55, Bellevue, KYI love life but am missing that special someone in my life to love. I love swimming and reading. Music is important to me. I love being outdoors in nature.
33, Louisville, KYI work for Jefferson County Public Schools as a sign language interpreter. I work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. I have done mission work with Hearts in Motion, a group serving Central America to provide medical and other social services. I am a devout Catholic, but I can still have fun. I love Mexican food. I recently started eating Paleo, and love it too! I miss my pastas! I love cool funky coffee shops. I listen to all kinds of music but mostly pop and 80's. I read a lot, at least a book a week. I read almost anything I can get my hands on, except Stephen King and sci-fi. I love sushi and Chinese food! I have been to Guatemala twice to work with the people there who are in extreme poverty. I have helped build a nutrition center, orphanage and done medical clinics. They need clean drinking water and enough food to be healthy. I think everyone should have clean drinking water and plan to do some work with one of the charities that helps bring clean water to villages. I am a closet nerd. I like Star Wars and math. I still know the quadratic formula that I learned in high school. I sing a song about it, to the tune of "Pop goes the weasel." I like crime shows and mystery novels.

55, Murray, KYI was born and raised Roman Catholic and I strongly subscribe to the current liberation theology and humanism of the current Pope (Francis) and the Jesuits. I do not subscribe to the idea that science and religion cannot coexist. Throughout the history of both endeavors each has displayed a very dynamic and intellectual process of growth based on reasonable self-examination. There on zealots of the absolute in both science, or more properly technology and religion, especially fundamentalism. I enjoy many things but tennis, sci-fi films/books, and music (Blues, Prog-Rock, Jazz and Rock Instrumental, especially), reading philosophy (Nietzsche, Peter Singer, Robert C. Solomn, Irving Singer, Post-Modernism, Existentialism, etc.), science, fiction (Hermann Hesse, Tolkien, Sturgeon, Silverberg, Arthur C. Clarke, and so many more), and bicycling and my most preferred activities. Go Gators! Go Steelers! Go Racers!

63, Central City, KYI am a widower and feel deeply the loneliness of being single as my wife was my best friend. I would like to meet a free-spirited, open and direct man with whom I could enjoy doing the things I like to do. Development of friendship is the first step, then go from there.
36, Louisville, KYI am passionate about helping others, doing volunteer work and wanting to find work to help people even more. I think my parents have been the most influential people in my life. They have given me strength and conviction, and the friends I made in high school and college have been extraordinary influences. Those I volunteer with have also changed my life. I am passionate about writing and I look forward to someday being a published author and influencing others with my words, as I have been influenced. I hope to meet someone to share my life with and find the happiness my parents have had in their marriage. I read voraciously--Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft to Jane Austen and the Harry Potter Books. My tastes in music is just as eclectic, anything from old school Motown and the Beatles to Pink Floyd and Aerosmith, Vivaldi and Chopin to Taylor Swift. I also love movies, horror and anything that will make me cry. I love to write: poetry and short stories to nonfiction memoir type stuff. I am also a geek that reads historical writings and watching documentaries. Hoping to find someone who loves to play Scrabble and dice games and enjoys a spirited debate. I will watch basketball, mixed martial arts fighting and boxing, hope that I find someone who will also endure watching figure skating with me. And someone who will love my puppy Trixie as much as I do.
