I've always considered myself an introvert, although people who know me consider me an extrovert. Socializing is difficult for me, although I enjoy attending social activities. I usually participate more by helping at social events. [Talking about myself in abstraction is difficult. I find it much easier to answer specific questions in an active dialog.] I enjoy hiking and biking. {more to be added later} - I'm a shy person who doesn't play bar dating games, and is therefore still single. Friends and co-workers say that I'm fun to be with and seem to be outgoing, however, I find it hard to meet new people. - I attend Mass every week and every Holyday; I don't appreciate the loss of understanding and exercise of minor ritual in church: bowing rather than genuflecting, standing rather than kneeling, boisterous greetings prior to Mass rather than quiet prayer and respect. - I enjoy out-of-doors activities: hiking, canoeing, bicycling; but also reading, theatre, learning. - I like working with my hands, helping friends with handy-man type things, or perusing a book on timber-frame houses; but, I also like to read a good book on current theories in cosmology or string theory, or psychology of interpersonal relationships. (This is no joke! We could chat about my most recent reading.)- I'm sometimes too easy to get along with, seeming to not make decisions on activities, because to me it's more important to enjoy the people with whom I'm doing something over the activity itself. - I would love to take ballroom dancing lessons with a permanent partner.

Hello, and welcome to my Catholic Match profile. My Faith is part of my daily life and I share it at work, in my parish, in my community, with my friends and with my family. In my parish I help to lector and serve at Mass. As a member of the Legion of Mary I help with the Communion services at the local nursing homes. I am also a member of the Knights of Columbus. I pray with and for my family, friends and colleagues at work. My large family (including fifteen nieces and nephews) brings me great joy and many laughs. I enjoy bicycle touring, hiking, and traveling. I also enjoy visiting and praying at the beautiful shrines in our country and around the world. Some of the beautiful shrines I have visited include the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal and St. Josephs Oratory in Canada. I have felt Gods peace while praying and strolling the grounds at all of the shrines I have visited. I hope one day to stroll hand in hand with the one I love at the next shrine we visit.

I am an educated, professional guy that enjoys travelling with friends, either internationally or locally. I recently spent 4 days in beautiful Central Oregon cycling, rafting and actually took a glider flight! I enjoy going places and doing things. I also enjoy cycling, motorcycling, sandy beaches, great food with great friends. It is the experiences that make life wonderful and interesting. All of the above would be much more fun with someone of similar interests and passions. Is it you? Let’s find out?

The first thing you should probably know about me is that I'm a huge history dork. My degrees are in history and archaeology. I'm currently working as a Visitor Guide at the US Capitol, but I've previously worked as a park ranger, archivist and archaeologist. Pretty much as long as I get to work with old stuff I'm happy, but I really like when I get to share my interest in history with other people through interpretation. I haven't dated much but now that I've got a stable job in my field I feel confident enough to give it another go. So here I am. This is me. Or as much of me as can be conveyed on-line. There's more going on here than you might think. I differentiate between cartoons and anime. I don't really do classical but I love soundtracks. I like to people watch because I'm constantly developing stories in my head. My family is the cornerstone of my life and my church has always been my safe place. I've lived about 5 years in Britain non-consecutively and fully intend to return for another visit soon. My sense of humor is very British, but more on the side of Terry Prachett than Monty Python. I like cultures and how they interact and change each other. I'm willing to try anything once unless it involves tentacles. No denizens of the deep please. I'll take Disney over horror any day, and I always root for the happy ending (not necessarily the same happy ending as appears in the movie but still...). If I want tragedy then I'll watch the news. I read "Great Books" just to see what the fuss is about. I love a good debate but I dislike things getting too political. And apparently I'm in the mood for stream of consciousness run-on sentences. Hopefully perfect grammar isn't your sticking point. If you've reached this far then obviously you read something you liked so please send a message and we can have a chat about Prachett, Python or practically anything else that struck your fancy. Apparently I've a thing for alliteration too, but at least you're forewarned now.

I grew up in a very close knit family and my family is still really important to me. I am the second oldest of 5 kids. I have one sister who is my best friend and 3 brothers that I would do anything for. I have my bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Maryland and I worked in the education department of the Baltimore Zoo for 3 years. I left there at the end of 2009 to move to Australia to complete my master's degree in Marine Biology. I lived there for 2 years and recently moved back close to home again. I am currently a Marine Biology and Chemistry teacher at a Catholic high school and I love it. I enjoy traveling to discover new places and experience new things. I am sort of an adventurer but also really enjoy just staying home and reading a good book or watching a classic old movie. I am a certified rescue scuba diver and love pretty much anything that has to do with the beach or the ocean. I enjoy boating, hiking, camping and pretty much most outdoor activities. I grew up playing soccer and softball (and even tried rugby while living in Australia) and have coached a few of my younger brothers sports. I like to stay active and try to challenge myself to acomplish new things. I have participated in two triathalons, one in the US and one in Australia, but I am not overly obsessed with fitness. I like to do challenging things more to prove to myself that I can do them, than for any other reason.

Hi! My name is Mary. I was born in DC and raised in Maryland. I'm very close with my family and friends and they mean the world to me. I have a one year old beautiful goddaughter/niece of whom I love dearly! She melts my heart :) I graduated from Towson University in 2012 with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education and began teaching Kindergarten in Howard County shortly there after. However, I decided that teaching wasn't really for me, so I have been taking college courses in design/marketing and am currently pursuing a position in the marketing/design field. I am really excited to see what 2016 has in store for me :) I am a spontaneous person and love traveling. I have been to most states on the east coast and am hoping to one day make my way out west. I have also traveled to Costa Rica as part of a study abroad trip several years ago; It was truly a wonderful and humbling experience. I grew up in a large Italian family and my Catholic faith is very important to me. I pray often and do my best to trust in God and follow his path that he has laid out for me. If you think you would like to get to know me a little bit better, feel free to message me! I look forward to hearing from you :) P.S. I am a huge Disney fan!

I am quite passionate about life, family and enterprise, having been to only three continents I have grasped a few lessons about life. I always look forward to meeting new ideas and people that can challenge me in different ways but most of all I anticipate meeting that one special partner that I can spend a lifetime with ( I am not so much into looks or status nor do I expect perfection, but rather someone hardworking/ambition focused; someone with whom we can raise a family and be best friends!!!) . I pursued my undergraduate degree in Kenya and majored in nursing (of-course as inspired by my mom), and was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to come to the states to pursue an MBA in healthcare management. to cut the story short I am a nurse working in down town Baltimore (and I love every bit of it) My mother is the greatest inspiration in my life, she has instilled the great value of hard work and love in me. My grandmother who leaves in Africa (Uganda) did quite a job at fine tuning me into the man that i am today and I love her beyond imagination. long story short, I come from an extended family and the most influential lesson I learned was to be my brothers keeper and sharing my breakfast with whoever missed there's. I love traveling and spending time with family. I do love painting on canvas, though I am currently very busy to slow down for now. I guess you will have to get to know me for the real picture.!!!

Happy 2016! I enjoy meaningful conversations, good food (I LOVE to cook also) and a good laugh. I love laughing and can totally do so at myself. I workout 5-6x a week. Shaun T. has been hooking me up... Haha! I'm looking for someone who I could possibly grow, do fun, exciting and stupid things with. I would really love to travel around the world (starting with Europe...Italy? Spain? Belgium? Germany?...maybe? What do you think?) with that special Mister. Are you him? ;o) If you're worthy, I just might workout and/or travel with you. ;o) I would like to build a friendship firstly. Secondly, maybe that friendship will develop into something more..........Who knows? Ultimately, i'm looking for something substantial/long term and have no interest in playing games. If you think/feel we might have a connection, i'd like to hear from you :o) xoxo

Hello, I am Wil. I am naturally shy and soft spoken, at first. Often confused with being too serious, but get to know me and the slightly sarcastic, nerdy, goofiness comes out and we'll have fun. I like road trips, theme parks, movies, eating out, and the occasional historic tour; got to always keep learning something right? I love my family, enjoy quality time with friends, and recently discovered a passion for flying. A man of few words, sure, but who says thats a bad thing?

I am an Orthodox Roman Catholic. Nonetheless, lol, I'm funny, cool, and easy-going! I enjoy my life (= I'm not a "Cafeteria" Catholic. I respect authenticity in ppl, and I love ppl!. Most of the time, I am caring, happy, kooky but balanced and always striving to improve myself. I teach, love travel, hiking, dancing, and am interested in apologetics. My interest is always sparked by an intellectual, witty, tall, good character-ed Christian gentleman. Im in a local biking and hiking club inactive member, but I'm about to rev it up- BAM!!! So, drop me a "Hello" or a friendly "How-do-ya-do?" and have a great, successful day! May Jesus Christ Our Lord bless us! Amen (-= #pickyAboutGentleman So Why no pic???

Hey Ladies! I'm a pretty laid back guy looking for my personality and spiritual compliment. I am interested in dating, but I am looking for the wonderful woman that compliments me. I enjoy live music and good conversation, but I also enjoy a good hike or ATV ride. I am very competitive and I like a woman that can be a great opponent and teammate all at the same time. Chivalry is alive and well and I hope to meet the classy lady for me. Thanks for stopping by.
