53, Nicholasville, KYI'm a Catholic mom with two children still in the nest. I am currently working as a Direct Support Provider for a home care agency. I also work part time in a local Catholic school cafeteria. With my children getting older I think it may be time to start to find someone special to share my life with. Apparently even though they are older, its still difficult to find time for myself, but I'm not one to decline the challenge. I grew up in Florida, and started working with race horses after graduation. Traveling with them to different tracks was exciting and rewarding AND I got paid to live out my passion. Ultimately my travels led me to Kentucky where I still live. Ironically, once IN Kentucky, Horse Capital of the World, I had my second of five children and quite working with horses to be a full time mother. But I still enjoy going to the races and visiting horse farms. Suggestions for introducing myself say I should list influential people in my life. So, I guess I would have to say as far as famous people go, it would be Mother Teresa. But in my small little world, Id say it boils down to a couple close friends, as well as a couple nuns who taught me in grade school, My youngest daughter is named after them (she has huge shoes to fill). I'm not going to lie. I am still struggling to find myself at age 52. I hope that doesn't sound too cliche. I wouldn't trade the years Ive been left to raise my children alone, for anything, except for maybe someone reliable to have helped me with their upbringing. I did enjoy raising them; all our family activities, the adventures we went on together, and watching them grow. Now that this part of my life is almost over, I am trying to figure out what is next. For now, in my leisure time, occasionally Ill run off to Gatlinburg or Mammoth Cave for a quick get away, But most days I sit back after a days work, talk to my youngest about her school day, and have a glass of wine. From Spring through Fall its most enjoyable on my modest back deck with a Mary Garden and when I'm lucky I'm blessed with a visit from the Hummingbirds. Im blessed to have family in Florida and travel a couple times a year to visit, stopping in Saint Augustine. I love that wonderful little town and the Catholic history around it.
34, Lexington, KYI am a caring, fun person and I am passionate about my Catholic faith. I am originally from Milwaukee, WI, attended Marquette University, spent a semester studying abroad in Cameroon, and completed a master's degree at the University of Chicago. I currently reside in Lexington, Kentucky and work at a community mental health center. As for hobbies, I enjoy rock climbing, exercising in general, and spending time with friends. In a world that is full of struggle and strife, I am so thankful for the peace that my Catholic faith gives me. God is my rock.
66, Lexington, KYHello and all the best to you. I am passionate about my family and friends, my faith and opportunities for learning new things and making a new friend. I look forward to social time and down time, like now, because it is summer break, but I also look forward to time with the students and families I serve, especially those that appreciate what I am able to do for them. I look forward to taking my dog on a walk and seeing neighbors who may be out. I look forward to seeing my grandsons, now 9, 10 and going on 2 months. Those who have been influential in my life are my parents, my teachers, people helped me to feel that I could do things that I didn't think I could do or who noticed when I was good at something, like horseback riding. There have been two amazing principals that I worked with who influenced and affirmed both my work and my faith in God. I'll include the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and Associates who have given me renewed hope for the Catholic faith. And last but not least, Pope Francis. I love to travel to new places when I am able because I always learn new things and meet wonderful people.
24, Lexington, KYHi! I'm the second oldest of seven children. I love to laugh and I love to make people laugh :) I do have a sarcastic sense of humor. I can be a bit of a geek sometimes (think Lord of the Rings and Renaissance Fairs), I like to bake for other people, I have a special place in my heart for kids, and I love to volunteer at the local humane society. I love music! (Even though I don't sing very well, I'm almost always singing anyways!) I also like to quote movies and tv shows. My Faith is very important to me as is my family. We have a very close-knit family including extended family. I am a vet tech and I love my job! I feel blessed to have a job that makes me so happy. And yes, I do have a small tattoo on each wrist. One is the word neart (ny-art), which is Scottish Gaelic for strength, with the triquetra (Irish symbol for the Trinity) underneath it and the other one is Romans 5:8 with a cross underneath it.

47, Georgetown, KYI am a single loving and fun woman. I am looking for a person who is going to first and foremost accept my Catholic faith, as well as my family and I. One who will understand my culture and tradition. A faithful, honest, stable, understanding, loving, kind, hardworking and humble man. My family has always been very influential in my life. 55, Lexington, KYI am passionate first and foremost my love for God and his love for me. I enjoy life and this beautiful world I live in. I would love to meet and fall in love again with someone who has similar interests and values. Most all people I have known over the years have had a positive effect on me in some way and even if I rarely see them anymore or never there is a place in my heart for them with positive memories. I enjoy reading, good movies, UK basketball and my love for pets. There is a lot more but enjoy life and meeting people in general.
21, Lexington, KYMusic and God are my life and I don't where I'd be today without them. I'm a drummer and I love playing at church. Being exposed to so much Christian music can really change a person and I can't describe how amazing it is to get lost in the music. I love any music with a good beat and even better message. One of my all time favorite songs is "I Dare You to Move" by Switchfoot. Listening to that song while hiking is so motavating and moving. Aside from my music, I am a junior at the University of Kentucky studying integrated strategic communications communications and digital media and design with high hopes to go into advertising for pharmaceutical companies. I am involved at Newman Center on campus, unfortunately not as much as I would like to be due to my crazy schedule. Hit me up if you want to know more on how an Indian landed in KY and became a drummer for Catholic Churches!
55, Richmond, KYI am a little shy when it comes to talks abou myself. Nevertheless, I considers myself a person with good sense of humor and easy going. I enjoy home cooking and some time messing up with recipes(too often). My two boys are my food taster (poor boys, but they are very honest and critical). I like to travel international, whenever is possible. My first destination is the Caribbean. I also enjoy outdoor walking, reading, movies, and theaters. I left the rest for some one interested in starting a friendship
51, Lexington, KYI want to meet a confident and attractive man, hopefully taller than me, that is level-headed, kind, bright, and wants to get the most out of life. I am independent and self-reliant. I appreciate a man who is also independent and self-reliant. I am hoping to meet someone online and then get together for lunch, coffee, or dinner. And go from there. I love family. I grew up in Irish Catholic family in the Boston area and stay in touch with family through texts, Facebook, and visits to Massachusetts. I am so glad my Mom learned to text! I have two children. My daughter is in college in the Northeast. I think she has forgotten how to text...My five year old son is in preschool. My son is adopted, but in many ways reminds me of myself when I was a kid. He is super active, naturally athletic, and a sweet child. He keeps me busy, he keeps me active, and he keeps me young. I know many more people because of him and I enjoy his spontaneity. I am hoping he will teach me how to dance--at least the Whip Nae Nae. I grew up playing sports and watching sports (Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Patriots). Our family was a big soccer family and I was lucky enough to get recruited by several universities and received an outstanding education. I came to KY after college as a Jesuit Volunteer in Appalachia and ended up staying. I believe in living life with purpose and my faith is important to me. At this point in my life I want to get out more, meet new people, go on new adventures. I am pretty serious about my job and I do enjoy alone time. But I know life is short and I want to make the most of each day. I enjoy being outdoors when it is warm. I enjoy being around people and I love to laugh. I enjoy being a little silly which is easy to do around kids. As a single parent, there is not much free time, but I will make time for that special someone.
