As an intelligent, adventurous, Catholic man,I am very active and love the outdoors. As a US Marine traveled all over the Pacific and based in Hawaii three years. The mountains of New England bring peace and spiritual renewal when I climb them and I also cycle and work out frequently. As a faithful Catholic, I love visiting shrines and prayerful places, particularly St Joseph's Basilica in Montreal.Once a teacher, I appreciate a good discussion and I am an excellent listener. I enjoy fine dining, classical music, travel, deep conversation and humor. My outlook tends to be positive and I am very healthy and vigorous. Financially stable, thrifty and have no fear of commitment. My best friend's parents were married over sixty years and taught me volumes about the art of commitment without writing a single word. Please visit with a note and I promise you a wonderful response!

Family is important to me and so is my faith. I enjoy the simple things in life. I'm positive, happy and upbeat. I'm healthy and try to keep myself in shape. I have a really good sense of humor and try to keep things light but can be serious when the situation calls for it. Close friends and family describe me as a dependable, honest, hardworking, caring, thoughtful and fun. I have very traditional morals and values and tend to be attracted to warm, girl next store type girls. Best of luck in your search, Jim

Life is good! I love to live life and I enjoy my faith. I am a conservative Catholic who enjoys living my life the fullest - there's so much to see and do and so I live an active life. I try to be active in volunteering efforts to further my faith. I enjoy my family and friends and meeting new people. I'm always up for travel -- I love traveling the US and Europe as well. I'm a real history enthusiast! I also enjoy watching sports with friends and being active outdoors!

You could call me a realistic idealist with a deep interest in learning how to make the world a better place. I appreciate those who are sincere, truth-seeking, compassionate, and thoughtful. I love conversations that make me think about life. I am in awe of the beauty of our world and love reading, learning, and exploring new places and cultures. I recently moved to Massachusetts and I am seeking ways to get involved in young adult ministry and hopefully also some volunteering, interreligious dialogue, and/or human rights advocacy... and restarting long put on-hold hobbies, like martial arts, ice skating, hiking, writing/drawing, and traveling... I recently graduated and I hope I will be able to further pursue these interests now that I have some additional time! I currently work as a masters/doctoral level behavior therapist with children and teenagers. Most of my clients have special needs and/or have been exposed to other circumstances that affect their behaviors. Before this, my focus for several years was in working with children diagnosed with autism. I also have siblings who have been adopted internationally with special needs. They are a big part of my life, even now that I've moved Greater Boston area, a couple of hours away. Being there for loved ones is something I deeply value. I plan to always keep my brothers in my life; it is extremely important to me that those close to me value this as well. My personal and professional experiences have really opened my mind and heart to understanding the experiences of people with various cultures and special needs. (Just a Disclaimer: The insistence of friends who love this site has paid off, and as a good Catholic seeking my vocation, I will try and check this site more frequently... especially now that I have a membership that allows me to type back! I apologize to anyone who's messaged me during my hiatus to focus on university... and I have to admit I don't typically respond with or to emoticon messages... I don't seem to understand how that works!)

I love being outside and am frequently on the trails of MAs conservation land running, hiking, or just enjoying the views! As a school psychologist I really enjoy working with kids, and though it can be challenging, it brings me a great deal of joy. When I'm not at work, I enjoy making my friends laugh, doing yoga, drawing, cooking, and reading.

I am a fun and friendly girl who is about as open and honest as they come. I love to laugh and am pretty sarcastic, which sometimes gets me into trouble. :) My family and friends are the center of my life, and I believe they would describe me as funny, caring, and loyal. I am a die hard optomist and can usually find the good in any situation, as well as any person. I am extremely driven and believe that every person can accomplish greatness if they work hard enough at it. I don't take myself too seriously, I love to have fun and be random because in the end I think that's what life is all about. Obvious side note: I am a little person. I celebrate and embrace this part of my life, but it does not define me. I hope that this does not keep you from saying hello because you never know what could happen. Take a chance, I'm worth it.

"Her I loved and sought after from my youth; I sought to take her for my bride and was enamored of her beauty." -Wisdom 8:2 I'm latin american at heart. I dance salsa and bachata. I like them both but I prefer bachata because it is more sensual, and because of the simple body connection. The music is heavenly. My home base is Havana Club in Cambridge, MA - Friday, Saturday, and Monday nights. It all branches out from there.

Generally speaking, I'm easy-going, intelligent, gently sarcastic, and empathetic. I can find the silver lining or a laugh in almost anything, but I know when to point it out and when to just listen. I love novels, movies, and TV shows, anything with a good story. I also love riding my bicycle when the weather is warmer; the winters here always makes me particularly homesick. I try very hard to be tactful and polite at all times, but never at the expense of truth. But that could apply to a lot of people, so here are some slightly-more-esoteric facts about me: 1) I mostly wear tie-dye shirts when not at work. Not because of the California thing, though; I just like colors. 2) The Post Office once lost about half my books during shipment. To this day, it stands as one of the greatest tragedies of my life. (Not really, but kinda.) 3) I'm much more of a cat person than a dog person. I like dogs fine, but I just "get" cats better. 4) I have a bad habit of singing along to Disney movies, so it'd probably be best if you were up for singing along with me. ^_^ 5) I enjoy writing almost as much as I enjoy procrastination! Seriously though, I always enjoy chatting with a fellow writer. I promise not to judge if you're currently procrastinating, even when I'm not!

Hey! Thanks for checking out my profile. I'm from the eastern Massachusetts area originally, grew up here, went to college here, and then lived in North Carolina for 6 years for grad school. I moved back to New England three years ago. I enjoy exercising (weight-lifting, running, bicycling) and working out fairly frequently. I find it to be a great stress reliever and energy booster. My faith is a big part of my life. I was very involved with campus ministry in both college and graduate school, and am I involved with a few young adult groups in the area. I follow the local Boston sports teams on a casual to semi-serious basis. Haven't been to many Boston games in person but would be up for going more. I went to Duke for grad school, and am a big Duke basketball fan (2015 national champs!) I read a lot of news/magazines on current events and other non-fiction. I like learning about things I don't know much about, and keeping up with current events.

At this stage in life I feel like I'm closer than ever to living my life's purpose in every way. I am living a more natural and organic lifestyle, something I'd always envisioned doing. I'm taking care of my health better than ever before and finding more pleasure in the simple things in life. I've always loved being outdoors - walking, hiking, road trips, boating, camping, gardening, even fishing (although I haven't done that last one in... a long time). Right now I'm very passionate about nutrition and eating clean, natural, whole foods and juices. I would love to find someone who shares this passion. I've lived in NY state, northern Virginia (metro D.C. area) and presently, just outside of Boston. My other interests include music, education, interior design and architecture, and organic gardening and farming. I would describe myself as laid-back but with a spontaneous side. I can be happy spending time in the country or spending nights out on the town.

I'm a devout Catholic who has a variety of interests in and outside of church. I love the Mass and my daily prayer times. Outside of church activities, I try to exercise regularly, most recently with swimming and walking, but sometimes kayak/canoe and in the winter I ski and snowshoe. I also like to swing dance and other kinds of partner dancing. I love Catholic spiritual reading. Having four siblings and 9 nieces and nephews, I like to visit family. Other interests which I wish I had more time for are gardening and knitting. I'd love to meet a man who has similar interests especially the most important being our Catholic faith.
