Currently I am a fourth grade teacher in a Catholic school. In the past I have worked in state government in the field of education and assisted children who were removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect. I try to be involved in jobs that make a difference for others. Personally I have a great family and group of friends who I enjoy spending time with. I like to be active and outside especially during the Spring, Summer and Fall. I love good conversation, travel, reading, movies, music, sports, history, spending time with friends, going for walks, spiritual activities and working with kids. I enjoy going out with friends as well as quiet nights at home. I like to explore both the city and the country. I enjoy animals, particularly dogs. I see myself as a nice, caring, fun, spiritual and intelligent person.

I am active in my church, going to Mass at least weekly and more if it can fit in my work schedule. I also enjoy other church functions and activities. My faith is an essential part of my being and as such think having a partner that is as active in the church is very important to me. I tend to be pensive and fairly logical. I love sports and movies and enjoy spending time simply walking and talking. My family is very important to me and I try to stay in contact with them daily. My ideal first date would be either coffee or drinks to maximize the time we could talk and get to know each other.

Come fly with me! I am full Sicilian and the youngest of 5. I retired from US Airways in 2000 from the Customer Service Department at BWI and have lifelong flying benefits with them. Now that the company is combined with American Airlines, flying to any destination in the world is a possibility and I desire to share this benefit with a special lady. I love football and am a Ravens fan with the former Baltimore Colts still glued to my heart! I also enjoy baseball, traveling, going to the beach, music especially big band and oldies and enjoy slow dancing, the jitterbug especially fast, and the cha-cha; I like a few of the line dances- the original electric slide and booty call. I love steamed crabs. I enjoy the ocean in the summer to watch the sunrise. I am a veteran and have served in Germany where I have been to the real Okterbofest 3 times and desire to go again with that special someone. I have been to France, England, Ireland, Italy and several states including the Grand Canyon. I love the warm weather. My father was a self-taught Sicilian on the mandolin and made each of us 5 siblings learn an instrument; he had me learn the piano of which I attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore Preparatory Department at the same time as high school, but did not graduate from Peabody; instead, I chose to graduate from high school, the Baltimore City College. Attending both schools was too much for me. In my teen years I taught myself the accordion and I am able to play a little on the saxophone, clarinet, and trumpet. I am an Honorary Life Member of the Knights of Columbus and am active with the organization at Columbus Gardens in Parkville, MD. I volunteer at their bingo and I enjoy attending their social events. I am a Knight of Columbus 4th Degree and enjoy dressing in a tuxedo to participate in their Honor Guard. I especially love to march in two Italian festivals that are held in Little Italy, MD for St. Leo's Church- the St. Anthony Festival and the St. Gabriel Festival. I also enjoy going to the July-August movies in Little Italy. I am a night owl but will be an early bird if need be especially to get on an early airplane ride for a vacation. I miss having that special lady next to me and enjoying watching movies and TV together snuggling with each other and keeping each other warm especially during cold winter days and nights. I enjoy watching biography movies especially the old black and white historical and any true events.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. Just by way of background, I formerly studied philosophy with the aim of teaching undergraduates; however, two years ago I realized that simply wasn't going to be viable. I could certainly do the necessary work to receive a Ph.D.--it was simply a matter of what the job market looked like afterward. So, I decided to take up a new opportunity and prepare to go to pharmacy school. Because, sadly, most pharm programs really don't care about how well I can describe Aristotle's anthropology, I do have to take a fair number of prereqs in chemistry and biology before I can apply. Even so, I have a tremendous amount of support from friends and family. I've never been married nor have I been engaged; I have no children. I suppose it's worth mentioning that I'm a convert. When I was 17 I was received into Holy Church--the first class of the new millennium! I had been a Southern Baptist evangelical and it was within the church family that I first received Holy Baptism, although it wasn't until I began to study Catholicism and Orthodoxy that I realized just how meaningful and transformative that moment was. I definitely want to share more about that later! With that having been said, I love a great many things about our faith--Liturgy, Scripture, systematic theology, and the like--though I assure you I'm not a complete bookworm! I love reading of course. I enjoy understanding how different individuals have come to see the world through their own unique experiences thereof. That doesn't mean I don't indulge in secular matters--I'm an avid science fiction fan, I enjoy intellectually stimulating conversation that challenges my own thinking, and I enjoy getting to know people better. When I look at myself, although my faults are many, I try to be what my mother always wanted me to be: a gentleman. I'm intelligent but I find that I'm far happier with my capacity for empathy than anything else. I can relate to people--try to put myself in their position--and I never judge persons, only actions, and ever work to meet people where they are. I've tried taking the temperament test multiple times; however, each time I take it the results don't quite capture who I am, so I wanted to add that my MyersBriggs Type is INFJ. Lastly, I never use one word where five will do; though perhaps I'll already illustrated that!

I am a a very outgoing, sometimes sarcastic woman. I love GOD, my family, my friends and my job. I love to go out and have a great time, but then again I love to stay home and cook. My family is very close. I love affection and physical attraction is a MUST. I believe that you do not have to be single to be lonely. I would like to meet someone to grow old with and someone that adores me and appreciates me and my family.

I was born in the beautiful colonial City of Quito, Ecuador. I was blessed to grew up surrounded by loving, caring, catholic and professional parents. I was fortunate to receive a solid catholic and unique academic education I am prud of. I graduated as a Medical Doctor in 1977. I moved to Baltimore in 1980 where I completed my tranimg in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the Jonhs Hopkins Medical Institutions and currently I enjoy practicing Medicine. I feel content with my accomplishments and my love able children's. I am not interested in a companion but someone Who will agree love is based on admiration, respect, loyalty and fidelity. A romantic relation is a process of honest interaction and acknowledgement of the partners involved. Deeds and actions are more important than words. I love sports. Duke University and University of Maryland where my children attended are my favorite teams. In a relation there has to exist faith, a promise and God for love to survive. Love is the energy and essence of life.
