My primary goal in this life is to make it to heaven, and to bring as many of my friends along with me! I am still trying to figure out how... I know the path is there, but sometimes it isn't the easiest to follow. It is tough to love one's enemies... I've been studying my Catholisism a lot lately, including Theology of the Body, and varoius other theological books. I do think of Marriage as a vocation, and have been building my "nest" to support a family. I have a great example in the strength and faith my Parents, who now live in Florida. I grew up in a Navy family, and have lived around the country. I attended the Naval Academy, and spent 5 1/2 years in the Marine Corps. I've been working in the Computer/Communications industry, supporting customers throughout the world. I've moved around a bit, in 2003 to the Portland Oregon area. I enjoy all the friends I have met here in MCF (Metro Catholic Fellowoship). I am close to my family, I have 6 little nieces , 4 god-daughters, and would like to have children (They all ask me why I am not married, and don't have kids... hard one to answer). I think of myself as "classically normal", a gentleman and a pretty nice guy. I am a "dog" guy (I guess this site calls it Sanguine), I'm pretty laid back, and like to have fun with friends.

Hey folks I'm a guy who's just starting out, nothing fancy. Low maintenance, low budget and no nonsense. I am zonked out by the hours work has required of me hence the no maintenance. The last couple of years have been rough and uneventful and I have overlived.

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm a software engineering manager from the Baltimore/Washington D.C. area. I love art and music, reading and learning, and spending time with good friends. I like running in the morning, swimming, and otherwise staying active. I was born and raised Catholic, and I am hoping to meet someone who shares the same beliefs and morals. God has blessed me so richly, and the only thing missing from my life is someone with whom to share it.

I'm most passionate about learning new and exciting things! I've. Learned, over the years, about Italy and coffee, I've learned to brew beer and wine, Ive studied philosophy and the mind. Currently I'm teaching myself French and the violin. Calligraphy is an interest of mine, and I love exploring beauty, whether in art, fashion, or music. I've never thought of myself as interesting, but the world is full of so much, how could I resist exploring it?

As someone in hard pursuit of a fascinating PhD in cancer cell biology, I must admit that I currently spend a good deal of time in a laboratory. But wait! I'm not a crazy scientist, and not just because I can no longer pull off the Einstein look, haha! Although research can indeed be a exacting mistress, I endeavor to live a holistic lifestyle: one which is undoubtedly active, but contemplative first! Ordinarily, I like for my shenanigans to reflect life's own variety and thrill. Even my musical tastes are eclectic - and dare I say it? - my dancing feet electric. ;) I relish adventure, and delight in the opportunity to survey new places: anything from a bustling city to a luscious forest! In the nearby DC, for example, the incredible Basilica is my only fixture; otherwise, find me exploring an outlandish locale or sampling an exotic cuisine, a la Anthony Bourdain! :D While I derive considerable pleasure from all of these good things, there is one great enterprise for which I reserve a special affection: personal discourse. I love talking to people, and my favorite conversations are metaphysical and natural, silly and witty, all at the same time. And since the best discussions necessarily span the whole spectrum of life, they will often refer back to God in a natural way; after all, what facet of Creation does He not cradle in His loving Hands? :)

My passion practice more doctrine would be a better Christian. My experience to people once pleasant sometimes incomprehensible. And many of those times for material things. Sad because we live in an increasingly materialistic world.

Hi, I'm Chris. I am currently a senior at Mount St. Mary's University; double majoring in criminal justice and sociology. I will be attending Sacred Heart Univerity for a masters degree in cyber security after graduation. I am a very laid back kinda guy, I was raised in a small country town. I have a passion for helping people, which I found when I became a volunteer firefighter 6 years ago. Firefighting is basically my life when I have free time (which is not often during senior year of college). The fire service has become one of the most influential parts of my life. My senior research project focuses on the impact of mental health stigma in the fire service. This project is very close to my heart and I am so blessed to be able to publish this research next summer with a big publisher. I asked God to let me do one really big/good thing before I graduate, and I believe this is what He had in mind for me. I am hoping to continue this topic area with my Master's Thesis and possible a Ph.D. dissertation. If you want to know anything about me, just ask.

Hi there! I'm Hannah. In brief, I love family, animals, Latin Mass, and a simple life. I am a writer, photographer, and artist, and I enjoy gardening, cooking, being outside, and reading a good book. I am here to meet people, make some friends, have some good conversations, and if something more grows from that, then God's will be done!

Hello, I'm a young man who spent the last few years discerning a vocation to the religious life. I am passionate about prayer, theology, philosophy, poetry, woodworking, and working outdoors when the mood suits me. I am an introvert so I don't mind spending a bit of time alone. I like to get together with a few friends and just wander around talking with them.

This is always the most difficult part, but here goes.... I think my recently deceased parents have been the most influential people in my life (mostly for the better). They are right up there with the priest(s) who helped me find my way back to the Catholic Church in 2011. For my leisure time, I do very much enjoy exploring different parts of the world (a gift my parents gave me) though can be just as happy staying in a Benedictine or Trappist Abbey for a week. Both my parents were born in Germany, so it goes without saying that I need long walks (preferably in the forest, though the Delaware seashore will do just fine) for spiritual and physical refreshment, but that has been sorely lacking recently. Finally, although my job is not the totally of my life, I am grateful for the opportunities provided by my work to make a positive contribution to the public health. I'm afraid anything else I write might end up sounding cliched. I was once described as "exuberant introvert" and so would much rather discuss my faith, priorities, hopes, fears, family etc. in person.
