48, Catonsville, MD+AMDG+ I'd say I'm a man who's defined first by my Catholic faith which I strive to live with fidelity and joy. I am an American patriot, and am very traditionally minded. I am loyal to my family and friends, honest to a fault, place great stock in personal integrity, and pursue all of my interests with gusto. My fourteen year old son, Ezra, is the greatest earthly joy of my life. I am also passionate about Christian education, politics, and music (Medieval, Renaissance, Scots-Irish, classical, bluegrass, and classic rock). I like to cook and am that rare breed of man who keeps a clean house, irons his own shirts, but will spend a Saturday shooting a game of paintball in the muddy woods with my son and his friends. I'm a voracious reader (history, lives of the saints, sci-fi, classics). Most mornings, I get up and thank God for the love of my work...I'm a Catholic educator currently teaching fifth grade at an independent Christian school. I see my work as a vital ministry and consider it a great privilege to be invested with such trust doing such incredibly important work. Obviously, being a devoted dad and teacher, I am deeply invested in young people and pretty good with kids!
47, Odenton, MDI am a poor sinner in need of God's mercy, seeking to do His will. I joyfully converted to the Church in 1999. I'm very active in Church, especially music ministry and as a Lay Dominican. On a more secular plane, I'm a mathematician. After getting my degree I moved to Maryland to work for the government; now I've gone back into teaching college-level math. Outside of work and Church, I keep myself out of trouble by singing in choirs and practicing Kung Fu.
25, Taneytown, MDI'll keep this short. I love the outdoors: scuba diving, kayaking, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing. I love science and almost anything to do with space. I like to read, but I'm a slow reader. My favorite genre is sci-fi and fantasy. I would rather have a few close friends than many friends.
32, Baltimore, MDI am 40% charmer 30% adorable 20% incorrigible and 10% nerd which makes me about 100% awesome. I love to laugh. Being a good and faithful friend without expectation is important to me. I really enjoy wine and beer and coffee...and food. I never want to run another race in my life. The answer is always "yes" for a roadtrip. Throwing parties is a passion of mine and love board games. God has really blessed me with amazing friends and family.
48, Baltimore, MDI'm not looking for prince charming. But after being on this site since January and having met no one, I'm wondering what is it about my profile that turns men away? What is it that I have said - or didn't say - that keeps men from responding? Personally, I'd rather have a "thank you" or hear that we're not a match than to be viewed and ignored. This site should be better than secular sites, right? If you wouldn't mind, could you take a moment and tell me what prevents you from having a conversation with me? If it's something I can improve within my profile, that could be valuable information. Thank you. I am an active, practicing Catholic; and my faith is central to my life. I love enjoying the gifts God has blessed us with in this life here on earth: nature, music, art, creativity, history, etc. My life has taught me a lot; and I especially learned much about marriage through my divorce. Sounds contrary, but the experience and subsequent healing forced me to explore what God designed marriage to be, not what I thought it was. I have learned that it's more about giving than getting; it's more about serving my husband than it is about how happy he can make me; it's more about taking care of each other and helping each other on our journey to heaven than anything else. This means I will want to know how I can help you each day; and how I can pray for you. I will want to help you be the man God created you to be. I want to be the girlfriend/wife that holds your hand, gives you hugs, listens to your stories and stresses, supports your dreams, and rubs the stress from your shoulders. I stated that I have a few extra pounds, which is true, but I am actively working to change that (and I'd love to continue working on that with my partner), so it's not something that will be permanent. In fact, I have lost over 50 lbs since I first started paying attention. I enjoy walking and hiking. I used to swim, play tennis, and play volleyball; and I wouldn't mind trying these again. I also purchased a used bike last year, so I'd like to start doing some riding as well. I also said I can't relocate. For the most part that is true; however, I might be able to get that decision changed under the right circumstances.

I graduated with my Master's and am working full time while working on my PhD. I love what I do and am good at it. 23, Emmitsburg, MDHi, I'm Chris. I am currently a senior at Mount St. Mary's University; double majoring in criminal justice and sociology. I will be pursuing 2 master degrees starting this coming fall, one in cyber security and a second in computer forensics. I am a very laid back kinda guy, I was raised in a small country town. I have a passion for helping people, which I found when I became a volunteer firefighter 6 years ago. Firefighting is basically my life when I have free time (which is not often during senior year of college). The fire service has become one of the most influential parts of my life. My senior research project focuses on the impact of mental health stigma in the fire service. This project is very close to my heart and I am so blessed to be able to publish this research next summer with a big publisher. I asked God to let me do one really big/good thing before I graduate, and I believe this is what He had in mind for me. I am hoping to continue this topic area with my Master's Thesis and possible a Ph.D. dissertation. If you want to know anything about me, just ask.
