I believe I am called to marriage and looking forward to having children. My Dad is the most influential in my life. I recently lost my parents to cancer. I miss them everyday. I know they're with God that gives me peace. I like watching TV shows, being on the internet, and hanging out with friends.
41, Georgetown, KYAloha, my name is Michael, born and raised on the island of Maui, relocated to the "Bluegrass State", and have resided here since June of 2009. I was baptized into our Roman Catholic faith as a toddler, grew up in the church since my parents where highly involved in our old parish community, served as an alter boy from the age of 8 and up until I was 18. During my teenage years I served with our parish youth group on several community projects, food drives, volunteered at the local homeless shelter, worked with other troubled youths, and was also the president of our parish youth group for 2 years. A few years after graduating from high school I got involved with a local car club called "Forbidden Pleasures", and continued to serve our community by fund raising for local charities. Most notably our local "Toys for Tots" program which brought together other churches in our island community, raised funds for an event which was held just before Christmas, all the local car clubs would donate toys, gifts, and bikes to all the children that where less fortunate than most. Currently I'm involved with our local parish and school community by volunteering my time in prepping for one of our biggest fund raising efforts that help our parish school students. AKA bingo! I'm not what you would consider your typical Catholic, but in many ways I am. I've experienced many things in my life's journeys some good and some bad. But my faith has always given me the strength I needed to continue to push forward. My best friend Jonah, who I met when I was 16 and knew up until he passed away in 2012 was the most influential person in my life. To me he displayed everything about how one should live their life. I miss him to this very day and our conversations. He always had a way to cheer you up when you where down and he had a laugh that was infectious! You could help but to laugh when you heard it! He was and still is the primary motivating force in why I do what I do. He truly knew the meaning of love and life! I love you Jonah and miss you bro! Nowadays, when I'm not working my two jobs, I like to hang out with friends, spend time with my two boys, I love cooking, and grilling. I also enjoy working on my car, that's when I have car parts to put on, going to car shows, watching sports, playing video games, that's when my kids aren't playing on the Play Station, and being outside to watch the sunset or looking at the stars.
62, Owensboro, KYFirst passion, my faith and relationship with God. "For through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." Galatians 3:23-27. My passion in life is to run the race faithfully and complete the task set before me, that is, being a witness to the good news of God's grace~sometimes I fail. Second passion, my family~being a mother, grandma, and a sister. Third passion, being a Catholic educator, leading others to Christ and seeing God through the eyes of children is an awesome experience. My son has been influential on my life. He passed away at the age of 22 from melanoma. He was strong willed, having great faith and trust in God until he left this earth. In my leisure time I like reading, doing needlework, and gardening.

31, Erlanger, KYSome would say I am "ambitious and religious". I am the kind of guy people trust because I hold myself to a high standard and try to keep to Catholic Church teachings the best I can. Which is probably why I was asked twice to be a Godparent. Carrying on a great conversation and laughter are two things perhaps we can share. I like to play. I love to get outside and hike, go for walks and cycle. I am also a pretty good cook (humbly patting myself on my back) and I like to play the guitar.

I'm the third of four children. I still attend the church I grew up in. I enjoy movies and going out to eat. I also enjoy nature and outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. I enjoy a little vegetable and flower gardening. I often vacation at the beach and love the ocean. My favorite time was kayaking with young dolphins playing by the kayak. I was fortunate enough to video the experience so I get to relive it. I also love to visit the mountains and especially enjoy waterfalls. Traveling is something I love to do, but don't get to enough. My parents have been the biggest influence in my life. They are a wonderful example for me, having been married for over 45 years now. I grew up on a farm where they taught me the value of hard work.

69, Louisville, KYThis is the best time in my life, and I would like to share it with a special man who is a trustworthy friend, loyal companion, and romantic partner. Friends describe me as classy and sophisticated; I am also grounded, down-to-earth, and secure. I was born and grew up in Louisville, KY, moved away in 1980 and returned as a widow in 2012. I am retired after a career in academia and the public sector. I believe relationships work well when, in addition to chemistry and the intangibles, a couple shares values & interests. Some values: Compassion (toward self and others, and being able to give & receive compassion); belief & trust in God; social justice; simplicity & non-materialism (I'm a minimalist at heart); integrity; freedom; mindfulness; respect for nature & protecting the environment; & doing something to make our community, country & world a better place. Some interests: Art & architecture; progressive politics & public policy; stimulating conversation; literature & poetry; movies; the performing arts; classical music; & travel (local, national & international). In my 20s, I served in the Peace Corps, which helped me become a "citizen of the world" & sparked my lifelong love of travel and cross-cultural adventures. I have traveled in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific, but not Latin America yet. The man I would like to meet doesn't have to be a "Renaissance man" per se, but I'd like someone with comparable depth and breadth of life experiences. I am looking for a well-educated man with an intellectual bent, who likes stimulating conversations on all types of topics. Life is too short not to try to experience joy and discovery of something new each day. Also, I find that a sense of humor and being able to be playful helps with the inevitable "rubs" and irritations in relationships and life.
