Some of our favorites include Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride.
31, Baton Rouge, LAI came down to Baton Rouge in 2011 to teach physics and robotics. Before that I lived in the Chicagoland area where I had been born and raised. I am passionate about teaching and it has done a lot of good things for me. My students constantly inspire me to do more and to be better. In my free time I like to do a variety of things. I enjoy reading fiction, including fantasy and science fiction. My hobbies include writing fiction and hobby programming. In case you did not catch it from the subjects I teach, I am a bit of a nerd :) With my friends I spend a lot of time playing boardgames, video games, or pen and paper role playing games. I believe that I should be constantly improving myself. This can range from teaching myself new skills to learning new things.
25, Zachary, LAHi! My name is Katie. I'm from Zachary, Louisiana. (North of Baton Rouge) I was very skeptical signing up on this site because I always rolled my eyes at the online dating thing. But the world we live in today makes it difficult to find someone with the same values, so I thought I'd give this a try! I can be shy a times, but for the most part I'm pretty outgoing. I like to be outdoors. Although I've never really been camping or anything but that is something I've always wanted to do [even though I'm deathly afraid of bugs]. I'm always fascinated with the sky and you can usually find me snapping loads of pictures of it. Photography is not a profession of mine, but I've always been interested in it, just never really have the time to sit down and figure out my camera. Ummm... Family.. My family is my world. I'm one of seven children, yes SEVEN! I'm the second to oldest in line. I have four sisters and two brothers. I have four nieces and a nephew and another nephew on the way! My family is a huge part of my life and they inspire me everyday to be a better version of myself!
34, Prairieville, LAI love getting to know people who understands how beautiful life is when walking with God. I'm originally from Mexico but I have been in the BR area for 2 years getting my MBA. I enjoy a quiet afternoon as much as a night out dancing; it all depends on the company :)
27, Baton Rouge, LAIn my free time I like to roam New Orleans and travel. I grew up in a Catholic family with roots in New Orleans, a city I love for it's multi cultural heritage (French, Spanish, Italian), I like good conversations and hearing people's stories as well getting to know other's senses of humor. I am drawn to art, especially through books and music. I have a special love for the scholar, poet, and artist Pope John Paul the Great.
55, Baton Rouge, LALike many of my generation, I drifted away from my Catholic faith on an invisible tether, quite unaware that a deep and profound God consciousness had been lovingly instilled in me as a small child by parents, by the very early and numinous experience of Mass and of the Holy Eucharist and that I would surely and inevitably be gently drawn back into the arms of the Mother Church that originally gave birth to this consciousness. Someday soon, I would like to rediscover the wonders of my Catholic faith with a compatible woman who has herself experiencing a similar reawakening.
21, Denham Springs, LAMy mother introduced me to the Church when I was in high school.I converted to Catholicism in Easter of 2015. I am currently employed by a local ISP (Internet Service Provider) and going to technical college for an associate degree in Information Technology for computer networking; I will graduate this year. I am very passionate about my Catholic faith, The more that I learn about the teachings of the church, the more that I find out that it has all the answers to my questions. I feel that I have drawn much closer to God than I ever could have as a Protestant. My confirmation Saint is St. Maximilian Kolbe. I am very passionate about the issues that are harming the culture today such as Abortion, Contraception, Euthanasia, and big government. I really enjoy studying history, especially WWII. I see many atrocities that were committed by the socialist/communist governments of the 20th century beginning to take hold in the west. I wish to ensure that my generation does not forget that if you are able to dehumanize someone (the unborn, the elderly) you can very easily destroy them without much thought.

30, Baton Rouge, LAI am a medically retired combat medic who is going back to school for biochemistry to one day hopefully veer some students in the right direction. I brew beer and make wine, I do enjoy a good drink at the end of the day, but when it is accompanied with good company and family. I am not big on the bar seen, I would much rather have a cook out or fire over at my house and eat and find some games to do. I most always will not go out to eat crawfish, when you can boil them it just seems more enjoyable to do a sack or two and call a few friends and family over to eat.
