I am a laid back person. I am personable, honest and funny. I love my family, nieces , nephews. I enjoy my job. I like staying busy and getting out having fun. I love music, college sports, reading and travel. Presently, I am trying to learn Spanish. I like cooking and I do the dishes. This Internet meeting format is something I've been curious about. I have heard it works sometimes. I thought if I could seek someone to share my faith, it would be so complete. Anyway, I would rather talk about you and myself in a different format than in this 2500 character box.
I am very passionate about living my Catholic faith, going to Mass daily and spending time in Adoration most days. My two grown children and eight grandchildren are very special to me and I love it when they come to visit. I like to have fun, laugh and be silly, take walks, ride bikes, fish, sit outside at night and look at the stars, have campfires, play games, sit on the porch or at the lake or walk along the beach and watch the sunrise and sunset, I enjoy gardening and working in my flowers and the outdoors. I want to share my love and my excitement for life. I am looking for someone to share my joys and sorrows and my life with. It would be wonderful to have someone to attend Mass and to pray with and have light and funny or deeply spiritual conversations with and to simply enjoy life together.
"Inquisitive smart woman seeks friend for walks, dinner, social events, companionship, sacramental marriage for the next 30 years"
I am not retired, and don't plan to retire. I have summers off and breaks through out the year. I love what I do and can say I have not really "worked" a day in the last 25 years. I do what I love, and think I still have a fair amount of time and life to share with a partner.
I enjoy gardening, being active outdoors, and being a positive influence in my community. I love to read, watch movies, talk, play cards and board games, learn and share social dance. I value education and have way too much of it. I have enormous curiosity, both about the natural and spiritual realms, and I love to learn.
I probably know more about plants and animals than anyone else would ever want to, and as a result, I am woefully behind on TV and movie-watching. That makes it easy to find a movie I'd like to go to, or a DVD to rent, but I'd rather be out for a walk, usually.
I do not like violent or really sad movies. I want to be entertained in an emotionally safe way when I step into that realm of suspended disbelief. I do like adventure and many thrillers, as long as the good guys win.
I am pretty liberal, and minimalist as a consumer (think "green"). I'm pretty good at practicing what I preach when it comes to leaving a small footprint on this planet, and leaving it in good shape for the next seven generations to come. I am a practicing Catholic, so some days I don't eat meat and I go to church every week; sometimes more often. I do not enjoy sarcasm, bitterness, jokes at the expense of others (cruelty). I admire people who have been through hard times yet are not hard themselves.
I am almost 21, a college student who is working full time as part of my degree, I am a bit of a nerd, but that doesn't mean I shy away from physical things, I love camping, hiking, playing sports, doing new things and whatever else you can throw at me.
I am studying to be a computer engineer, I love Pen and Paper RPGs, science fiction, and board games. I am able to get along with most anyone, but I don't have amnyclose friends because it takes someone special to get past my cold exterior. I act like I am in control, especially when I am not, it makes it easier for me.
Passionate about life, family, and faith. Oldest of seven in a crazy, dynamic family. I enjoy a challenge and hard work. Constantly striving to be a better Catholic and live a healthy, active lifestyle.Talk with me and maybe you'll find out more.
Hello! Thanks for reading my profile. I write Catholic poetry and hope to put out a book in the near future. The Life issues are paramount for me. I've participated in prayer vigils in front of abortion clinics. I have struggled with liking the single life but try to see it as God's Plan/Vocation for me at least so far. Maybe it is the Lord's plan for me until I go to my Reward. I've tried to make peace with that possibility. I did attend some priesthood/religious life discernment retreats years ago. I'm kind of an introvert/bookworm and can be shy until I get to know people. Maybe I'm a little like the last guy Marilyn Monroe mentions in a monologue near the end of "The Seven Year Itch": "You think a girl goes to a party and there's some guy in a fancy striped vest strutting around giving you that I'm-so-handsome-you-can't resist-me look. From this she's supposed to fall flat on her face. Well, she doesn't fall on her face. But there's another guy in the room, over in the corner. Maybe he's nervous and shy ... First, you look past him. But then you sense that he's gentle and kind and worried. That he'll be tender with you, nice and sweet. That's what's really exciting."
I'm a graphic designer that loves music and Latin dance! I speak English and Spanish, plus dabble in other languages. I enjoy time with my friends and family, playing guitar, yoga, cooking, and traveling.
I have a deep gratitude for my Catholic upbringing and schooling, and aspire to understand my faith and God's Word more deeply.
I'm also a bit of a nerd and have been known to debate with friends and family about things like the dangers of processed dairy, the overuse of antibiotics in Western medicine, or the Oxford comma.
Raised in Bethlehem, PA. Been living in Louisville, KY for the past 5 years.
I am passionate about my job because it is the only thing I have right now. I put all my heart and soul in to the work I do. I am also passionate about the volunteer work I do at my church on Saturdays I don't work. I look forward to wake up Saturday mornings making my way to St. Joseph's and do the Lord's work by making and serving meals to those in need.
When I'm not working late, I like to do zumba, volunteer, and go to the gym. On Sundays, I like to, of course, go to 8 am mass, and hang out with "family" and have Sunday dinner.
I am strong willed, independent, passionate, and caring person.
I am looking to get into the dating world and meet new people that share my values. I am new to this so I am not sure exactly what to say. I love the outdoors and being active and I also read a lot when I am home from work...my new favorite is C. S. Lewis...currently reading The Great Divorce.
I love music and art, animals, sharing days with someone meaningful. I enjoy all four seasons which is why I moved back to Kentucky from the Southwest. My latest passion is wood carving. I like working with my hands. Family and friends are important to me. Although my family is spread across the States we stay in touch and help each ither out. Being half Italian I love cooking Italian dinners and especiallyblove baking biscottu. Meeting new people is something I really enjoy. Im like my father.... Ive never met a stranger.
