67, Eunice, LAEasy Going. Probably too easy going...to a fault. Honest, sincere, a very good sence of humor. Extremely Catholic. I used to work in the Louisiana/Texas oilfields. I do have a Degree in Education. I gave up being a teacher a long time ago. I worked on a Master's Degree and never completed it. I have 4 wonderful children that are all grown up and 10 beautiful grandchildren ( 5boys, 5girls ). I even speak Cajun French and that is a language that is fading away. I believe very much in old school ways. I was, after all, brought up that way. Today I am recuperating from an oilfield related illness. Everything is coming along OK and recovery is constant.

66, New Orleans, LAI'm a native New Orleanian, raised in a traditional family, educated in parochial and Catholic High School, then went on to college where I got my B.A. in Sociology. Although I have not practiced in my field, I utilized the knowledge in my marketing and public service careers. I enjoy learning and, to me, life is an open book. I respect people who abide by the laws, are kind-hearted, considerate and responsible. I also love a stimulating conversation, good music, conviviality and, as we say in New Orleans, Laissez le Bon Temps Roule. I have close family ties despite being scatterred across the country and now the world. Makes for very interesting conversations. For a lady, I am handy and can hold my own with a sewing machine, a lost art. I try daily to "Walk the Walk".
61, Kenner, LAI look forward to going to Mass and fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I like to look at trees, plants, and animals and how they interact together. I like stringed instruments. I like praying the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy Daily. I enjoy meditating and contemplating on the Word of God by participation in Bible Studies or Ignatian Meditation. I try to pray a portion of the Liturgy of the Hours Prayers everyday. My mother, St. John Paul II, my pastors, Charismatic Renewal, Lord Teach Me To Pray, and my deacon best friend have been the most influential in my life. I am in the process of rediscovering my leisure time. For the past several years, I've been caregiving for my elderly parents. My father past away in 2012. Shortly, thereafter, my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She succombed to it eight months ago. I am getting my head together. I like a woman with a good sense of humor because I tend to make people laugh. I like to go on walks.
71, Harahan, LAI am new at this dating and I would like to find someone that would really love me and make a life with me.,and treat me right and respect and be honest and I will do the same
68, Baton Rouge, LAI am a Louisiana native and 68 years old. I am a veteran who served during the Vietnam era. I am a widower. My late wife and I were married for 46 blessed years and we loved each other dearly. We never had any children and therefore I don't have anyone left except distant nieces and nephews. If you are reading my profile and have children, I would welcome yours. I enjoy simple things in life, like cooking, fishing, yard work and growing vegetables on an amateur basis. I attend first Tuesday of the month Novena Mass and each Saturday Mass at 4 PM. For a part of my days I do watch the news, especially the financial ones. I am now at a point in my life where I have asked myself a lot of hard questions. My faith in the Good Lord has made me realize all that I have been given by Him and I give Him thanks for all that I have. I am the most thankful to Him for my late wife and our marriage for all those years. My wife passed away a year and a half ago, and I feel that I should now begin to seek someone and know she would want me to do that. I would have wanted the same for her if I had gone first. I am retired and very financially secure. I have two homes and have just resolved some legal issues on the second one I will ultimately move there. The one I have in Baton Rouge was in the record flood. I am navigating its repairs now. I will sell it when it is ready. I consider myself a regular looking fellow, not fat, thin on top, and have experienced mileage (LOL) aka some wear and tear. Been wearing eyeglasses pretty much since grade school. I am also a cancer survivor. My plans for the short term are to focus on my second home and get it repaired after winning a legal battle on its construction defects. I will begin to do some more fishing. Louisiana has been very blessed with this resource. Much of this very good fishing is within a short drive from both of my homes. I do sneak in a game of racquetball once or twice a week and shoot regularly on a billiards league team with APA. I am also an active Parrothead Club member. For those that never heard of the Parrothead term, we are dedicated fans of Jimmy Buffett and that style music. If you are interested in messaging me please do so. i would welcome your messages. With common interests and getting to know each other over time, hopefully one day she and i would fall in love and would finish our days together. p.s. cooking alone sucks!
65, Breaux Bridge, LABeing a former Marine shapes my entire outlook on life. My core beliefs center around duty, God, and country. I devoted 32 years of my life to my country. I'm very passionate about the United States, its people, and its Constitution. As far as leisure time I enjoy reading all manner of things, listening to music (primarily classical), working out, and messing around with computers. I also love nature and hiking, the sea (SCUBA diving and sailing), and learning more about survival. Also love to travel (my Dad always said I had itchy feet!). I look forward to continuing to learn and expand my knowledge for the rest of my life. The same goes for my faith in God and Christ. Most folks who know me well describe me as stoical. A close friend once gave me a framed quote by French philosopher Albert Camus which read: "Don't walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don't walk behind me, I may not lead. Just walk beside me and be my friend." Very apt description of me. Also if you're familiar with the Myers Briggs personality test I'm an INFP usually labelled the Crusader. Like Don Quixote I often enjoy tilting at windmills! I enjoy humor and levity. My own brand of humor tends to be of the dry, sometimes teasing variety. I'm a mischief maker and enjoy pulling pranks from time-to-time. I also have a domesticated side in that I love being at home part of the time. I know my way around the kitchen and enjoy helping out there. Also know how to clean house and regularly devote myself to keeping things shipshape. In many ways I'm a Renaissance man as I know a lot about many subjects and am conversant in them. I enjoy stimulating conversation, discussions, and debates. Given my beliefs I'd probably have been more at home in 18th century America.
74, Covington, LAI'm a Para Educator for St. Tammany school board. I love spending time with my children and grandchildren. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and good conversation.

I am widowed and do not want to be alone but with someone to share together the rest of time. I am caring and a good listener to all talks of life. Movies, dine out occasionally, coffee nights. Love to drive away to see the land it's beauty and someone at my side just enjoying the view. I have (2) homeless cats and (1) crazy dog. That's my family. I believe home staying at home enjoying a movie or football. My team is the Texans, I know in the wrong place but I also me being a Saint sometimes. 'I can sit in the patio seeing all the plants and enjoying a good cup of coffee and spending my time with someone. I could go on forever but I am simple and being equally with someone. I am korny but that me, full of surprises. I hope there is someone.
64, Thibodaux, LAI am an easy going person. I am also a true believer of sincerity. I expect to meet an honest person who can stand on his own words.
