanted to put this feeling in my heart. I have never seriously thought about marriage until recently. Speaking with both my Grandmothers about this they said "You still have time." With that word of encouragement and the constant reminder of the Catholic Match commercials on Relevant Radio, I have decided to be proactive about it.
