28, Riva, MDFirst in foremost in my life is my faith. God has certainly put me through the ringer a few times but each time I've come out with more love for Him and am eternally grateful for all the wonderful gifts He's given me in a loving family and incredible friends. I'm a little behind the curve here as I just started working towards a degree in Physical Therapy and I couldn't be more excited. I suffered a terrible back injury awhile ago which I think was a blessing in disguise. I went from not being able to walk to getting back to my old self, and I was amazed. I want to give that feeling to other people and truly believe that God is calling me to this. As your usual guy I'm a sports fan, baseball and football are my thing; Orioles and Ravens all day! In my spare time I also like to golf whenever I can. I love it because it's the only sport I know of where you're really only competing against yourself. Another big interest of mine is meteorology. I've always been fascinated by weather, love thunderstorms and love chasing them when it's safe to do such. Last but probably should be first on my list is my passion for music. And I think passion may border on obsession. I can't go a single day without listening, playing, or trying to write. Sometimes the one perfect song can dissolve one of the worst days you've ever had. I've been a guitarist for 8+ years and would love to pursue a career in music, ideally in a worship band. God has given me a great gift of which I would love to share and spread His message of love to as many as possible through music. It's the best way I can repay Him for all He has given me. I also play and teach in my church's youth choir. I'll just end this here I think. Anything else you might want to know, just ask.
47, Silver Spring, MDHi -- Here's just a little about myself and what I am seeking. I am fairly quiet, with a wide variety of interests (arts and music mostly). I have never married but have had a couple longer-term relationships and always have had the goal to one day get married. Well, the time apparently was delayed for a while, but I still have hope and I believe that this site could be helpful in meeting someone. I currently live in Forest Glen, near the metro, and really like the neighborhood. During the day, of course I am working most of the time (at a government agency). At night, I try to fill my time by volunteering or taking a course in an interesting subject, whether it be in the arts or a language. I am very interested in meeting someone who likes people, is compassionate and intelligent. I have a lot of respect for people who can make good decisions. I also really want to have a soul mate who would like to share in experiencing new adventures, whether traveling in another country or just for a night out on the town.
63, La Plata, MDI am passionate about traveling to new places and meeting new people. I am going on a pilgrimage to Portugal and Spain this June! I love to cook and in my free time I like to find a new recipe to try. I used to like baking but I am taking it easy on the sweets, so I am into cooking savory meals. I also love to read so I always have a book waiting on my Kindle. When I am not working, I go to daily Mass. I am discerning the third order of Carmelites. I've done biathlon, triathlon, Century bike rides and did the Marine Corps Marathon. While in Hawaii I got a massage and the gal pushed my leg down with severe force and tore some muscles in my leg. I am in the process of healing. Just got on the treadmill and walked a slow mile; looking forward to getting on the bike trainer. I love the ocean! I must confess that I collect seashells where ever I go!!
53, Bowie, MDI have been a Catholic all my life. I went to Catholic schools all my life. I was educated by the ICM sisters from Belgium, the Benedictine nuns from Germany, and the Jesuits from the US. I have been an educator all my life. Molding the minds of the young. At present, I have ventured out in fulfilling one of my bucket list and that is to be involved in real estate. I like to learn new things and try new things in life. In fact, just to overcome my fear of water I'll be going on a cruise with my daughter this summer. Anyway, life is made up of choices. I choose to stay positive in all circumstances as much as possible. I can tell you more about myself. Drop me a note. Let's take it from there. Thank you for taking the time to getting to know me. Have a blessed search!
49, Bethesda, MDHello there, my name is Kimberly...I am not a BIIIG social media fan but when I last went to Confession, an important priest in my life recommended this...sooooo voila, here goes! Passion is essential in life...both vocationally and otherwise. For me that may manifest itself in cooking a good meal for, and with those that I love, to enjoying the outdoors, or travelling....Regardless...do it with passion and purpose! Big influences in my life: My Mother (in the photo with me,) My Dad and extended family, amazing priests that have walked my spiritual journey with me, and my friends. I have some girlfriends with whom I have laughed, cried, cheered, and celebrated with-- for decades, of, AND FOR that I am truly, and eternally grateful! I grew up within the Anglican tradition, and still love many parts of that liturgy. Over time, I felt a calling in my heart to move farther to the right. I went to an all girl's boarding school and the girls that went to church with regularity were mostly the Catholic Girls. So the pull goes way back. One of my dear priest friends says of me, "You have always been Catholic, the church just had to catch up...." Very, very kind comment. To that end, I have been blessed to watch several friends, become priests! Because I am a convert, like many, the church holds even more meaning for me. Mass is part of my day to day routine, not because I feel like I am checking off a perfunctory list of antiquated rules, but rather because of the grace and strength I feel when I am there, and the renewed passion I have after leaving. In essence, it helps me to be a better person. Leisure time...I adore travel, and think it helps get us-- out of ourselves! I have been fortunate enough to have trekked The Camino and in Peru. I love any sort of travel, air, land and sea....I run, play tennis (albeit not very well, I do adore the game itself...) enjoy my small doggie (she is also in the photos somewhere as she has been a huge blessing in my life....) I love theater and all the arts! From Broadway to ballet and a symphonic dash thrown in for good measure, I love music, art and almost all things with a cultural bent. Christian bands like Third Day rank high on my hit parade, and to just chill I do yoga and listen to alternative beats. Love foreign films, ethnic foods, and running barefoot on the beach. Without boring anyone anymore, I will bid adieu! Blessings, light, and above all...His amazing, abiding, and abundant love!!!
26, Baltimore, MDHey! I'm Curt, a southern Pennsylvania native moving to the Baltimore area in a couple months after I leave the military. I'm a really passionate, social, and outgoing person. Laughter is a big part of who I am, as well as my faith. In my free time I like to hang out with friends and family, read, go outside for an adventure, exercise, study languages, and so much more. My parents have been a very influential part of my life. Their marriage is an ideal I hope to live up to someday. I find it hard to describe myself this way, so the best way to get to know me is in person!

26, Germantown, MDOne thing I am very passionate about is getting to know people on a personal level. I love to ask a question and then sit back and just listen and absorb what a girl is saying to me. I believe we all want someone who wants to listen to us and I genuinely enjoy being that person for people. In my free time I like to hit the gym, watch some Netflix, maybe grab some sushi and just hang out with good people. I have a phenomenal support system that is my family, whom I am very close with and also consider my grandparents to be two of my best friends. We are extremely close and I thank God all the time that I have been blessed with parents and grandparents as good and supportive as them. They have made it so I never have to hesitate if I need someone to talk to or fall back on in tough times, and I like to think that I have been there for them as well. I do look forward to meeting someone who can share in the same joys and interests as me. I am a massive fan of the show Friends, and if you are too, it will make sense that I'm looking for my lobster.
