  • Scott, 55 from Boston, MA
    55, Boston, MA
I am self employed. I have my own consulting company plus I invest in real estate. I like to workout 5 to 6 times a week to de-stress. I hope to take some ski trips this year. I am a humble person and was taught early in life you have to work hard in life. I want the person I meet to understand an entrepreneurs mindset. I did corporate America for years and will never go back. So the women I meet will understand my drive to be successful in life. What does Scott do when he is not running his staffing company? He likes to fly down to Miami and spend time on the boat. Looking to share my life with a like minded individual. Let's cut through the small talk and have a quick 20 min phone conversation. Let's not hid behind a computer. We will know if we like each others personality. I wish the best of luck to everyone out there looking for love or a stable relationship.

Peace and Blessings to you. Very spiritual, down to earth, fond of music, art, intellectual conversation, minimal t.v., I volunteer, attend extra Mass when possible and am close to family with frequent gatherings. Fall in New England is something I very much enjoy, along with nature, outdoor activities, music, good wine, good coffee and good company. As advised by my Italian grandma: "Meglio da soli che con mal compagno"...better alone than with bad company!
  • Michael, 53 from Boston, MA
    53, Boston, MA
I'm family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my nephews and nieces, classical literature, biographies, traveling (especially Europe), writing, going out, staying in, running, working out, last-minute road trips to NYC, surprises (good ones), cultural events, baseball, football, and hockey. I'm second generation Irish, born in Boston and raised in the suburbs. I became a dual citizen a few years ago. I'm the seventh of eight children (six sisters and an older brother). I see God's Hand in this order, as if He tucked me away in the family like an afterthought in order to bring me closer to Him. After getting a master's in English, I taught for a bit and then went to law school. I liked law school a lot. I was a civil litigator in a Boston law firm for a number of years before leaving to pursue other projects. I miss the writing aspect of the law, as well as the people with whom I worked, but the long workdays left little time to devote to my personal life. For this reason, and some others, I took a break from practicing law. These days, I find that buy and hold, with the occasional speculation, is a solid strategy. I brush off the little disappointments of life over which I have no control. I have hope, always. I have a selfish tendency at times to say something stupid in order to hear it out loud and make myself laugh, but most of the time I try to make others laugh. I hold doors open and push in chairs. I can be a goofball. I'm not crazy about fruit, but I eat it about 4 times a day. I'm analytical, practical, and imperfect. I love my mother. I take her food shopping every Wednesday; when her car needs an inspection sticker, I get it for her. When I listen to music, it's typically classic rock, U2, Springsteen, as well as some top 40. Overall, I can listen to anything in a particular moment, so I like the idea of satellite radio and a lot of channels in the car. I enjoy traditional Irish music, preferably performed live. Movies I like to watch include The Godfather, Rudy, Fargo, Nacho Libre, Jaws, Gladiator, and Schindler's List. I tend to weave movie lines into conversations to illustrate a point or to draw an analogy; once in a while it makes sense. I don't know what an ideal match would be, but you should probably not be allergic to books.
  • Julia, 32 from Boston, MA

I'm easy going but I am serious about things that matter (faith and family). My favorite prayer is from St. Francis and I try to live by that ... to seek not so much "to be consoled, as to console. To be loved, as to love. To be understood, as to understand." Certainly I'm far from perfect, but willing to keep trying, one day at a time. And looking for a better half to help me :) I'm a bit behind in the dating scene, mainly because my studies in medicine have preoccupied me for many years. However, I've always made time for family and hope to have one of my own some day. Along with being a physician, service to family (right now, my parents and sisters) is my vocation. I live to make them happy and make life a little lighter for them each day. I especially enjoy spending time with my 4 year old nephew. I have the same aspiration to serve my own husband and children some day, God willing. I learned a great deal about sacrifice for family from my parents. They came to American from Poland during the time of Communist rule. Sometimes I think my job as a physician is difficult and then I remember that my parents came to a country where they were far away from their home, their support system, their culture and their native tongue. I often think about how difficult that must have been. And my parents made this sacrifice for a chance at a brighter future for the family they hoped to have and love. And they always remained firmly tied to their faith. They are a living testament to the power of faith, hope and love. I'm looking for someone who seeks to grow with me in these virtues with the understanding that it is a life long endeavor (and adventure!)

  • David, 36 from Boston, MA
    36, Boston, MA
Hello. I am David Stephan. I grew up in Everett, Massachusetts, which has changed much lately. I'll say it's most known for politics, football, pizza/sub shops, funeral homes, and more recently, beer. I was baptized and grew in faith in Immaculate Conception parish. My father is a working class, first generation German, who grew up in Reading. Being raised Methodist, he came to the Church several years ago. My mother is a very smart Irish woman with roots in Charlestown, but grew up in the Everett projects with my grandmother, Rita. It is this woman who has deeply ingrained the faith in me and continues to guide me from the bosom of Our Lord.

  • Craig, 62 from Boston, MA
    62, Boston, MA
My friends would say I am an easy going man with a big heart and a positive attitude about life and family. Challenge me and I am at my best. You would want me on your team if loyalty and honesty are important. I eat healthy, have a positive attitude, am physically fit and work hard to see the best in people. I love the water especially, if it's warm and close to a beach. I've skied out west in in Europe and have traveled to 4 continents and counting. Traveling anywhere is great if you are with the right person. I keep my passport close, and I am up for an adventure at a moments notice. I just returned from India which was definitely a bucket list trip and would go back if given the opportunity. I enjoy traveling to resorts and going on cruises every year.Family and friends are important to me.I'm looking for someone that might enjoy going out to dinner or staying at home and enjoy a quality conversation.I am just looking for someone to spend time with and enjoy life.I also know how to take time out to enjoy life. I'm happy but would like to add a companion to my life that has as much passion as me.
  • Joseph, 25 from Boston, MA
    25, Boston, MA
Engineer living in Cambridge. I enjoy going on hikes as much as seeing a show on Broadway. I go for long walks on the beach on the way to a volleyball net. I serenade a date after cooking her dinner. I cliff dive along waterfalls in my spare time.
