People who know me say that I am caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and intelligent. I like to go bowling and I am on a bowling league. My family and friends are the most influential people in my life because of my speech impediment. In my leisure time I like playing computer games mostly and go to The Kansas City Symphony in the Fall and Winter. I recently got commissioned as an Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan. I can cook and bake just about anything. Some day I would like to have a family.

I'm a family-oriented person. I work in my family's bank, along with both of my parents, so we pretty much see each other a lot (for better or worse). My sisters and I are very close and they are two of my best friends. When we're together it's not uncommon for us to be laughing so hard we cry. I love sports, music and food! I've been a die-hard KU fan since the day I was born but I cheer for K-State too when they're not playing KU. I actually like doing yard work. I find it rewarding to see it when it's done. I like all sorts of music but I was born and raised on country and I still mostly listen to that. I enjoy eating out with friends because like to try new foods, but it's tough to beat having a burger and beer on the deck with friends on a summer night.

Hi! My name is Emily and I moved to the KC metro area 3 months ago for a new job. The location keeps me within driving distance to see my family and friends which I enjoy. I'm usually always up for new adventures/activities, but enjoy other times of staying in too. In my leisure time I keep up with my nieces and nephews' sports activities, reading, always up for going out for Chinese food, shopping, listening to music, cooking and watching movies. I am fairly quiet/reserved till I get to know someone.

Here I am, sitting down to a beer after a day on the job, reflecting...about how to give a good first impression from a computer screen. Nope, got nothing. Here's my attempt: I'm a high school teacher and love my job! I'm down-to-earth, relaxed, perceptive, and enjoy finding the playful humor in everyday situations. I am very close with my family, even though we live a couple hours apart. I'm passionate about turning off electronics and just being truly present with people and enjoying the scenery around you. I enjoy traveling, but I don't need to bungee jump to have fun. (In fact, please don't make me. I have a fear of heights, so I would probably just cry haha) I love going off the beaten path to simply listen and learn peoples' stories. A few quirky facts about me: 1.) I coach high school bowling. Am I good? No. Does that matter to a school that is desperate for a coach? No. 2.) The other day, one of my students called me "grandma." Accident? I think not. More like Freudian slip! I'd like to think it means I'm an old soul who makes good cookies. 3.) Sometimes I eat oatmeal cold and raw. Like, with milk and brown sugar...duh, I'm not THAT gross. 4.) I had an 11-year-old rescue dog named Terrence for a year. He now lives with my parents because he has severe separation anxiety and destroyed a big piece of my carpet (God bless his little heart!). He is a lot happier now, hanging out with my parents' dog, and I still get to cuddle him when I visit. (Side note: I physically cannot restrain myself from petting puppies that are in my vicinity) 5.) I love reading, doing yoga, playing piano, watching movies, coffee dates, cuddling cute things, listening to live music - alternative bands, orchestral, acoustic open mic nights...that kind of thing. I crowd surfed at Warped Tour when I was 15...I've kind of calmed down since :) I hope to hear from you!

Hi! I am most passionate about helping others in this journey of life. I actually look forward to spending quite time in the Adoration Chapel and my work. I have been influenced by many people and events in my life. What has influenced me the most is the journey my life has been on for these past few years. I am also influenced by incredible people I have met through my work and listening to the stories of their life. In my free time......I love enjoying a glass of wine and just sitting on the deck looking up at the stars and breathing in the crisp evening air. I also enjoy taking walks and taking in the beauty of creation. I am not opposed to a nice meal out and great conversation.. I also enjoy an evening in, in which someone else does the cooking! Oh, .and chocolate!!! Chocolate anything! I am not sure if I am ready for this online dating thing, but I do know I like to make new friends and hear the stories of others. Everyone has a story. Some good, some bad, but everyone has a story that makes us who we are today.

Wanna pray a rosary? Because I can see myself spending several decades with you...but seriously...I am a huge dork. I love terrible puns and stupid-cheesy jokes as much as I love my faith. I also seriously love learning about nearly everything. Literature, biology, chemistry, theology - you name it. I got myself degrees in psychology and geology and minors in math and history, just to help illustrate. I'm an introvert, but my primary love language is quality time, so I'm most comfortable in small groups. I'm an open book, but I don't trust easily. Once you've earned it, though, I can be a fiercely loyal friend. My favorite saint is Maximilian Kolbe. Also love St. Joseph and Pier Giorgio Frassati, but Maximilian Kolbe definitely has a strong influence on what makes me who I am. I also love adventure. Discovering new things and places is just another way of learning to me. I've been to Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland, The Bahamas, and about 30 different states. If I've got a holiday from work, I'll sometimes take a long day trip to visit some place new. I love hiking, though there's not much chance of that around eastern Kansas. I find inspiration in movies, books, tv, music, art, and the little mundane every day moments of life. I work with the developmentally disabled and have for almost 3 years now. I mostly enjoy it, but it also has poop, so its not all roses. In my spare time, other than the above, I dabble in wood working, writing, photography, and thoroughly enjoy board games. I don't really know what I was supposed to put here in the first place and I don't think I've used the word "I" half as much in my entire life. So if you want more info, I guess you'll have to ask.

Three important things you need to know about me: I am obsessed with baseball (go Royals!). Road trips are my favorite way to travel. I love all things country. I'm a small-town girl from a large Catholic family. My family and the Catholic values I've been raised in have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am so grateful to my parents for that. My youngest sibling is 12 so it is fun to still have little kids around when I go home to visit. I began running my senior year of college and I am starting to train now for my first half-marathon in June. I enjoy reading, jigsaw puzzles, baking, hiking and visiting new places.

Hello CatholicMatch-ers! I am a 27 year old who has a passion for all things travel, food, and adventure related! Here are some fast facts: - I currently teach middle school social studies and actually enjoy it! (I know, I must be crazy...) - When I am not teaching, I love to travel. Anywhere. At any time. Even a day trip somewhere makes me happy. Feel free to ask me about my current travel challenge! - I have a dog named Hazel that I am probably too obsessed with. She is the perfect roommate, if you ignore the fact that she sleeps all day, eats nonstop, and has destroyed some of my favorite things. - I enjoy eating, but am not the greatest when it comes to cooking and baking. My food is edible, but I have had enough fails to know cooking isn't my strongest skill set. - I had cancer as a child, hence the "big eye." I find people are afraid to ask, so it is good to share now. I have some great stories from my cancer years, so don't be afraid to ask! :)
