48, Franklin, KY*UPDATED 9/16* I'm just re-evaluating my life and I decided I did not want to give up on finding someone to share my life with if that is God's plan. I live near the Father's of Mercy and their Chapel of Divine Mercy is one of the most extraordinary places to attend Mass as well as the perfect place to let God speak to your heart. But this is a mostly rural protestant area and the other Catholic's that I meet are married so I'm giving this site a shot. I currently have a good job and am enjoying life with my two dogs. I live just north of Nashville, a city I dearly love, and I like to travel there often as I can to see friends and take in the town(not the tourist stuff). I like live music and just spending time with friends. I am trying improve myself every day with the help of God's grace and striving to be the person He has created me to be, but I'll be honest...I'm a work in progress, but then again, aren't we all? I am seeking a wonderful friend (or possible spouse) who I can share the ups and downs of life with. What are you looking for? Maybe it's me :)
31, Corbin, KYI am a school psychologist in southeast Kentucky. I'm very family-oriented. When I'm not busy with my job, I enjoy traveling, watching sports (major UK fan, GO CATS), or spending time with my family (especially my brother).
30, Albany, KYI am really a simple person. I enjoy being and doing things outside. I also enjoy curling up and watching movies and reading a good book. I was raised United Methodist but converted 5 years ago. It was the best decision I ever made. I am very close to my family. I was raised to believe that when you don't have anything else, you've always got your family. Family is very important to me. I am trying to improve myself both physically and spiritually. I love learning about the Church and the Saints.
51, Erlanger, KYI am a loving, kind, empathetic and loyal 49 year old professional woman interested in making friends and, hopefully, meeting that special someone. I recently went through a bit of a "transformation" and feel great about it. I used to spend most of my time and energy on my super fast-paced, high stress career in South Florida until health issues required me to take a break. All of a sudden I was faced with waking up each day and not going into the office. What a difference. After some time, I felt like God was leading me to act on my long-supressed desire to spend more time with my family. So, I packed up my two cats, dug out some winter clothes and ventured "north" to the Northern KY/Cincinnati for some months. My parents and most of my sisters/brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews live in Northern KY and I've been visiting the area regularly for 20 odd years. The rest of my family is in Pittsburgh, where I grew up (and, yes, I am a Steelers fan!). As much as I love the warm sunshine, sandy beaches and lifestyle of South Florida, I have found that I love the closeness of family more. I've spent time doing some of the simple, meaningful things that I never had much time for before: attending bible study classes, baking with my nieces, laughing with my sisters over board games, getting cooking tips from my dad, watching my nephew compete at Tae-kwon-do and getting beat at video games by my 9 year old Godson. I have learned to slow down and "smell the roses" so to speak; and I love it. For now I'll be splitting my time between Northern KY and Florida, but expect that I will be permanently relocating in the Northern KY area before the end of the year. My interests are varied-travel, theatre, movies, history, reading, fashion, etc. I'm just not a huge fan of cold weather so I've not spent much time doing things like skiing, ice skating or sledding. Although day to day I am generally a very healthy eater, I do treat myself to all different kinds of food (Indian, Cuban, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Thai, etc.) and am the stereotypical lover of all things chocolate!
65, Louisville, KYI am a 65 year old Catholic woman looking for a good Catholic man. I have been a widow for six years now. I work in a Catholic elementary school for 16 years as secretary to the Principal. I have two grown married children and two granddaughters. I like to travel especially down to sunny places. I love to watch sports, especially football. I look forward to meeting someone and hopefully our relationship will bloom into something special. I might not be your first date, your first kiss, your first love but hopefully I can be your last everything.
23, Newport, KYI am passionate about becoming closer to Jesus! I have been blessed with great family and friends to help me on my journey through life. I am an analytical and open-minded person. I'm never angry - my college roommates tried to get me to yell at them all the time because they thought I was too pleasant most of the time. My humor tends to be self-deprecating and sarcastic. I believe in being respectful to women and clearly communicating bounds in relationships.
56, Paducah, KYI am passionate about my faith/relationship with the Lord. I have been alone for a long time--raising our children after the loss of my husband. I have 6 children, ranging in age from 31 to 15-4 boys, 2 girls. I have 6 granddaughters! I am pretty close to most of them (the children), as we were pretty dependent upon one another to "get through" life without Dad. I am a Texan--born and raised, but my husband imported me to KY. It is where I reside, but not where my heart is. I love Texas, but I truly love Tennessee--the mountains. I would take a mountain retreat over a beach scene any day! Not that I don't/can't appreciate the beauty and serenity of the beach, but the mountains have my heart. I recently completed my Business degree and love to learn. I am in the process of seeking an additional degree in accounting. Talking about myself on a website is awkward for me. My "bucket list" includes at least a half-marathon, if not a full marathon
45, Lexington, KYHi! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Good relationships are so essential in life's ups and downs. I love outdoor activities and feel most alive when in nature. Hobbies include hiking, fishing, camping, and gardening. Would like to take up kayaking some day. Indoor hobbies include reading, sewing, listening to music and I love to dance. I also enjoy traveling. I come from a large family. My mom, grandmother and uncle were the most influential people in my early life. God and my children are my current guides.
