60, Harvey, LAI am a fun-loving, fit, sincere, non-stop entrepreneur, with a good sense of humor who always manages to make time for family and friends. My degree is in nursing, but real estate is my passion. I like being with people & talking to people. I enjoy hosting get-togethers & having fun with family , friends, & neighbors. My friends describe me as dependable, considerate, spiritual, caring, loving, compassionate, & a good friend to have when needed, or simply to have fun with. I have learned enough about myself to know what I want in my relationships and so have no need for games. Getting to know a person is fun and exciting. I look forward to meeting you.
61, Slidell, LAI am passionate about making a difference in the lives of the people around me. Whether its family and friends, or my job in law enforcement, I'm always there for the people that need me. In addition to outdoor activities and frequent exercise, I enjoy classical movies, great books, and spirited conversation. I am also an EWTN addict and enjoy reading books on Catholic theology and morality. I come from a family of seven children, with the five boys sharing one bedroom. So there was always a lot of activity at home, around the dinner table, and outside. We grew up hunting and fishing the marshes of south Louisiana, working hard in a number of neighborhood jobs, and studied hard to get ahead in life. But we always seem to have fun, and stay focused on what was important in life-God, family, country, friends, and the freedom to be yourself.
72, Metairie, LAI am passionate about family, and my volunteer work. My parents and a college professor were the most influential people in my life. My divorce, and subsequent Master's Degree changed my life. I am, indeed, a blessed lady...
79, Mandeville, LAI deeply enjoy family life and helping to make it a a place of love and support where each member can grow to be more fully the people they are. God must be foremost in the family and the family can help all its members grow in love and service of others and in love for God. I enjoy sharing in family events and activities with friends. I enjoy all outdoor activities--running, biking, gardening, etc. Growing in our faith and love for God and others is integral to all I do. My health is excellent and I enjoy being physically active and exercise most days running, health club workouts, grass cutting, gardening, biking, nature hikes, etc. My Catholic faith has been an integral part of my life. I want to continue to live our faith with God's grace as fully as I can. That is why I have come to Catholic Match.
64, Mandeville, LAEternal optimist with voracious appetite for life-long learning -- be it art, music, science or history. Blessed with ability to balance a writing career with ballet teaching. Love God, the Green Bay Packers (believing football should not be played beneath a dome), and baseball played just about anywhere (again, as long it's not under a dome). I'm pretty resilient, having grown up with 6 brothers who used to stuff me in the toy box and sit on it, or knock the wind out of me during backyard football games. I appreciate critical thinking and thoughtful analysis, but can also laugh myself silly, even in a room by myself (I am my father's daughter). Involved in dance my entire life, both performing and teaching. My background is in ballet, but I equally love to boogie to Marvin Gaye. I mainly work as a writer/editor/researcher. I value the company of someone who loves to read and makes the effort to express himself articulately. I'm passionate about libraries (also love to "visit" those of other cities, online). I also like to read local newspapers from other cities. I appreciate men who like and respect women, beyond being attracted to them. I'm abreast of current events and acquire information from many news sources. My parents were politically independent and raised us to vote for the person, not the party. I have retained this philosophy. Nutrition and fitness are key in my life. I spend as little time as humanly possible on the phone and have no use for chit chat. I enjoy stimulating conversations best during a long hike, and don't mind the silent pauses in between. How a man first introduces himself is key -- an easy, friendly manner, with a comment about something he liked in my profile. Finally, I think that proselytizing is best done by quiet demonstration of good character.

63, River Ridge, LAAt the core of my personality is my relationship with God. In my early 20's I experienced a deep spiritual conversion that continues to affect me to this very day. After many years of college education, I finally found my calling as a lay-catholic chaplain. Not only is this what I do for a living, it is how I identify myself as a person. I became a "Board Certified Chaplain" in 2001 with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Helping people spiritually is what gives my life meaning and purpose. When I am not working there are many things I enjoy doing for fun. Going for walks in the park, listening to music and eating out are at the top of my list. As a " people person " I love to spend time with family and friends, but finding that right person to share all these things with would make my life complete.
63, Covington, LAI'm looking to meet new people, to go out and enjoy life in the company of someone special. I enjoy going to special events, movies, out to dinner. 65, Gretna, LAI'm a retired widow looking for a new chapter in my life. I recently sold the home I had shared with my children and late husband, and sized down to a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse, closer to three of my Granddaughters! I'm blessed with five little girls who call me "Grammie"! My faith is strong and is an important part of my life! I am a practicing Catholic... My personality is outgoing and gregarious for the most part, and I'm blessed with many friends! I'm active, enjoy cooking for friends, entertaining in small groups, and gardening in my new little yard! I try to make the most of every day and enjoy traveling near and far! I'm especially fond of live theatre, dancing, my flower beds, decorating and crafts! My relationship with my late husband taught me so much about love and laughter and the art of a happy relationship. I'm a total romantic and adore touching, kissing, warm hugs and slow dancing to a beautiful love song, or snuggling together while watching a romantic film! My motto is, "Be yourself; Everyone else is taken"! I enjoy festivals, lunch at a quaint little "hole in the wall place", receiving flowers whether it's a dozen or just one as a surprise, love songs, and original poetry. I'm happy spending the weekend at a Romantic Bed and Breakfast, away from all the hustle of the city. (it's very romantic) You might want to know that I love anything historical, and enjoy finding a cute antique shop on a country road with a General store to browse in. Though I don't have one now, I love dogs, and fireplaces on a cold. brisk night! It would be wonderful to hear about some of your likes and things you enjoy... If you think we have some things in common, I'd enjoy hearing from you!
