31, Abita Springs, LAHowdy, I'm Lawrence. I was born in New Orleans and grew up in St. Bernard, and then got washed away to the north shore in 2005. Its a nice place but I do miss the Da Parish sometimes. I love being active and working out. I regularly go to a gym that I love and I've started running and cycling. Since starting fitness has become important to me. I love to push myself to see what I can do. Im also big into archery even though I dont get to do it nearly as often as Id like. Also Id much rather be playing a sport than watching it but I still will depending on the team. I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I like roller coasters and other fast rides, I plan on going skydiving sometime and white water rafting/ kayaking. My friends and I are planning on making a kayaking trip from Gulfport to Ship Island and back at some point. Also I like being out in nature so I'm all for going camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. I love the beach and tropical areas and being around water as often as I can. I've started doing 5ks when I get the chance. I love biking. But staying in can be just as enjoyable sometimes; game night with friends, movies at home, or just realizing that I've been reading a book until 2 in the morning can be just as rewarding as going to the beach. I'm usually up for whatever if my friends decide to do something spontaneously. In the winter I'm a Timing & Penalty judge for Color Guard. Kinda inherited the family business with that. It's fun work and I get to travel around south Louisiana and Mississippi. I didn't know where to put this but I'm as comfortable in a tie and dress shoes as I am in jeans and tennis shoes. So I can do the beach in the day and a formal event at night and it would be a good day for me.
31, New Orleans, LAMy name is Nick. My friends say that I'm funny and smart and handsome, but I keep them chained to the furnace in my basement, so they tell me whatever I want to hear (That was a joke). I enjoy reading, and watching and making movies, something I would like to make a living out of doing. I'm pretty easy going and I like to laugh; I believe life is an adventure, so you should enjoy yourself. I go mass every week and pray the rosary. I don't smoke, or drink. I have nothing against drinking socially (if I did then I could never be around my family during holidays. Or sporting events. Or funerals), I just don't like hanging out in bars and if someone tells me they are having a party, I think there should be cake and ice cream (possibly pony rides, a moon bounce at minimum). I'd much rather be able to have a conversation with someone. I'm not shy and I like to talk, but I'm not a social networking person, I'd rather have dinner with someone and talk face to face. I'm old fashioned in some ways, especially when it comes to dating, not in the sexist a-woman-should-obey-the-man way. I just believe in treating a woman the way I would want my sister to be treated. My Catholic faith is the foundation of my life, it's the rationale behind my decisions, and the catalyst of actions.
28, Metairie, LAHello, my name is Ryan. I am a down-to-earth, regular guy who treats women with respect. I graduated from Loyola in marketing and promotions. I am a huge sports fanatic and am looking to get into the sports business. I work a little bit of everywhere: Pelicans games, VooDoo games, and Zephyrs games; mostly helping with game day stats. I also dabble in extra work and stand-in work with movie productions down here in the city since the movie business is booming. I try to stay busy, keeps the mind working... I am a cool, laid-back kinda guy and I can talk about anything.. I can be the funny guy and the romantic type all at once. Family is very important to me. If you love Seinfeld, HIMYM, and/or country music, then you are perfect in my book! I am looking for a girl who shares my same interests and who enjoys a simple date such as dinner or a movie or just a night out on the town. My faith and morals are very important to me, so I am hoping to find a girl who shares the same morals and values in life. I just want a girl who we can enjoy each other's company. A must have is a love for sports, especially the Saints and Pelicans.
27, Slidell, LADo you love music? Me too! Do you love to laugh? Me too! Do you love traveling? Me too! Are your faith and friends and family the most important things in your life? Me too! I am a confident, driven person who loves to laugh! I love singing, telling stories, and making others laugh. I am constantly finding joy in the big and little things. I love to read and dream about what the future could be. I am inspired by the saints--their faith and their works. I love serving! I love leading youth missions trips and serving the homeless. My goals in life are to find as much joy in service to Christ as possible and to be a saint when I die. Im probably a pretty complicated person... Which just means there's always something new to learn right? Haha. I have a handful of friends from high school or college that know me inside and out... So, I can't be that weird. I have a growth mindset. Which means I believe there is always something new to learn and improve! I try to keep up to date with professional practices, health breakthroughs, and social welfare. i hope to work in an impoverished school overseas one day. I think I would learn a lot about simplicity and the joy of learning. American education has lost its joy... I want to help us find it again. Here's some fun things about Nikki: 1. I sometimes refer to myself in the third person. 2. I pretendre to speak le frenche. 3. I could eat chicken and potatoes everyday and love it! 4. I am a human jukebox. I sing all the time. 5. I have a loud, infectious laugh! 6. I live on the water and hope to have a boat one day! 8. I'm a closet intellectual... Most people see the fun, social me, but I love to stay home and read up on some philosophy or theology. (I'm brilliant... Shhh!) 9. I love well placed movie quotes.
35, Metairie, LAI am outgoing, fun, hard working, and always open to new experiences in life. 31, Lafitte, LAHi! I'm Kami. I enjoy spending time with my nephew and two young nieces, who definitely bring out my sillier side! I work in a medical records office at a hospital and previously worked as a speech therapy assistant with young kids. I like to read, watch TV, and play music. I'd rather hang out with friends or watch a movie than go out partying or clubbing. Overall, I'm pretty blessed :)
29, Metairie, LAI am a teacher at a Catholic high school, and I teach all teenage girls. Working off purgatory, you know! I enjoy cooking and mixing drinks on the side and hanging out with friends and going out to eat and seeing movies and stuff. I'm pretty much up for anything when with the right person. I am certainly an intellectual and fall squarely within the Thomistic philosophical tradition. Sometimes I will play piano (but I need to know people for a while before they ever hear it). I enjoy reading--with the Lord of the Rings and Hitchhiker's Guide series being my favorite. "Suits" is absolutely my favorite show ever, and Harvey Specter inspires my wardrobe. Most people describe me as a southern gentleman, as respectful, and polite. I can be a little shy, especially at first. Let me also just disclose here that I don't currently have a subscription to this site. The whole "online" thing hasn't exactly been successful for me. So right now I can't send messages to people--but I can read them!
19, Metairie, LAMy name is Jared, and I am extremely passionate about liturgical music. I am an organist and cantor at several local churches, and I am also a parish and high school choir director. I also am a high school catechist. Mother church and her teaching are a huge part of my life as a member of the body of Christ. I am studying to acquire a major in theology, and I plan to be a high school religion teacher.
24, Mandeville, LAPeople describe me as sweet, but know that I am also a hard worker who will fight for what is right and good. I have standards and will not settle, but I am willing to compromise on issues that may arise. Im ultimately looking for a husband, but first want to get to know you as a friend. I believe that when starting a relationship a good foundation of friendship is important.
21, Slidell, LAHi! My name is Christian. I like to watch movies, look at art, spend time with friends, and play video games. My faith is a Major part of my life, and i could not be the person i am today without it. Bring a catholic is a hard life, as you all know yourselves. So I am looking for a person who knows this path, and loves God as much as i do! Who treat me and others with love and respect, who makes me laugh and makes me a better person, and makes God an influence for each of her decisions. I wish all of you the the best of luck in Your journey with God. God Bless!
32, New Orleans, LAI'm a fairly secular left-wing Catholic. I try to be a good Catholic but I believe in a more existential belief where we need to be the change we want to see or we'll never see it. I'm liberal in every sense of the word and while I don't expect most of the matches to be similar to that but I can hope..
