42, Ville Platte, LAHello. For whoever is reading this, everyone calls me Johnny. I didn't get serious about GOD until I was about 17. Just a few friends (6 of us) from a small school started a Catholic youth group that in less than a years time grew to over 40. We did not even actively recruit. Just from word getting around, people sought us out to join. About 30% was not even from our school or town. At first we had no structure. It was just a small group of friends meeting. When we started growing, we then need to organize and have a formal structure. I was one of the 2 voted by majority to be a youth group leader. We went on the do allot of community work etc. After we finished high school (myself included ) the group fell apart. It was during that 2 years that we raised enough money to charter a bus to go to Colorado for a week and attend World Youth Day 1993. We hiked 5 miles to a valley area called Cherry Creek Park where for 2 days about 2 million people were camped out in nothing but sleeping bags in a open valley/field. We shared Sunday Mass with Pope John Paul 2. It was during the Consecration part of the Mass that I had a moving experience. Long explanation, but thats the short story. I'm a sucker for a girl that has a soft, warm, and giving nature. I have an enormous amount of love to give and will give all of myself to that one special person that in return will do the same to me. I want to share my life with someone that has the utmost respect for life that loves GOD, loves children, with firmly planted ethical, moral, and religious values. I Love GOD and go to church daily. My faith is part of my daily life. I like to have fun with family and friends.(Just to be clear, I call my future Wife and Children, my Family)(They will be my highest priority) I try to be direct and to the point. I don't hide, lie or play games. I'm not the biggest, tallest, richest, greatest looking guy out there but I'm friendly, sociable, kind, respectful, generous, caring, and deeply loving. The same could be said for the person I want to share my life with. Above all and foremost the woman I'm looking for has to have Honesty, Trust, Commitment, and Respect. (respect for herself and for others) Without these core values, a relationship will not survive. I hold these values deeply in a way that is very rare these days and I don't cross these lines for any reason. If you think you're that rare type that is willing to be the Love of my Life, I would be honored to speak with you.
74, Carencro, LAI am a healthy, active 69 y/o. I am friendly and outgoing. I have many interests and I enjoy learning and experiencing new things. I enjoy traveling, backroads, mountains, beaches. I enjoy entertaining family and friends at home , but also enjoy quiet times with a good book. I would like to meet someone who would be my best friend and companion. Enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning together is something that I would look forward to.
34, Breaux Bridge, LAI'm not good at this but here goes: I'm a devout Catholic, born and raised. I'm super conservative, totally and passionately against abortions and a good listener. I love horses and have 1 beautiful and stupid half Arabian half Tennessee Walker, (I had another horse but she died on Nov 4 2015, and I'm trying to cope but it's hard), 10 chickens (each with their own personality, lol) and a cat. I like Ice Hockey. I'm an artist and seldom times write poetry. And unique ways to spelling names like Kaightie -figure that out :) Cajun names, that sound different from the spelling, rock. I'm majoring in Geology but can't narrow down what I should specifically want.

73, Lafayette, LAIntelligent, well-read, take-charge personality. Vietnam U.S. Marine Corps veteran, but I am not crazy. Some friends have called me a curmudgeon or a renaissance man, I call myself tough but sensitive and loyal and faithful. I cannot abide lies.
27, Eunice, LAI am 25 years old; I'm originally from a small town in Texas. I'm a country guy at heart who comes from a family of 7. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things; especially languages. I am very spontaneous; I like to get out there and do things. I am very much a passionate person when it comes to being outdoors. I enjoy hiking, canoeing, backpacking, camping; pretty much anything outdoors wise. I love meeting new people as they always add something to my life. I'm passionate about my own life and how well I do. I'm currently working on my nursing license. My family is nursing oriented: so why break tradition? Lol
38, Baton Rouge, LA(Currently, only looking to meet faithful Catholics and develop holy friendships) There is nothing more important to me than the Catholic faith. I am not always the best representative of Christ but like many Catholics, I'm striving for holiness and advancement in the spiritual life. Although the world won't understand, drawing closer to the Lord is not boring- neither is striving for virtue in this day and age. As my favorite author G.K. Chesterton said in 1901, "The act of defending any of the cardinal virtues has today all the exhilaration of a vice." In short, ladies, today's bad boy is actually the good boy. Not a day goes by where I'm not trying to learn something. While the topic could be anything, (it's usually theology) the main point is stimulating the intellect. Since boyhood I've always been curious about how things work and why things are. But, the more I learn the better I relate to Socrates' words about knowing that I know nothing. Could it be because I like to do reading that's over my head? (e.g. the Sunday funnies) While I take my faith very seriously, I'm generally a very-laid back guy. I enjoy making people laugh with my rapier wit. My interests are varied from sports to science to English comedy. I love talking with people about both everyday topics and meaningful subjects. Also, I'm an occasional pipe smoker when reading Catholic news or a challenging theological/philosophical work. A woman who allows me to enjoy an occasional pipe, I will in turn promise to watch any Jane Austen movie... and enjoy it! :) The things I find most meaningful in life are faith, family, friendships, food, and football- everything else is lagniappe. I have a love of the outdoors, gazing at night skies, reading & writing, Catholic apologetics, and the Traditional Latin Mass. I am unabashedly Catholic, obedient to the Church, and will defend Her unto death. If the Lord is calling me to marriage, I would eagerly take the role as spiritual leader of the household. At the moment, I'm very happy being single and am discerning my place in this world. It would be a blessing to meet new people and have fun. But, before I would ever seriously date or court a young lady, the question which would naturally arise is- how would this woman bring me close to God and how would I do the same for her? May Christ be praised, now and forever!
28, Scott, LAAfter converting 5 years ago, the Roman Catholic Church has been my main head over heels love interest. My deepest desire is to be a saint. I am no way close to this so I plead to St. John of the Cross and St. Thomas Aquinas and many others to help me. The only thing missing in my life is a family. The last man I dated left me for the priesthood. But he was a wonderful and respectful blessing though. I want a very simple life. If I could have my dream life brought to fruition I would be a mother of three boys and a girl, (and however many after that. Or, if God sees it fit for me to have one, I'm alright with that as well). I'd love to be a stay at home mom who takes my kids to daily mass and cook and clean for my husband for when he gets home. I'm quite weird. I love cleaning messes, organizing, and house chores. I was brought up by men of great holiness and flaws. I just want to fall in love with my best friend. I want him to make me laugh when I'm sad and joke when I'm too serious. A man that doesn't shy away from fruitful debate with me, even if we are at odds on the subject. Someone who cares more about what is right, as opposed to who is right. A man who challenges me intellectually and in break dance fighting, who also lets me beat him in chess. And especially a guy who can calm me down when I get too passionate about apologetics and the idiocy of relativism. Someone who can appreciate the depth of the suffering in himself and in others, and the Doctrine of universal collective responsibility for the state our fallen world is now in. I need him to understand profoundly the redemptive nature of suffering and how our crosses have the God given power to sanctify ourselves and others. Due to the state I'm now in I carry a very heavy heart. Chesterton says that angels can fly b/c they take themselves so lightly :) I love that man. He was a huge influence in my conversion. I'm obsessed with Middle Earth and want to bring up my family to live as hobbits...pure of heart and joyfully innocent. So, if you want to meet me, the best way to do so is to bring a chess board. Your move...:)
