I'm a fun-loving girl who loves spending time with friends and family. My faith is very important to me. I attended Catholic schools throughout elementary and high school, and I think that having a Catholic education helped shape me into the person that I am today. I graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2013 with a BA in Psychology, and was involved in multiple clubs including Campus Ministry & the Pro-Life club. I am currently a HR Manager, but am looking to pursue an advanced degree so I can ace ice my ultimate goal of becoming a high school guidance counselor, I'm a little old fashioned, but I love to have fun as well. I recently started to learn how to play the ukulele and I also love cooking/ baking, attending concerts or movies or just spending the night in. Sports are another big part of my life. Ive played basketball and softball practically my whole life and I'm a huge Boston sports fan.

I treasure my time off..even before and after work.... I start out early mornings walking or riding my bike around the lake and I attend daily Mass before work. I am in the choir and I am an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist among many other programs at my Church. I have many friends both single and married . I am very devoted to my 2. children and my six grandchildren.. but I would enjoy someone special in my life who also shares my faith.

I live by the golden rule. I love music, travelling, theater, doing community service, adventures, my family and friends, animals and star gazing. In the summer, one of my favorite things to do is get in my car, roll the windows down, blast my music and drive wherever the road takes me. I am a singer and can play the ukulele. My friends say I have chronic harmonious- whenever a song comes on, I have to harmonize to it!! I am an 8th grade special education teacher and despite the craziness and certain moments I want to scream/pull all my hair out, I absolutely love my job. God has blessed me with an incredible life that has had many ups and downs. My mom is one of the most, if not THE most, influential people in my life. She had a stroke when I was 7 and in the 2nd grade. Watching her go through physical, occupational and speech therapy motivated and inspired me to want to help others and become a special education teacher. Despite a slight limp and somewhat limited use of her left arm, my mom has fought back and has made an incredible recovery. She has taught me not to take things for granted and if you love and trust in God, everything and anything is possible. I don't have a ton of leisure time being a teacher, but I love going bowling, spending time outside, going to concerts, checking out local breweries, spending time with my nephews and family, walking along the beach, travelling, cooking new things and watching movies.

Well to answer the question "what am I passionate about? " What first comes to mind is warmer weather so that I can pursue Crew Rowing. I began last spring and rowed all summer and well into the fall and can't wait to get back to it. I also enjoy gardening. I would have to say many life expeiences have shaped the independant person I am today. Although some have been sad life lessons all making me a better, understanding person. My Mom and my daughter are the most infuential people in my life. While relaxing I enjoy reading, going for a bike ride, hiking, working in my yard and of course rowing.

I recently moved to Somerville and in trying to find a parish I enjoy with intellectually stimulating homilies, I also saw a few ads for this site, so I figured "why not give it a try?" Having not done the online dating thing before, I never really made a list of dating requirements, but sharing similar values certainly is very important in any relationship and my faith at the center of that. Someone who can have deep discussions (not just about religion) and not only challenge my thought process but also teach me (and hopefully vis versa) is quite important to me. If you'd like to have those conversations over coffee, wine, beer or cocktails, we'd have something else in common, too. If you enjoy spending time outside in the nicer weather hiking, biking, at the beach or at a backyard bbq, maybe we should talk. If you already miss football season or can't wait for Sox season to start, please drop a line. Yes I'm a little hesitant about this online dating thing, but maybe you'll be the one to prove me wrong!

Taking a break for a while. Sometimes it's better to have a friend, and just let God control the situations that arise. Instead of wondering why you can't find anyone. My Name is Sammy. I am 26 years old. I have been living with my parents all my life. Hopefully that will change soon enough, when i can afford a place of my own. I was raised in a traditional Latin Mass Family. I am an only child, and I was home schooled. I never felt the pull towards furthering my education after graduating high school, as there has been nothing out there that's called to me. I believed God was calling me to the married life, so I had no interest in going to college to be a "career woman". I am a classical pianist, took lessons for 15 years...and even tho I never did anything with my talent, job wise, i do enjoy being able to sit down at the piano and play a Sonata or Bach Prelude. I am a HUGE star wars, and Marvel Fan.

My passions in life are my family, my faith, my work and making a difference in others' lives. I enjoy most activities . . . golfing, boating, walking, dancing, traveling and just being with the important people in my life. I am attracted to honorable, intelligent, happy people who live the Golden Rule, have a healthy life style and practice their faith. Balance is very important to me and the flexibility of working as a consultant has given me that balance. I'm a born optimist and always see the good in everyone I meet - but go out of my way to avoid negative people. In good weather you will find me either out on the water with my local yacht club's race committee, volunteering for Rotary fundraisers, at my grandsons' sporting events or on the golf course. In cooler months I enjoy traveling, daily walks to the harbor and spending quality time with my family and friends. I have been blessed with a supportive family, good health and an independent and active lifestyle. Life is good; but could be even better if I had someone special to share it with. Thank you for reading my profile.
