Hi there! I am pretty outgoing and always up for trying new things. I'm from a big family and love spending time with them, some of my cousins are close by which is awesome. I have a slight Boston sports addiction yikes...I grew up playing hockey and running. In the summer you can find me at Fenway Park or on a beach somewhere. I am looking for someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously with a great sense of humor...

For the last couple of years I have been very focused on my career. I made it though that busy and stressful time with the love and support of my family and most importantly my faith. Now that I feel that area of my life is going in the direction I want, I am ready to meet the love of my life. I am sure that this sounds calculated and I don't mean it to. I just wanted to make sure that I was my best self before I offered myself to my future spouse. Truth be told, I am not all about business. I am a fun loving, laid back kind of girl. I am always up for a good time whether that is a night on the town or a quiet night at home. I love to cook, although I am a much better baker than cook; chocolate chip cookies and Irish soda bread are my specialities. My favorite place to be, no matter where I am, is near the water. I spent my summers when I was young on the Jersey shore. Now I am more likely to be found walking along the harbor walk in Boston or strolling the beaches on Nantucket. Either way, I am a happy girl when I am near the water. At the end of the day I am looking for someone to raise a family with and spend the rest of my life with.

My faith, family, and friends are incredibly important to me. I love being active and spending time outdoors whether it be going for a walk, running, hiking, waterskiing, kayaking, or skiing depending on the season. I love to laugh and am always ready for an adventure.

I'm a young Catholic and passionate about my Roman Catholic faith; Jesus is the center of my life. I'm looking for someone who is both passionate and serious about their faith, has a deep love for Mary our mother, and faithful to all the Catholic Church's teachings. I'm a fan of the writings of saint John Paul II, Benedict XIV, and Pope Francis. My family plays a central role in my life. We do Sunday dinner together and try to say the Rosary everyday as a family. I'm looking for someone whose family is an important aspect of his life too. Volunteerism is also a big part of my life. I'm hoping it's important to him as well. I'm involved in the pro-life movement, helping the homeless, visiting the elderly, and helping children in Mexico. I am an introvert and dont tend to talk a lot until I know someone better. I enjoy curling up with a good book or watching a movie. Some of my favorite authors include C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, Jane Austen, or Orson Scott Card. I like watching classic films, such as any Alfred Hitchcock movie or movie with Audrey Hepburn in it; I do enjoy watching recent films as well. I also like to go hiking, see plays, go bowling, dine out, go to parties, cook, and write creatively; I've been in the process of writing my novel since college. I'm looking for someone who values hard work, likes to have a great time, and is ok with making mistakes, but owns up to them. I love traveling abroad and have been to Mexico numerous times, Italy once, and Spain twice. I saw Pope emeritus Benedict at a papal audience, and during World Youth Day in Spain. I want to meet someone who loves to travel and is adventurous , but doesn't mind staying in and having a quiet weekend.

Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile. I'm an electrical engineer working in the Boston area. I'm from the eastern Massachusetts area originally, and spent most of life in this around here, except for 6-year stint in North Carolina during my twenties. I like to exercise and work out fairly frequently. When the weather permits I like to go bicycling, and even use my bike as my primary transportation into the city where parking is hard to find. Usually a few times a year I go for a day hike in the area. My last hike was in October, when I organized and led a group of about 20 people on a hike at Blue Hills in Milton. My faith is a big part of my life, and I'm involved with a few young adult groups in the area. I follow the local Boston sports teams on a casual to semi-serious basis. Haven't been to many Boston games in person but would be up for going more. I went to Duke for grad school, and am a big Duke basketball fan (2015 national champs!) In my quiet time, I read a lot of news/magazines on current events and other non-fiction. I like learning about things I don't know much about, and keeping up with current events. And a lot of times I find myself just hanging out with friends, doing nothing in particular but catching up on life and enjoying conversation.

I appreciate simple things - sunrises, walking the beach, ice cream, a good book - and am happiest when with my family and friends. I grew up in a small town by the ocean and can't imagine living away from it. I like going out to restaurants, trying new foods, and cooking (simply though!), and believe that food is best enjoyed in good company. Although I've never been one for camping, I can't resist being outside in nice weather and I enjoy being active - I'm a Pilates instructor and a morning run is my favorite way to start the day. I'm also incredibly passionate about my career as working in a classroom has always felt natural.

I am passionate about my work as a cancer researcher; I really pray that I can make a significant impact in my field and help lead to a world without cancer. I do plan on going back to school in a few years (hopefully 2018) and start an MD-PhD program to further my knowledge. I am passionate about my family and my career. The people that have been the most influential in my life have been my family and my tight knit group of colleagues that have become friends over the years. During my free time I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephew, shopping, and exploring new places whether it be a new restaurant, a little getaway, or an adventure of trying something out of my comfort zone.

My faith is very important to me in how I treat others, but a lot of other things are, too. I think a sense of humor is a must. Whether at a comedy show, watching a sitcom, or being around funny friends, I love to laugh. I can take a joke and I can hand them out :) I come from a big, crazy, down to earth family. I'm the second oldest of nine children, and although we are spread out on the East coast, we are all very close. I am a writer by day and a grad student by night. I am a development writer for a large Boston hospital. I ran my first marathon in 2013 and caught the running bug! I use marathons as an excuse to visit places I have never been, and I fundraise for charities that are near and dear to my heart - when you have to get up at 6am on a Saturday morning and run 15 miles, knowing you are raising money for a good cause is sometimes the only way not to fall back asleep :) I think the Boston Marathon is one of the greatest events in existence. I love to go out with friends and have a good time, but I am trying this site out in hopes that it is a wonderful alternative to meeting people at bars.
