27, Florence, KYHello! Thank you for viewing my profile! I am looking to meet someone who supports, encourages, and allows me to be the best version of myself. I try to live out my life as a daily prayer, with frequent thoughts of thanksgiving for this wonderful life God has allowed me to live. I enjoy meeting others and thrive off of social interaction. I work in a pharmacy and the best part of my job is being able to interact with coworkers and customers. I make friends easily and would say I am easy to get along with. I look forward to living a simple life with my spouse. I want to live within my financial means and do not expect my husband to make a fortune to make me happy. I am family oriented and nothing makes me more happy than to have time to spend with my loved ones.
65, La Grange, KYI look forward to getting together with my daughters and friends, my jazzercise classes, walking and hiking, reading and going to the movies and theater. It is relaxing to putz around the yard and garden although I'm not thrilled about cutting grass in 95 degree heat. Even though I still work full-time, I have more free time than I had over the last few years. It would be great to meet someone with similar interests to enjoy the great outdoors and share interests. I also am open to expanding my horizons so if you have an unusual hobby, tell me about it although I don't think I would ever be a fan of riding a motorcyle. I continue to find balance in my life between spiritual, mental and physical activitiies. It's quite a juggling act! While I like to be social, I also like some down time. I can be adventurous but I'm also a bookworm. It would be great to meet someone who also has similar values which would need to be discussed and not so easily captured in this profile. A cup ot two of coffee might help us learn about each other.
66, Owensboro, KYI'm not really sure what to tell you about myself. So here goes.... I taught school for 29 years and that was very time consuming, but I really loved teaching. I worked with children who had special needs in the elementary school level. But now that i am retired I am passionate about the volunteering I do. I am a CASA advocate and I have one case. I am basically the 'voice' for children in the court system. I volunteer at BirthRight once a week. I help young moms and their children. Just recently I started volunteering in a kindergarten class. The children are so precious and so much fun to work with. My volunteering allows me to give back to my community. When I am not volunteering I like to read mysteries, historical fiction, etc. I also like to needlepoint. I have taken some classes in social work so I can best help the folks I volunteer for. A few years ago I finished a Master's in Theological Studies at St. Meinad in Indiana. The time spent there was wonderful. I have since gone there for retreats. It is so peaceful and lovely. I am hoping to go to Ireland to do some genealogy. I've done as much as I can do on the internet but I really need to check out the records. I enjoy life.
23, Lexington, KYI am an artist and a musician, drawing, painting, animating, photographing, playing piano and violin, singing, composing and transcribing in my spare time which seems less abundant than when I was a kid, haha. I've also recently been addicted to dancing and skating so best prepare yourself to at least try those with me! According to an online quiz, I am mentally 40 years old, but I believe I have the heart of a child. Life is more enjoyable when you have people to share it with and that's what I hope to do with you. I once read a quote and loved it so much that it kind of became my motto in life and it says something along the lines of "I want to live my life knowing that by the end of it, I've not only lived the length of it, but the breadth of it as well." I think this world has so much to offer and God has enabled us to do so many beautiful things that I have to experience at least a fraction of them before it's my time to go.
53, Louisville, KYMy life is simple but busy. The work I do is difficult but at the same time rewarding. A little over a year ago I left my career of 25 years to accept a position to run a program that advocates for local abused and/or neglected children. It keeps me hopping, sadly. Always holding on to hope that someday there will not be a need for my position. A year ago a wonderful bundle of joy entered my life. A granddaughter. She is certainly my joy, but I work hard to maintain a healthy balance between spending time with her, my work and my social life. It's autumn, my favorite time of the year. Weekends are spent out enjoying the beauty autumn lends itself. Some interests are street festivals, small town shopping, hiking, bike riding and enjoying time with family and friends. That being said, the most important thing to me is my faith. I can't imagine life without it.
29, Lexington, KYI'm an attorney in Lexington, Ky. I was raised in the Catholic but spent most of my life in various Protestant denominations before returning to the Catholic Church. Family and friends are always important to me. I'm born and raised in Kentucky but have family in South Carolina and Texas. I like to get outdoors on the weekends but don't mind spending a quiet night at home. I would rather get to know someone in person than by email or text so I'm always open to getting dinner or coffee to get a chance to talk.
56, Louisville, KYI enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I work in a assisted living and memory care facility. My position is activity director, I get the privilege of working with my residents. I am in charge of trying to keep their body and mind active. My job is very rewarding ! My mom has been very influential to me. Everyday is a blessing and you must always be able to count your blessings ! I enjoy outdoors in warmer weather . I love music, games, sports, cards, etc.,
24, Louisville, KYHello! I am originally from Terre Haute, IN, but I now live in Louisville, KY. I am an oncology nurse. It is my passion to share God's peace, hope, love, strength, and joy with the sick, especially those with cancer.
48, Paducah, KYThe best way I can describe myself is, "What you see is what you get". I am my own person that is very comfortable with who I am and my faith. I love my blue jeans and horseback riding but I also like to wear my "little black dress" and hit the town. I love rainy weather and fires. I feel I am the all-around girl next door. I take my time getting to know a person. If you want to know more, well.....
72, Crittenden, KYWidower that is looking for someone to share quiet time with and to have stirring and stimulating conversation. Strong commitment to my parish. I belong to the Knights of Columbus, St Vincent De Paul conference and active in my Elks Lodge. I volunteer two days a week at the St Vincent call center offering help or assistance to people in need. Since the passing of my wife several years ago, I have gotten back to my Catholic roots. I have many friends now at my parish and I see the way back to a better way of life and living because of my interaction with them. My leisure time is spent either reading, doing crossword puzzles, maintaining my home in and out and when the weather is right I enjoy golf. And the loves of my life are my three pets, Dixie and Krissy my two pups and Jo Jo my African Gray parrot.
41, Pikeville, KYFirst and foremost my faith is my everything. I thank God every day for another day to be with family and friends. I enjoy going to work and I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My priest is a great role model. He will give the shirt off his back if it helps someone. My best friend is also a great role model not only in the church but as a husband, father, and friend. In my leaisure time I enjoy going to the gym. I'm there at least five days a week and then if it's nice outside I try to get a hike in on the weekends with my dog. If not I may go do cardio at the gym or take a road trip. I'm all about jumping in the jeep and taking off somewhere.
19, Crestwood, KYI'm an easy going, social guy. I love doing things outdoors like hunting, fishing, and anything like that. Music is also a huge thing to me. I love to sing and play instruments. I'm currently a student studying diesel technology, after that my plan is to go study conservation law and become a game warden. Thank you for taking this time to read this!
