62, Essex, MDYes, we all just hate this part of introducing ourselves in print ..... so here goes! Firstly, growing up Catholic, religion has always been a part of my life, and I know God it out there with us. I attend church religiously, pun intended, every week that I am physically able, and try to treat others with courtesy and respect, and as God intended for us to do. About myself, I would say that I am a person with many good qualities by which I live: easy-going, friendly & pleasant personality, excellent sense of humor, good character, honest, honorable, ethical, level-headed, intelligent, respectful, courteous, healthy, and reasonably fit. I come from a small family, so I value family and friends. I'm from the "old school" Catholic education, with conservative thinking and morals, so I have those old fashioned values. I am seeking a mutually strong foundation of friendship, potentially leading to a long term relationship with a woman of similar goals. My interests are varied, but mainly include photography, ham radio, target shooting, and slowly getting into woodworking. . I am single and never married, no children, and free to marry within the Church should things come to that level; non-smoker, no drugs or alcohol abuse. I am also fairly recently retired from the rat race, having taken the plunge into work-free freedom as of Jan. 1, 2015, a sort of birthday gift to myself.
64, Reisterstown, MDI am the mother of 4 grown children and have 7 grandchildren. I lead a busy and active life with work, my family and friends. I would love to add someone special to all of this. It is hard to put me into a category, I enjoy most things, travel, being with family and or friends and I relish just being home.
50, Hyattsville, MDI enjoy life's simple pleasures. I value my faith for it defines me. I'm not perfect, but I struggle to be true to what I believe. My family is very important to me; they are my solace in this world that often confounds. The child in me keeps me in wonder and amazement at what God has done for us. I like jokes a lot - the cornier, the better. I like dancing to happy music... Wacthing raindrops fall on trees and grass.. Quiet moments of reflection.. Holding hands... Small talk... The little things that are often overlooked but are what really make a relationship strong and special. I only have one life to live. I mean to live if fully and meaningfully.
43, Silver Spring, MDI am a simple person who enjoys time with family, friends, and sometimes, myself. I love nature as this always reminds me of God's amazing works and abundant love for us. I am a teacher, and I am grateful for this opportunity to make a difference in young children's lives . I believe that I am a work in progress in this journey called life .
28, Ellicott City, MDThe person I am: I have great ability to speak clearly, and I am able to teach others what life has to offer. I love speaking in front of crowds and reaching out to many different types of people. I really enjoy being active in other peoples lives and I have a knack for playing music. I have been playing guitar for 10 years now and I enjoy singing and performing in front of many people. I have a bachelors degree in Math Education, and I received my masters in Educational Administration. I try to stay as active as I can and I work out in the gym 5 times a week to try and keep up with a healthy lifestyle. The things I like: I consider myself a bit of an adventurous. I really enjoy going on camping trips and being out in the wilderness. Being outdoors truly gives me a sense of peace and the ability to appreciate the finer things in life. I am also a great cook and I try to make a variety of dishes where I know not one person will be dissatisfied when they try my food. I also enjoy running 5k races and I try to sign up at least 4 times a year. The communities I am active in mean much to me and I try to make as many people as possible laugh and smile at life. My goals: My hometown and college shaped how I love and appreciate others and severed as model for how I would like to mold the culture in my area as a teacher and counselor. After coming here, I realized not all places are created equal. I live so close to 3 metro areas; these areas place a great deal of importance on image, money, occupational gain, and less importance on leisurely activities and relationships. Hopefully as a therapist, I can help people put greater emphasis on family, quality time, honesty, and transparency in the community around me. I am hoping to find a partner in crime who would love to be a part of that journey :D .

29, Silver Spring, MDHello, My name is Mimi. Let me first of all thank you for taking time out of your busy life to gaze at this profile. The one thing I am most passionate about: Taking care of others, helping people and making people smile. Yes I know that sound cheesy- but I try really hard to brighten the day of everyone I meet, even if that's just By asking a cashier how they are or holding the door open for someone. That is why I ended up in a profession whereby helping people is my daily thing. I Try to always think of that quote by the Dalai Lama: "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible. " The most influential person in my life is my mother. She gave me my curious nature and taught me to always think of others first. She and my dad were married for 20 plus years until he died; and she always said he was the most precious and important part of her life. The way she treated him with respect, kindness and gratitude has really shaped the way I conduct myself in all my relationships_ particularly with men. My friends describe me as: warm, generous, thoughtful and caring. The one thing I wish people would notice about me: I can be forthright and direct when I need to be. Not in a bar - fight kind of way...but I do know how to get what I want. I am looking for: l love intimacy and getting swept up in a new relationship - that whirlwind when you meet someone and fall for them instantly. I think true romance is about getting to know someone and connecting on a deep level- it's more than just chemistry and attraction. Please do not hesitate to drop me a message.
27, Bowie, MDHi! I have never written something like this before so bear with me. I'm a high energy guy who can have fun doing anything if I'm with the right people or person. I'm an Eagle Scout and am still involved with helping the next generation of scouts achieve success. I am equally comfortable being on an adventure with camping, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, etc. as I am being cozy at home, playing games, watching movies, and cooking. I love learning new things and skills, games, puzzles, and parties with close friends or family. I am very competitive but not in a 'have to be the winner' way, more that I just enjoy competing. I place a high value on friendship and family and I think loyalty is one of the most admirable traits a person can have. I have my J.D., have passed the MD bar, and recently became employed as a member of the State's Attorney's Office for Prince George's County (I'm a prosecutor)! More on that below. My faith is incredibly important to me and has informed every aspect of my life (Which I'm sure is pretty normal on this page). My prayer life is pretty good, though, to be honest, my mass attendance isn't the best. I've occasionally considered becoming a lay member of the Trinitarian Order or joining said Order but I'm pretty sure I'm being called to family life. More on that below too. Trivia - I'm a playwright for the Boy Scouts of America and have had seven plays performed - I'm also an actor for the Boy Scouts and have appeared in front of a 15000 person audience - I'm an assistant coach for the St. John DeMatha High School Mock Trial team which came in 3rd in the State this past year. - I was a two sport athlete in college and high school. - I enjoy MMA training and have spent a few years learning various techniques but started as a Boxer.
