I am a forever young mother of 4 grandmother of 8------> I am affectionate, intelligent, charming, clever, loyal, honest, lovable, self-confident, practical, adventurous, and wish to share this time with a REAL man. ( watching a man chop wood for the fire is sooooo sexy) ). I like to visit historical sites that others tend to miss. I love hiking , biking, sailing, flying (passenger only), hot-rods, and most of all --->LIVE music. ---------> I don't like rock-throwing ABORTION ADVOCATES----- My favorite roller coaster is THE BEAST---> My baby sister lives in Naples, Florida---->- so nice to visit her. My little brother lives in Chicago! Visited him a lot last year Have been schooled as an LPN and really enjoy assisting the sick and elderly. I was put on earth to attend to the needs of others----emotionally, spiritually, as well as physically. God has given us everything we need to stay healthy-----stick to that which is NATURAL.

I am spiritual, confident, energetic, kind, compassionate, strong, sensitive, loyal, and trustworthy. I am generous, thoughtful and romantic. I am attentive, trustworthy, sympathetic, direct and straightforward with communication (which sometimes gets me in trouble). I love to laugh and have fun. I see myself as a tiny part of God's creation but realize what I do really does matter in this world. So, I take my Christian responsibility seriously. I see the glass as half full no matter what is happening to me. I am an eternal optimist. I live my life with passion and would like to share that passion with someone special. I believe in good old-fashion values, working hard and loving with every ounce of one's heart. At the center of my life is God, then my significant other and family.

I am passionate about life itself. The fact I can wake up every morning is something to smile about. I look forward to spending time with family & my very close friends. There are times though where being by myself to just relax & have no responsibilities are fine also. I, at that time, will work in my yard, bake , or just work on my house & listen to music. I enjoy traveling; especially to the beach ; playing cards, taking long walks on park trails with my grandson & daughter, seeing musical concerts or plays.

I am a regular guy who has always wanted to get married and have a family but things just never worked out. When I was ready she wasn't and vice versa. I have had a varied work life, starting with three years in the Army, working for a large corporation, then owning my own business, working for a small business, then wrapped up my career working for the U. S. Department of Labor. I retired at 60 and have been traveling a fair amount as well as working on my house. I may not stay retired forever, but I highly recommend it! I am very active in the Knights of Columbus. I lector at Mass regularly, volunteer for festivals, etc. I recently volunteered to be a mentor to a child from a local children's home. I'm just getting started in this endeavor, so we'll see how a 62 year old guy will get along with an energetic 10 year old boy.

I lost my husband and companion of 38 years who was in law enforcement and very involved in related activities and included me. I miss that. I would like to meet someone to enjoy companionship. Going on drives, movies, shows restaurants, etc. Having fun together. I still work part time in the legal profession. I was not fortunate to be blessed with my own children, however, I am guardian to a special needs niece. She does not live with me, she shares a special home with two other ladies and a 24/7 caregiver. I have a four legged devoted companion. He is a 9 year old Carin Terrier, he's blond but close enough for Dorothy's Toto. Enjoying mass together Taking time to get to know one another. Simple things. I love to play cards (canasta, poker), Sadly there are not many family members left to enjoy this with. I love "fixing up" my home. Since I am a Gemini, I relate to change. I love to cook, however, no one to cook for. I have very close friends who have a farm in Indiana. I love spending weekends as a "get away" place in the summer. They will be snow birding very soon.

I like to have some travel plans brewing. My bucket list includes: American Southwest, Europe, Canada, River Cruises. Closer to home, I want to see more of the scenery of the Smoky Mountains and the Carolinas, or take in city expeditions to New York etc. It would be wonderful to have someone to share these adventures with. More importantly, beyond taking trips, I want to share "ordinary" experiences with a special person. I love walking and exploring on trails, taking in plays and concerts and local events, putting together a picnic lunch, or just having a quiet evening. I have one son, with a beautiful and talented daughter-in-law, and two wonderful grandkids. They live in Northern Virginia, so our times together are not frequent enough. But we have intense and fulfilling times, when we do get together. I have a good life, with friends and family. It would be more fulfilling to share with someone special. In Robert Browning's words: "Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be. The last of life, for which the first was made."

Widower that is looking for someone to share quiet time with and to have stirring and stimulating conversation. Strong commitment to my parish. I belong to the Knights of Columbus, St Vincent De Paul conference and active in my Elks Lodge. I volunteer two days a week at the St Vincent call center offering help or assistance to people in need. Since the passing of my wife several years ago, I have gotten back to my Catholic roots. I have many friends now at my parish and I see the way back to a better way of life and living because of my interaction with them. My leisure time is spent either reading, doing crossword puzzles, maintaining my home in and out and when the weather is right I enjoy golf. And the loves of my life are my three pets, Dixie and Krissy my two pups and Jo Jo my African Gray parrot.
