  • Diana, 30 from Kingston, MA
    30, Kingston, MA
When I was five years old I was adopted from a Mexican orphanage and quickly learned to speak English and settled in with my new family. We are all very close and share a lot of family and church activities together. In the summer we love to swim, go boating, or go camping. Travel is what I'd like to do more of and I'm saving up to go to Fatima, Lourdes and the Holy Land. People say I am easy-going, fun-loving, kind and have a beautiful smile and eyes. I am a hard worker and will stick with a task until it is done. Even though I am petite, I have a great appetite and love to go out to eat and see a show. I enjoy bowling, horesback riding, and watching movies with popcorn! :) I'm shy, but enjoy meeting people and being helpful, especially at work. My family still prays the rosary together after dinner!

  • Mariana, 25 from Auburndale, MA
    25, Auburndale, MA
I'm a young Catholic and passionate about my Roman Catholic faith; Jesus is the center of my life. I'm looking for someone who is both passionate and serious about their faith, has a deep love for Mary our mother, and faithful to all the Catholic Church's teachings. I'm a fan of the writings of saint John Paul II, Benedict XIV, and Pope Francis. My family plays a central role in my life. We do Sunday dinner together and try to say the Rosary everyday as a family. I'm looking for someone whose family is an important aspect of his life too. Volunteerism is also a big part of my life. I'm hoping it's important to him as well. I'm involved in the pro-life movement, helping the homeless, visiting the elderly, and helping children in Mexico. I am an introvert and dont tend to talk a lot until I know someone better. I enjoy curling up with a good book or watching a movie. Some of my favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Jane Austen, or Orson Scott Card. I like watching classic films, such as any Alfred Hitchcock movie or movie with Audrey Hepburn in it; I do enjoy watching recent films as well. I also like to go hiking, see plays, go bowling, dine out, go to parties, cook, and write creatively; I've been in the process of writing my novel since college. I'm looking for someone who values hard work, likes to have a great time, and is ok with making mistakes, but owns up to them. I love traveling abroad and have been to Mexico numerous times, Italy once, and Spain twice. I saw Pope emeritus Benedict at a papal audience, and during World Youth Day in Spain. I want to meet someone who loves to travel and is adventurous , but doesn't mind staying in and having a quiet weekend.

  • Matthew, 22 from Boston, MA
    22, Boston, MA
Honestly, I love travel, food, drink, singing, reading, and obsessively learning new things. Catholicism snuck up on me when I was studying history and politics. Even now, I am returning to a reading binge, and am blasting through the usual history podcasts everyone else has already finished. I love the Latin Mass, Gregorian Chant (obviously), and Catholic Art and Music (especially Gothic facades and Eastern Icons). As my mother's son, I've embraced art and music over playing or watching sports, and so after my return to the Faith, I began to sing Gregorian Chant, which eventually grew into a love for singing. I am most who I am today because of my love for learning new things. This was the grace that spurred me back into the Church (thank you Bishop Sheen et al), and what (on a good day) drives me to see more, do more, and experience more. This, and my talent for languages, led to a love for travel which gave me two unforgettable blessings, the five months I've had in France going to Mass at St Eugene, and the Chartres Pilgrimage. I grew up in a tight-knit family that basically keeps me from really being comfortable alone for too long, and yet, taught me how to carve out my own space among the clamour. First-hand, I was shown the crucial importance of the multi-generational household and the extended family. As for free time, besides everything else (singing, reading, internet, languages), I kind of want to get into some form of art: Either drawing or calligraphy, Or maybe I'll finally finish writing something. By the way, I have a beard now...I'll try to get a better picture soon.
