53, Crownsville, MDMy primary goal in this life is to make it to heaven, and to bring as many of my friends along with me! I am still trying to figure out how... I know the path is there, but sometimes it isn't the easiest to follow. It is tough to love one's enemies... I've been studying my Catholisism a lot lately, including Theology of the Body, and varoius other theological books. I do think of Marriage as a vocation, and have been building my "nest" to support a family. I have a great example in the strength and faith my Parents, who now live in Florida. I grew up in a Navy family, and have lived around the country. I attended the Naval Academy, and spent 5 1/2 years in the Marine Corps. I've been working in the Computer/Communications industry, supporting customers throughout the world. I've moved around a bit, in 2003 to the Portland Oregon area. I enjoy all the friends I have met here in MCF (Metro Catholic Fellowoship). I am close to my family, I have 6 little nieces , 4 god-daughters, and would like to have children (They all ask me why I am not married, and don't have kids... hard one to answer). I think of myself as "classically normal", a gentleman and a pretty nice guy. I am a "dog" guy (I guess this site calls it Sanguine), I'm pretty laid back, and like to have fun with friends.
48, Catonsville, MD+AMDG+ I'd say I'm a man who's defined first by my Catholic faith which I strive to live with fidelity and joy. I am an American patriot, and am very traditionally minded. I am loyal to my family and friends, honest to a fault, place great stock in personal integrity, and pursue all of my interests with gusto. My fourteen year old son, Ezra, is the greatest earthly joy of my life. I am also passionate about Christian education, politics, and music (Medieval, Renaissance, Scots-Irish, classical, bluegrass, and classic rock). I like to cook and am that rare breed of man who keeps a clean house, irons his own shirts, but will spend a Saturday shooting a game of paintball in the muddy woods with my son and his friends. I'm a voracious reader (history, lives of the saints, sci-fi, classics). Most mornings, I get up and thank God for the love of my work...I'm a Catholic educator currently teaching fifth grade at an independent Christian school. I see my work as a vital ministry and consider it a great privilege to be invested with such trust doing such incredibly important work. Obviously, being a devoted dad and teacher, I am deeply invested in young people and pretty good with kids!
30, Glyndon, MDFirst off, the faith is everything- colors and informs everything else. Always looking for ways to improve and grow, and really appreciate having others around who encourage that. I am definitely an introvert but that seems to surprise most people- I do just fine in social situations, get along very well with people, make friends easily, just love the quieter reflective times to recharge. I love music- I've done a good bit of recording, mostly background vocals on friends' albums. Definitely a fun thing to do and an experience you can't get any other way in terms of creativity and discipline and vulnerability and self-reflection and criticism. I love baseball, especially the Orioles- got season tickets this year. I also love history- ever seen Ken Burns' Baseball series? Its on Netflix, very good. Also on Netflix- Ultimate Guide to the Presidents. Oh, also, I love Netflix. I recently put a contract on my first house, settling in a few weeks. Really excited for that, definitely feeling like a grown up! Looking forward to whatever God sends next.

My family have always been my greatest influence , keeping me grounded, humble and also giving me a purpose to keep striving to be the best in whatever I do.
32, Halethorpe, MDI'm most passionate about learning new and exciting things! I've learned, over the years, about Italy and coffee, I've learned to brew beer and wine, I've studied philosophy and the mind. Currently I'm teaching myself French and the violin. Calligraphy is an interest of mine, and I love exploring beauty, whether in art, literature, or music. The world is full of so much, how could I resist exploring it?
37, Ellicott City, MDI am a humble but highly driven Catholic girl. I love to go to mass first thing in the morning & thereafter take my day as it comes. I am very humble at heart and extremely compassionate. I like all kinds of music: gospel and secular alike. My current favorite genre of music is country music. I like the outdoors but wouldn't bemoan staying indoors to relax on a weekend.
24, Ellicott City, MDHi there! I'm Hannah. In brief, I love family, animals, Latin Mass, and a simple life. I am a writer, photographer, and artist, and I enjoy gardening, cooking, being outside, and reading a good book. I am here to meet people, make some friends, have some good conversations, and if something more grows from that, then God's will be done!
28, Westminster, MDHello new here and looking to give this online thing a try. I have high hope in this website because my best friend found his soul mate on here two years ago. So I am pretty excited more about me and pictures to follow shortly
44, Silver Spring, MDThis is always the most difficult part, but here goes.... I think my recently deceased parents have been the most influential people in my life (mostly for the better). They are right up there with the priest(s) who helped me find my way back to the Catholic Church in 2011. For my leisure time, I do very much enjoy exploring different parts of the world (a gift my parents gave me) though can be just as happy staying in a Benedictine or Trappist Abbey for a week. Both my parents were born in Germany, so it goes without saying that I need long walks (preferably in the forest, though the Delaware seashore will do just fine) for spiritual and physical refreshment, but that has been sorely lacking recently. Finally, although my job is not the totally of my life, I am grateful for the opportunities provided by my work to make a positive contribution to the public health. I'm afraid anything else I write might end up sounding cliched. I was once described as "exuberant introvert" and so would much rather discuss my faith, priorities, hopes, fears, family etc. in person.
20, Catonsville, MDJust trying to see if there are any other Catholics out there. I like all kinds of things. I like adventure of any sort and I'm passionate about music. I think I have a sense of humor and I try to only take the important things in life seriously.
