30, Pineville, LAHey! I'm Suzanne. I'm a recent convert to the Church (Easter '11!) & I absolutely love it. I feel like I can't soak up enough Catholic goodness, & I'm hoping that's a feeling that stays with me for a good long while. Currently I work part time at a local froyo place while I search for more gainful employment. I'm a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, you usually can't get me to shut up. ;) I'm kind of awkward at times, but I'm pretty easygoing otherwise. I love to make other people smile. I'm easily distracted (thanks ADD) and usually have at least 10 things going on at once. I love spending time with my friends & family, just having a good time. I adore my godmother and adopted 'grandparents', and love to spend time with them learning about the Catholic faith. My best friend and I are as close as sisters, especially since we both converted at the same time and were baptized & confirmed together. I also spend time doting on my cats. My hobbies and interests are very varied. I'm into a little of this and a little of that. Main interests include photography, rosary/jewelry making, reading, and video games. I enjoy playing and watching softball and martial arts. I've only practiced Tae Kwon Do before, back in HS. I stopped for college and I miss it horribly and want to get back into it. I also enjoy watching football and baseball when I can. Favorite teams are Atlanta Braves, New Orleans Saints, and LSU Tigers. When it comes to music, movies, and books, my tastes are all over the board. Some of my favorites are listed below.
65, Pineville, LAI love life and I love to have fun and laugh, but I can also be serious. Friends tell me that I am a very bubbly, upbeat and positive person and a joy to be around. I love a variety of activities and usually have fun in anything I may be doing at the time. I make a GOOD cup of coffee and enjoy a cup of coffee with good conversation. I love to cook and/or entertain friends or I can enjoy dinner out. Love to go to movies or enjoy a good movie at home. I do road trips, and other travel, gardening, fishing, hunting, reading, watching T.V., and people watching, (I love people). However, I would like to find a significant other to do things with and/or to enjoy quiet evenings at home. I am a Teacher and I also work part time as a Licensed Practical Nurse. There are so many wonderful things that God has put on this BEAUTIFUL earth for everyone to enjoy. I AM FULL OF LIFE AND JOY AND I HAVE A LOT TO OFFER THE RIGHT PERSON. I feel that God will eventually send the Right person to me and we will have a WONDERFUL LIFE TOGETHER! I PRAY THAT HE WILL DO THE SAME FOR YOU. Mary

35, Saint Landry, LAThere's a lot to say..! I didn't grow up in a stable household with 2 parents. They split up when I was 4, so most of my life was spent trying to find stability and understand what it was to be a human being( how to live and so forth). Although I I grew up in a Protestant ecclesial community, but had influences of Catholic as well. Mom grew up Catholic, so she did have some influence on me. But, for the most part, I was stanch my Protestant, and authentically believed that all "Catholics were going to Hell". It's what I was taught from an early age. I just took is by faith & trusted that as the truth. It wasn't until sometime in college that I decided to test my beliefs. Hence, I became Catholic. I'm not perfect by any means. So, I won't expect perfection from anyone else either. The important thing is whether or not we can accept each other in our states of life & try our best to grow from wherever that may be. A huge thing for me is to find a woman who can love me the way God loves me & help me be a better man. I'll do the same for her. When it comes to my immediate family, we're really not that close. We do love each other, but for whatever reason, we aren't what I imagine a family should be. I am all too familiar with all the things that go along with a broken family & don't want that for my own & want to create a Christ-like family. I know that no family is perfect, but to have one that is solidly committed to one another would mean the world to me. What else, I tend to have a wide variety of interests & tend to see good in many ventures. When in a new place, I tend to want to know about its history, because you get a more intimate picture of the culture. I do the same with people I meet. I like the outdoors & indoors. I'm a Theology of the Body fan. I find great fulfillment in journaling, because it gets me in touch with a very deep part of myself and helps me draw closer to God. Also, I had no interest in politics until I became Catholic & learned that JP2 epitomized what an authentic politician should be. When reading his works and watching films of him and reading books about him, I literally sensed his fatherly love, and truly knew that he loved me. I wish I could've met him while he was still among the church militant. I did get to go to his grave, but there's no substitute for that fatherly embrace.
40, Natchitoches, LAI'm passionate about making others laugh. If you see me smiling for no apparent reason, I'm thinking of a bizarre scenario where I have them doubled over. I enjoy traveling, both nearby and farther away. It's been a while since I've left the country. I'm working on fixing that. In addition to family members, dozens of classmates and coworkers have influenced me very much, and some continue to do so.
61, Monroe, LAI'm a DWM, 6'1" tall, black hair (cut short and conservative), very brown eyes, black and grey beard (also cut short). I have a very outgoing personality and a very active sense of humor. I'm very goal oriented and persistant; once I set out to accomplish something, I won't stop until I've achieved that goal. I enjoy kidding around, telling jokes and making people laugh. I try to be compasionate and understanding of other's problems and try to be a good, active listener. I open doors for my dates and I try to provide a shoulder to lean on if needed. I enjoy watching movies/shows about science fiction, action/adventure, or comedy. (I don't care for tear-jerkers!) Also, in case you need to know, I know how to treat a lady like a Princess and I'm very affectionate! I enjoy walking, volleyball, reading and playing chess. I do NOT enjoy watching sports on TV, except boxing or kick boxing, so if you're looking for a guy who's gonna be a couch potato on Sunday afternoons or during Monday night football season, it ain't me! I can play the piano by ear, but I'm much better at playing my stereo.
46, Vidalia, LAI am not as strong in the church as I should be, but am trying to get back into the habit of attending weekly mass. I am a single annulled man for 17+ years. I am also a construction worker, my job includes travel, although I try and locate employment on long term sites (greater than 1 year).
42, Winnsboro, LAI am a single hard working lady, who is looking to make friends, and possibly meet the person the lord would have me to be with. I love my job as I am a certified nursing assistant, I feel as if this is my chosen gift from the lord to help the elderly, and I love to grow anything, it's my passion:). I also love pets, I have a beautiful kitty named trouble she is a calico, and is so much company for me. I love the lord, and my faith, hoping to find that special someone.
18, Pineville, LAI grew up with 2 brothers and a single mother . I enjoy playing guitar , basketball , and football . I love music mostly rock and country . I love dogs and other pets
37, Alexandria, LAI like to read, walk, spend time with my dogs, attend church, movies, concerts, rodeos. I look forward to coming home to my little four legged dogs wagging their tails.
70, Deville, LAI am widowed and had been married for 48 yrs. . My wife and I were very active in our church and have many experiences with our church family. I attended Catholic school through the 8th grade and then public school and then to college. My parents gave me a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility. My grandparents were quick to allow me to help them and make mistakes in learning without being critical. From my parents and grandparents I learned how to pick and shell peas, pull corn, dig potatoes, gather eggs, and milk cows at 4:00 in the morning and again in the afternoon. I still enjoy animals but not the 4:oo AM milking or the other things that I had learned. I enjoy hunting, fishing, time with my granddaughters and chores around my home. I like unplanned day trips, looking at flea markets and junk shops. I find and meet some interesting people at these places.
