49, Catonsville, MD+AMDG+ I'd say I'm a man who's defined first by my Catholic faith which I strive to live with fidelity and joy. I am an American patriot, and am very traditionally minded. I am loyal to my family and friends, honest to a fault, place great stock in personal integrity, and pursue all of my interests with gusto. My fourteen year old son, Ezra, is the greatest earthly joy of my life. I am also passionate about Christian education, politics, and music (Medieval, Renaissance, Scots-Irish, classical, bluegrass, and classic rock). I like to cook and am that rare breed of man who keeps a clean house, irons his own shirts, but will spend a Saturday shooting a game of paintball in the muddy woods with my son and his friends. I'm a voracious reader (history, lives of the saints, sci-fi, classics). Most mornings, I get up and thank God for the love of my work...I'm a Catholic educator currently teaching fifth grade at an independent Christian school. I see my work as a vital ministry and consider it a great privilege to be invested with such trust doing such incredibly important work. Obviously, being a devoted dad and teacher, I am deeply invested in young people and pretty good with kids!
42, Baltimore, MDHey folks I'm a guy who's just starting out, nothing fancy. Low maintenance, low budget and no nonsense. I am zonked out by the hours work has required of me hence the no maintenance. The last couple of years have been rough and uneventful and I have overlived.
29, Brooklyn, MDI work as a fleet manager at a trucking company in my career. Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar, writing music, going out exploring, and spending time with friends and family.
30, Glyndon, MDFirst off, the faith is everything- colors and informs everything else. Always looking for ways to improve and grow, and really appreciate having others around who encourage that. I am definitely an introvert but that seems to surprise most people- I do just fine in social situations, get along very well with people, make friends easily, just love the quieter reflective times to recharge. I love music- I've done a good bit of recording, mostly background vocals on friends' albums. Definitely a fun thing to do and an experience you can't get any other way in terms of creativity and discipline and vulnerability and self-reflection and criticism. I love baseball, especially the Orioles- got season tickets this year. I also love history- ever seen Ken Burns' Baseball series? Its on Netflix, very good. Also on Netflix- Ultimate Guide to the Presidents. Oh, also, I love Netflix. I recently put a contract on my first house, settling in a few weeks. Really excited for that, definitely feeling like a grown up! Looking forward to whatever God sends next.
30, Baltimore, MDI'm a fun-loving person who loves to laugh and just enjoy life. God, family, and friends are very important to me. I'm a lawyer at a non-profit organization. Guess that's basically me in a nutshell, feel free to message me if you want learn more. :)
36, Riverdale, MDMy view is that most problems in life can be solved with coffee, chocolate, and red wine. Or at the very least, you'll feel a little better after having these 3 things for dinner. :-)
55, Oxon Hill, MDMy belief is outlined in the Apostles' Creed. I pray the Holy Rosary and wear the Brown Scapular daily. I go to Confession periodically. I receive Holy Communion from the consecrated hands of priests and on the tongue. The Douay Rheims bible is my preferred book of scriptures. The preachings of Bishop Fulton Sheen, Pope John Paul II, Commentaries by J.K. Chesterton inspire me. I believe on Our Lady of Fatima. In spite of the publicized failings of some Catholics I remain a Roman Catholic. For relief from my patent illustration work, from time to time I visit museums, do some photography, listen to music ( classical, pop, easy listening, some jazz, movie soundtracks), watch some movies ( science fiction, religious, action thriller). Although I like science fiction, I don't believe in the existence of humanoids on other planets. I can't read music, but I try to play a musical instrument by ear. I eat different ethnic foods (Italian, Spanish, Filipino, Chinese, Mediterranean, Greek, Indian, etc.) after all I come from a hybrid culture. I am of Filipino and Spanish descent. Facebook helps me communicate with my friends and relatives. I like vegetable gardens, orchards, and ornamental gardens and I have a dog. Oh, yes, I still have my natural teeth. I can tell jokes, too! May there be no food or beverage in your mouth, when you hear one of my jokes!
34, College Park, MDSingle mother of toddler. Grew up in Maryland and lived in Hawaii for one year. Enjoys philosophy, theology, humanities, art and music. Nature enthusiast. If you would like to exchange with me, please send a message.
25, Baltimore, MDAs someone in hard pursuit of a fascinating PhD in cancer cell biology, I must admit that I currently spend a good deal of time in a laboratory. But wait! I'm not a crazy scientist, and not just because I can no longer pull off the Einstein look, haha! Although research can indeed be a demanding mistress, I really do endeavor to live a holistic lifestyle: one which is undoubtedly active, but contemplative first! Ordinarily, I like for my shenanigans to reflect life's own variety and thrill. Even my musical tastes are eclectic, and - dare I say it? - my dancing feet electric. ;) I relish adventure, and delight in the opportunity to survey new places: anything from a bustling city to a luscious forest! While all of these good things are certainly cause for immense pleasure, there is one enterprise for which I reserve a special affection: personal discourse. I love talking to people, and especially cherish conversations that are deeply personal and span the whole spectrum of life. And since the best discussions are metaphysical and natural, silly and witty, all at the same time, they will also often refer back to God spontaneously; because what facet of Creation does He not cradle in His loving Hands?
34, Silver Spring, MDI have a passion for Philosophy/Theology as well as other things that focus on the "big questions" of life. I find these types of wondrous concepts to be fascinating. In addition to truth, wisdom, and love, I suppose that is part of the reason why I am still Catholic today. I also have a passion for justice and morality. As to what I look forward to the most, I look forward to spending time with those I care about the most. I am happiest when around my friends. I am reflective, sentimental, and philosophical. Although I'm a little on the quiet side, I have a great since of humor and definitely have my moments. But overall, I guess you could say I'm the strong, silent type ;) I tend to lead a low-key life without too much complication, so there are a lot of things that I haven't done, but I'm always open to new experiences. I like learning about and taking part in other people's passions while constantly trying to better myself and become more virtuous. I believe that human fulfillment lies in the greatest good: God.
26, Germantown, MDHi, I am Cara. I am a traditional Catholic girl who goes exclusively to the Traditional Latin Mass (SSPX) and I am looking for a good Catholic man who will help me raise my children to love their God and who will be my companion and helpmate to heaven. I think my temperament is actually more sanguine-melancholic
47, Silver Spring, MDThe sincerity and honesty, are the most important to form a Friendship and that with the Grace of God can be consolidated in relation for ever. The Grace of living in the Catholic Church despite the deficiency of one, has been the Maximum Experience in my life
