I have a good sense of humor and love life.I am very thankful for my faith and know that I am protected and guided daily in my walk with Jesus.I enjoy reading and organizing my thoughts in a coffee shop or in the quiet of my home. I enjoy information that deals my faith, health, medicine, nutrition and history. I love to laugh and enjoy the lighter side of life. Some of my hobbies are reading, gardening and cooking, My work/life are balanced. I don't like to rush in the morning if i don't have to. I like to sip my cafe au lait while checking my e-mail, paying bills and making my grocery list. I sometimes break out in song in my car when a song I love comes on. Actually, I like quiet. I guess a good measure of noise and quiet . I enjoy music of all kinds. I would like a friend who wouldn't mind walking around a book store or library thumbing through books, going to mass, dining out sometimes and discussing topics of interest we share.

Patience is a virtue which must be exercised with God's plan for us. Especially when it comes to our future spouse. HE knows our best match, but we must participate in his plan for us. This can be a challenge, but in my case.... Challenges are what motivates me. I love making people laugh. I love playing volleyball. Singing makes me happy. I find a lot of references in life to seinfield & brian regan.(YouTube him, you know you want to..) I enjoy watching chick flicks- that's right... I said it... I enjoy fixing electronics. God's sense of humor allows me to laugh daily and prepare me for the future. I am, in all senses of the phrase, Waiting for my future wife. I was born a cradle catholic & my parents have been an amazing example of a holy catholic family. And for the most shocking of all news, I am from New Orleans and I do not like crawfish.

In my leisure time, I like to take walks, listen to music. I enjoy watching a few select TV shows. I like to take a drive to go someplace, maybe for no particular reason, just to explore. What I look forward to most is leisure time and trying to have a good time, whatever that may be, hopefully with a good friend.

Eternal optimist with voracious appetite for life-long learning -- be it art, music, science or history. Blessed with ability to balance a writing career with ballet teaching. Love God, the Green Bay Packers (believing football should not be played beneath a dome), and baseball played just about anywhere (again, as long it's not under a dome). I'm pretty resilient, having grown up with 6 brothers who used to stuff me in the toy box and sit on it, or knock the wind out of me during backyard football games. I appreciate critical thinking and thoughtful analysis, but can also laugh myself silly, even in a room by myself (I am my father's daughter). Involved in dance my entire life, both performing and teaching. My background is in ballet, but I equally love to boogie to Marvin Gaye. I mainly work as a writer/editor/researcher. I value the company of someone who loves to read and makes the effort to express himself articulately. I'm passionate about libraries (also love to "visit" those of other cities, online). I also like to read local newspapers from other cities. I appreciate men who like and respect women, beyond being attracted to them. I'm abreast of current events and acquire information from many news sources. My parents were politically independent and raised us to vote for the person, not the party. I have retained this philosophy. Nutrition and fitness are key in my life. I spend as little time as humanly possible on the phone and have no use for chit chat. I enjoy stimulating conversations best during a long hike, and don't mind the silent pauses in between. How a man first introduces himself is key -- an easy, friendly manner, with a comment about something he liked in my profile. Finally, I think that proselytizing is best done by quiet demonstration of good character.

let's see where do I begin....I am a sports fanatic who loves her Saints and LSU Tigers. I'm also an Atlanta Braves Fan. I graduated from Nicholls State University with a degree in Mass Communications- Sports Media. I love helping children, I'm currently a Pre-K 3 teacher. I am a Saints season ticket holder, so on games days that's where I will be. Going to sporting events is something I love to do. I love to travel and most of my vacations have revolved around me being able to attend a sporting event; even though every now and then I go somewhere with no sports. ;) Country music is another one of my passions and I love going to country concerts; actually I love going to concerts period. Spending time with my family is a must. Growing up near the bayou, I love being on the water and going to the camp. Family is the most IMPORTANT thing in my life. Growing up an only child made me appreciate family so much more. I am a very shy person at first, but I am not afraid to open to someone who deserves it. My goal in life is to get married and have a family.

I come from a large, Catholic family of seven children. I've been a teacher in the public school system since 1997. I originally studied fine arts, but made the decision to go into regular education to better improve my job prospects. I began teaching third and fourth graders, and then switched to middle school reading and English. While teaching middle school, I met the Talented in Visual Arts teacher, and she guided me into the program in which I now devote my time. I teach Talented in Visual Arts Students in grades K-8. We exhibit at the zoo every November, along with kids from all over the parish. My students focus on drawing, painting, and sculpture. Papier Mache' is our favorite medium, which we've used to sculpt masks, puppets, toys, human and animal busts, and dolls. Both of my parents have been big influences in my life. My father was a university administrator, and a self-made man, having studied after leaving the Army in which he served during the Korean War. My mother is a retired teacher who encouraged me to visit her class, and find out first hand what teaching was like. I've worked steadily since the age of fourteen. I started out as a newspaper boy, and later worked at service stations. I've also worked as a printer, layout artist, photographer, and sign painter while working my way through college. I enjoy working with my hands, reading, bicycling, and collecting antiques. I have a small house on a large lot with a barn in the back which I use as my workshop. I spent several summers re-framing the workshop to save it from the wrath of hungry termites. I've made a few cabinets in my shop using only antique hand-tools. I enjoy the process of building without the noise of power tools, although I occasionally break down and use a power saw on non-cabinet projects. My home originally belonged to a French immigrant couple, who produced much of their own food, so I have at times grown vegetables.

I am a saints fan and Lsu [?]Fan so foitball is my important event and likewise for the person I am looking to spend time with. I am not a jealous person and would not try to make a "mistake work" with someone who is because life is too short to be miserable. I love blues music ,the French quarter, my garden clubs and much more. I have a Siamese cat who is getting up in age and I love dogs too. I am honest and loyal and a one on one relationship is the only relationship I would have. loving one another is mist important. My religion and my God and my family are what makes each day the fulfillment I need.

A student and youth minister, I have a passion for teaching and encouraging youth to follow the path God has laid for them. With the support and love of family and friends, I have been able to achieve the goals I have set for myself as well as followed the calls that God has presented to me. In my short 24 years, I've experience things that have taught me how to rely on my faith and I have been ever challenged to never give up. I spend my spare time with those closest to me, including my large family and my small circle of friends. They have been my back bone and support system through life, and they will always hold that important space in my life. I would say that I am always up for an adventure, but nothing to crazy. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and doing anything outdoors. My ideal Saturday night would be a sitting around a fire, riding four wheelers, and spending time with friends. I dont have much free time with work and school, but I always enjoy a good book or movie when I habe time to decompress.
