32, Baltimore, MDI recently passed the eight year mark in my job contracting for the federal government. I like it pretty well...there's variety in the work, and most people I work with, like me, understand that work is not the most important part of life. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2007, after taking some time off from school to work in Richmond, VA and then spend four months in Italy. Then i went to grad school/started working full time. I guess I should also mention that I'm an internationally-recognized award-winning chef. It's true: I was on TV in Canada for my winning entry in the Cicada Cook-off a couple years ago. The two greatest compliments I've ever received: "Everything you do is tainted by your Catholicism." and "You have a very soothing voice. You should be a 9-1-1 operator." Unfortunately, I'm not sure that either is true, but they made me laugh at the time. Also, I live in Baltimore, so that's fun.
32, Fallston, MDI'm interested in meeting someone who is easygoing with a cool sense of humor! People say I have good insight into people, and great judgment and common sense! I really enjoy attending mass with my family. I take good pride in my Catholic faith. Aside from that, I work full time and have taken 6 courses at the community college when I had spare time, Spanish, and 1 Algebra course. I was planning to become proficient in the Spanish language so I took classes, and joined groups where I could practice speaking due to the fact that I have some Spanish speaking people in my work field. I was also trying to rebuild my math skills in the algebra course. But I now have taken a break from that for now. I also like to go to movies, keep fit and hang out with my family. I enjoy meeting new people and getting together with friends, doing volunteer work in my church, when it has a special event.
31, Frederick, MDA little about myself: I'm an educated IT Professional from The University of Toledo. (2 AAB, 1 BAS) Presently I work for an internet service provider as a Senior IT Infrastructure analyst. I recently moved to the area as of October 2016 for a new job / change of venue from Cleveland, OH. I love to travel and explore new places and have done so solo many times. (yes i've even taken a cruise by myself and had a blast) but i'm on this site to find someone to have fun enjoying life with and traveling. Many of my friends are married now and that is a goal of mine someday but to be honest I want to find my new best friend and see where things go. I'd love to visit Europe, and Australia, Vatican City, and the West Coast of the US. I enjoy parks and museums, I also enjoy staying in and watching movies at home but I get antsy when I'm stuck at home. I always want to find something fun to do outside or away from home. Bicycling, Swimming, Camping, Hiking, Driving to random points of interest, and volunteering are things I like to do to burn excess energy.
31, Catonsville, MDMy ten facts list: 1) I own the most active dog in the world, Pepper. She and I hiked a week of the Appalachian Trail together last summer, and I would love to do it again. 2) I went to the University of Notre Dame, so football is my second religion. 3) I have done 4 half marathons, and I plan on doing another in a few months, but I don't think I'd ever do a full marathon! 4) I grew up "church-hopping" - not different faiths, but different parishes. I have probably been to about 8 different churches in our area somewhat regularly. 5) My church choir's motto is "sing loud, sing wrong". I fulfill both. 6) My Bachelor's degree is in architecture. I worked in it for a while, but I'm glad I don't do it anymore. I have a lot of respect for architects! 7) I don't care that much about TV. My roommate controls the remote, so I watch whatever she turns on, but I do keep up with Game of Thrones. 8) I'm not a very girly girl, but I do enjoy cooking. I don't do much baking though. 9) When they asked what color car I had on my parking pass form, I wrote, "ugly". They didn't ask what that meant, and just gave me the pass. 10) On my list of places to travel I have Macchu Picchu, Peru; Meteora, Greece, Indonesia, Thailand, and England. One of my college roommates was from Indonesia and I've never been. I did get scuba certified at one point, so going diving in some really cool areas would be an amazing trip. I hope that gives you some ideas about me and my interests!
23, Baltimore, MDMy name is Patricia and I'm a paralegal in the heart of Baltimore. I came back to my Catholic roots after my freshmen year of college through the intersession of our Lady of Guadalupe. I love the law and hope to work with victims of domestic violence someday. I like to explore Baltimore, especially taco joints and breweries, but don't discriminate against pizza, burgers, etc. I come from a family of six kids, all of whom I am thankful to call my best friends. Someday, I plan to be on the Supreme Court, overturn Roe v. Wade, and then retire on the beach.
23, Hagerstown, MDHi! Thanks for checking out my profile. I am a 4th grade teacher and absolutely love my job! When I'm not teaching in my classroom, I'm working on my M.Ed. which I'll hopefully finish in a couple years. In my personal time I love to be outside: camping, walking/running, etc. I also love going out with my friends to a fair or just hanging out with a night on the town. I thought I would try this online to meet more people that share my ideals and interests - I am really looking for a best friend that I will be able to laugh with and share this amazing life with! Looking forward to many adventures :)
28, Darnestown, MDHey there! My name is Tom and I am very interested in finally meeting some like minded people! Its a pretty tough thing to do these days. Can't wait to meet you!
19, Damascus, MDI had hoped to think of something clever and engaging to start my profile, but this sentence was the best I could do. I have a really hard time writing about myself in general, so please excuse this section. I enjoy listening to records, spending all day in museums, wandering through the forest, acting, reading classic literature (when I have the time), and watching murder mysteries. I am proficient in Spanish (but I need to practice!) and hope to learn other languages in the future. I have always wanted to learn the names of plants and rocks, and my favorite color is red.
29, Rockville, MDHi! I enjoy being outdoors, photography, hanging out with my daughter, and volunteering in my spare time. I'm looking to branch out of my comfort zone and meet new people. I consider myself a blonde, but my hair is actually brown, and I switch up the color and cut A LOT.
34, Columbia, MDI consider myself very family-oriented, and workaholic. Fun to talk to I'm told. Excuse me for "pretending" to be a smart ass once in awhile (or really often, depends :D) I love being with the crowd, but not being the center of it. Also, I'm not as good with words as i am with numbers. So it's a real struggle for me to describe myself here. I think real communication would show my true color much better. So, let me know if you are ready for a new friend :)
22, Annapolis, MDI'm a fun loving tom boy with a girly side, I am a fan of the Avengers, and my dream is to one day own a horse that I can ride every day. When I want to have fun, I like to go swing dancing with my friends. I love the energy of swing music and the social atmosphere! The thing I am really into and what really gets me into a mind flow state is drawing. If I can't think of anything to draw, I'll just connect a bunch of tiny circles together into intricate patters until I run out of room, haha. I don't think tracing is cheating and I believe drawing with correct proportions is of the utmost importance (unless it's a cartoon) I like spending time with people who like to work on projects and sit quietly and also like to have boisterous conversations over coffee or dinner. I'm hoping to meet someone with a lot of energy and a love of life!
22, Elkridge, MDTwo things that I have always been interested in have been the biological sciences and languages. I love talking about science and healthcare, I also love learning about different cultures and languages. I have been studying Spanish in college and have been trying to pick up a bit of French, Hungarian and Irish on my own. I want to build relationships with people whose lives differ greatly from my own through travel and the connection of language. It is important to have goals in life and mine is to seek what is true, good and beautiful. I like to read, play guitar, make youtube videos and learn languages.
