I am intuitive and an idealist! I have many interests because I like to learn but I am most passionate about God, family, friends and living out my Faith in the world. I am not afraid to get involved in tough causes. I love to laugh, be out in Nature and to write and play music. I like to be active but I also appreciate times of solitude now and then.

Hi, I enjoy reading, dancing, running, mountain biking, hiking, golfing, camping, cooking, going out to dinner and good conversation. However, I like to be home to relax and recharge. I love living near the ocean where the weather is always a wonder. I look forward to spending time with my family and friends.

I live an active life; family, work, outdoors, spiritual life. Family focused, I have two grown daughters and a granddaughter who I love spending time with. Spiritual life is a central part of my life, am blessed to be part of a very supportive church community. Friends say I am quiet and easy going. They are probably right, they know me best. I am a skier, road biker, hiker, kayaker, and other things that get me outside. My primary indoor activity is woodworking, enjoy building furniture. I am pretty good at it, ( I still have all of my fingers). Looking forward to some new adventures and, God willing, perhaps someone to share them with.

I lost my wife in June of 2015. She died the day before our 45th anniversary after a three year battle with cancer. I have worked very hard at the grieving process. I attend daily Mass and walk two miles most days to reduce the stress of my loss and believe I have turned the corner. I miss the companionship and intimacy of my marriage. I like to spend Winters in Florida and would like to visit Western National Parks and cruise. I am a value shopper but my wife thought I would not get away with being so thrifty with a new wife. I enjoy hiking, building projects and growing tomatoes. I am handy around the house! My goal would be to marry a widow who had a strong marriage. My next wife should put her faith first and honor her first husband with her life as I will honor my first wife. I have two married daughters and seven amazing grandchildren ranging in age from 8 to 20. Both daughters live in Maine and were Chemical Engineers and married Chemical Engineers. Both daughters are able to stay home with their children and faith is a cornerstone of their families. I am working to have at least one of my grandchildren follow me as a Civil Engineer. I graduated from UNH in 1971. I retired in 2007 and had almost eight wonderful years in retirement before my wife's death.

I am a friendly, family-oriented person with healthy interests in the good things of life. I enjoy the natural world, visiting museums, churches, city sights, and the great outdoors. I like to read, stay abreast of current affairs, and learn new things and new skills. I appreciate meeting new people -- young and old alike -- and I am involved in some good activities in my community. I enjoy the four seasons of New England but find myself growing more partial to the summers and warm weather.
