All matters is the company is good and we're somewhere conducive to having a good chat :) My pics here are to show a little of who I am and where i'm from..
  • Din, 40 from DUBLIN, IE
    40, DUBLIN, IE
I could never give justice on how to tell something about myself in writing. But then again, if I were to be in front of a panel interview, being spontaneous in telling anything and everything wherein it reflects my personality, then somehow people can judge me differently..I'm shy at first especially in big does take awhile for me, but i do have a good sense of humor (serious most of the time) and i can withstand long hours of conversation.I'm independent, i love to travel as much as i can especially in pilgrimages. I am good at landmarks, i love cats and enjoy walking on a dry day whether morning or evening walk. Btw, Din is my nickname. My line of work through the years(from one job to another) involved in health services, dealing and taking care of patients, whether in a hospital or non-hospital based setting. I arrived in Ireland in 2005. Since then, I've been here in Dublin, working in the same nursing home. I'm a member of a church choir, though currently due to my work schedule,i consider myself inactive. I have no other family in here, so i considered my choir friends as my family. I don't play any musical instrument . So if you can play the piano or guitar or flute ...or just someone who likes to sing, then i'll sing along with you. Back in October 2011, I went to Lourdes by myself. Took a plane then train to get there. It was my first time to travel out of the country by myself (except when visiting my country). I admit, I was a bit scared but I know She will guide me cuz I'm going to Her. I went there for spiritual, physical and most of all emotional healing, especially when my brother died earlier that year.Next month, Aug,2013 I'll be going back to promised. I'll be there on the Feast of the Assumption. To all reading this, please pray for my safe journey. thank you.

  • Aisling, 32 from Cork, IE
    32, Cork, IE
I am a pretty optimistic person and I am passionate about the people and beliefs that are most important to me. I am not afraid to speak up and defend someone who is not being treated fairly or when a situation is not right. I have a very close circle of friends and I love kids. I have 3 nephews that I adore and am auntie to a lot of my friends kids aswell. I've been around children since I was young and started babysitting when I was twelve. I'm looking forward to the day I can put that experience into practice with my own children. I enjoy meeting friends for dinner, going to see a movie, watching our favourite tv shows with my family (I'm a huge DC & Marvel fan!) driving in the countryside, bowling, swimmingand pretty much any other fun activity we can think of.

About me.. thats always the most difficult. I am looking for some respect, happiness, share morale. May be for love but different then that from Hollywood movies. Experience is the most influential on my life.... You gotta be silly and suffer to understand the greater good.
  • David, 26 from Dublin, IE
    26, Dublin, IE
Passionate about life and believe we are all here for a reason. Back from a recent pilgrimage from Medjugorje, which changed my life for the better! It opened my eyes to so many things and would advise anyone to make the trip if you haven't been there before! You wont regret it! Looking to talk to like minded people about their faith and the experiences they have had, and how they got into it! I'm shy and don't usually go on things like this but it is so hard to find people who are into their faith! People who really know God realise that he has a great sense of humour and luckily he has blessed me with one.. Living in these times, he knows his people need one.. I love talking to people who are very passionate about their faith! I pray the rosary daily and this brings many great graces into my life, just like Our Lady promises it would! I have started to read many books about the works of Jesus and he continues to strengthen my faith. Looking to bring as many people as I can back to God as many people want to live without him. I try to do this by living out my faith by being the best person I can be and if they have a question about it, the holy spirit will answer them :)

  • Sharon, 49 from Cork, IE
    49, Cork, IE
I am a 49 year old woman whose faith is very important to me. I am a member of the Neo Cathecumenate for the past 23 years and I am active in my Parish. I work with young people and enjoy being with other people. I tend to live a very quiet social life but would like to change that a little. In my leisure time I walk and read and watch TV and visit my family and relations. One thing I would love to do more of is to travel. I would love to spend some time in New York and I would also like to spend more time in France but I am open to going anywhere.
