Thank you for visiting my profile. I have been Catholic all of my life. I am working to become a Child of God as I search for a Child of God to share the rest of my life with. I am a parishoner at Our Lady Star of the Sea and I get a lot from Father Mike's sermons, either being challenged or encouraged on my faith journey. If I am not what you are looking for, I hope that you find the what you are looking for. Peace Ken

I am a fun loving, caring compassionate woman. I enjoy life but miss having that someone special in my life. I am looking for a man who has integrity and is honest to a fault. Someone that can carry on a conversation. I am looking for someone that can laugh at theirself and know its okay. I enjoy being alone with someone cuddling and watching a movie and also enjoy going on an outing with family and friends. I enjoy shopping, sightseeing, walking, biking, the mountains and the beach. Life is full of ups and downs, I am ready for more ups. Life should be fun and exciting. I enjoy listening to country music and dancing. I have been an EMT for 11 years and volunteer with our local fire department/EMS. I have two wonderful children that are pretty much grown and doing their own thing.

What ever happened to romance? You know? ..you meet, get to know one another, see if there is chemistry, have fun/laugh often, flowers for no reason/a note just because I thought of you, that anticipation of when will I see you/hear from you. If you felt it, you know its real. Life is SHORT... FORGIVE quickly, KISS slowly, LOVE truly, LAUGH uncontrollably. I am a gentleman and treat a woman with respect (chivalry, manners). I believe honesty, loyalty, trust, openness, compromise, and communication are part of any relationship. I am kind, caring, loyal, romantic, witty; good sense of humor, can laugh at myself (others do too), love smiles (especially if a woman shares some of hers). I am attentive and very affectionate (even in public)..hand-holder, hug giver... Big heart and a huge capacity to love (through anything), supportive and good listener. My faith is important to me, I try to live it and raise my children by it. My life is full of many blessings and graces from HIM! I believe love is unconditional :) I am open-minded and accept people as they are. Looking for friendship to start with and build from there. I am a retired state trooper. I live in a rural county, country life is great but I do like to venture into city life-now and then. I enjoy reading, music, sports (especially football), hiking, biking, fishing, shooting, cooking, grilling and barbecuing...and my dogs (a lab and a swissy). I love to hang out with family and friends and cook something they'll love. Going out is just as good as staying in and cooking with someone special. I like to take time to get to know someone, if rushed, you sometimes miss the little things. Sometimes the simple pleasures in life are the best. Things that mean so much: hand holding, a note, a hug at the right time, helping someone. I think a woman and I do not have to be completely alike or share ALL the same interests (we are individuals)...she should be some things, I am not...to make me whole not a half. I believe love is a decision, I will share it with the one gal that fits. A partnership where each enhances the life of the other person. Be her refuge/her safety..her rock/her stability. A real man will always be with a woman, standing by her through good times and bad. I have two children, and take this cautiously but with optimism. I prefer slow at first, but do not fear commitment if the right woman comes along.

I'm not looking for prince charming. But after being on this site since January and having met no one, I'm wondering what is it about my profile that turns men away? What is it that I have said - or didn't say - that keeps men from responding? Personally, I'd rather have a "thank you" or hear that we're not a match than to be viewed and ignored. This site should be better than secular sites, right? If you wouldn't mind, could you take a moment and tell me what prevents you from having a conversation with me? If it's something I can improve within my profile, that could be valuable information. Thank you. I am an active, practicing Catholic; and my faith is central to my life. I love enjoying the gifts God has blessed us with in this life here on earth: nature, music, art, creativity, history, etc. My life has taught me a lot; and I especially learned much about marriage through my divorce. Sounds contrary, but the experience and subsequent healing forced me to explore what God designed marriage to be, not what I thought it was. I have learned that it's more about giving than getting; it's more about serving my husband than it is about how happy he can make me; it's more about taking care of each other and helping each other on our journey to heaven than anything else. This means I will want to know how I can help you each day; and how I can pray for you. I will want to help you be the man God created you to be. I want to be the girlfriend/wife that holds your hand, gives you hugs, listens to your stories and stresses, supports your dreams, and rubs the stress from your shoulders. I stated that I have a few extra pounds, which is true, but I am actively working to change that (and I'd love to continue working on that with my partner), so it's not something that will be permanent. In fact, I have lost over 50 lbs since I first started paying attention. I enjoy walking and hiking. I used to swim, play tennis, and play volleyball; and I wouldn't mind trying these again. I also purchased a used bike last year, so I'd like to start doing some riding as well. I also said I can't relocate. For the most part that is true; however, I might be able to get that decision changed under the right circumstances.

As someone in hard pursuit of a fascinating PhD in cancer cell biology, I must admit that I currently spend a good deal of time in a laboratory. But wait! I'm not a crazy scientist, and not just because I can no longer pull off the Einstein look, haha! Although research can indeed be a demanding mistress, I really do endeavor to live a holistic lifestyle: one which is undoubtedly active, but contemplative first! Ordinarily, I like for my shenanigans to reflect life's own variety and thrill. Even my musical tastes are eclectic, and - dare I say it? - my dancing feet electric. ;) I relish adventure, and delight in the opportunity to survey new places: anything from a bustling city to a luscious forest! While all of these good things are certainly cause for immense pleasure, there is one enterprise for which I reserve a special affection: personal discourse. I love talking to people, and especially cherish conversations that are deeply personal and span the whole spectrum of life. And since the best discussions are metaphysical and natural, silly and witty, all at the same time, they will also often refer back to God spontaneously; because what facet of Creation does He not cradle in His loving Hands?

Hi! I'm a church choir director/singer/pianist who enjoys spending time with my family, watching Netflix, and eating good chocolate. In the interest of full disclosure, I'm overweight, but that is one of my crosses that I'm continuing to work on. I'm a bit of a nerd, and am into all things Disney, LOTR, and Star Wars, to name a few. My Catholic faith means the world to me, and I'm constantly amazed by how wonderful God really is.

Would you like to take a walk along the harbor at sunset? How about a hike through the woods on a summer afternoon, or a drive through the mountains on a crisp fall day when the trees are full of color? Then I'd love to meet you! I live in Baltimore and I'm an accountant. Contrary to popular belief, we do not spend our free time reading the tax code! I like live music, Orioles baseball, and neighborhood festivals, plus some down times of quiet evenings in front of the fire or on the deck. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out at the gym, and playing my guitar. I think people would say I'm friendly, loyal, and have a good sense of humor. I'm also trying hard to live a Christian life.

I think of myself as an artist, but I love my job teaching. I'm passionate about nature, good music, and healthy foods! I'm a positive person and enjoy people who enjoy learning and traveling. As you see, I love theatre and singing, dancing and acting, but that doesn't take over the most important things in my life which are my family and my faith.
