  • Scott, 55 from Boston, MA
    55, Boston, MA
I am self employed. I have my own consulting company plus I invest in real estate. I like to workout 5 to 6 times a week to de-stress. I hope to take some ski trips this year. I am a humble person and was taught early in life you have to work hard in life. I want the person I meet to understand an entrepreneurs mindset. I did corporate America for years and will never go back. So the women I meet will understand my drive to be successful in life. What does Scott do when he is not running his staffing company? He likes to fly down to Miami and spend time on the boat. Looking to share my life with a like minded individual. Let's cut through the small talk and have a quick 20 min phone conversation. Let's not hid behind a computer. We will know if we like each others personality. I wish the best of luck to everyone out there looking for love or a stable relationship.
  • Heidi, 38 from Boston, MA
    38, Boston, MA
I'm a vegetarian who loves nature, travel and living life. I've been to many countries and almost all states. I love the ocean and walking on the sand. I'm a student in a medical field currently and working. My last career no longer fulfilled a purpose in my life so I currently take care of the elderly in a nursing home who have dementia.

Young and vibrant, I live life to its fullest! I work quite a bit, and in downtime love to cook, run, and snowboard. Love taking the time to spend with family and friends, and head home to visit as often as possible. Love new challenges and exploring new adventures!
  • Michael, 53 from Boston, MA
    53, Boston, MA
I'm family-oriented and enjoy spending time with my nephews and nieces, classical literature, biographies, traveling (especially Europe), writing, going out, staying in, running, working out, last-minute road trips to NYC, surprises (good ones), cultural events, baseball, football, and hockey. I'm second generation Irish, born in Boston and raised in the suburbs. I became a dual citizen a few years ago. I'm the seventh of eight children (six sisters and an older brother). I see God's Hand in this order, as if He tucked me away in the family like an afterthought in order to bring me closer to Him. After getting a master's in English, I taught for a bit and then went to law school. I liked law school -- a lot. I was a civil litigator in a Boston law firm for a number of years before leaving to pursue other projects. I miss the writing aspect of the law, as well as the people with whom I worked, but the long workdays left little time to devote to my personal life. For this reason, and some others, I took a break from practicing law. These days, I find that buy and hold, with the occasional speculation, is a solid strategy. I brush off the little disappointments of life over which I have no control. I have hope, always. I have a selfish tendency at times to say something stupid in order to hear it out loud and make myself laugh, but most of the time I try to make others laugh. I hold doors open and push in chairs. I can be a goofball. I'm not crazy about fruit, but I eat it about 4 times a day. I'm analytical, practical, and imperfect. I love my mother. I take her food shopping every Wednesday; when her car needs an inspection sticker, I get it for her. When I listen to music, it's typically classic rock, U2, Springsteen, as well as some top 40 stuff. Overall, I can listen to anything in a particular moment, so I like the idea of satellite radio and a lot of channels in the car. I enjoy traditional Irish music, preferably performed live. Movies I like to watch whenever they're on include The Godfather, Rudy, Fargo, Anchorman, Jaws, Gladiator, Schindler's List, and Nacho Libre. I tend to weave movie lines into conversations to illustrate a point or to draw an analogy; once in a while it makes sense. I don't know what an ideal match would be, but you should probably not be allergic to books.
  • Matthew, 39 from Boston, MA
    39, Boston, MA
Genuine Boston boy, born and raised. Tall, broad-shouldered with green eyes. Live in the Seaport. Favorite places are the Scottish Highlands, Greek Islands and Bosnia. Play the sax and a lot of basketball. Like to dance and love a girl with a little soul Ideal date would be to take the boat out to one of the islands and have a picnic. Checkered blanket, basket, bottle of homemade blueberry wine. Like museums, foreign movies and history. I attend Mass every Sunday and try to make it to a Latin service once a month.
  • Tim, 50 from Boston, MA
    50, Boston, MA
I'm passionate about exploring our world both near and far. I'm an enthusiastic skier, biker, and traveler, and have recently experienced the trip of a lifetime, twice. I love life in the city, make eye contact with strangers, and sometimes even talk to them. I dream of beach weather in the winter, but can hardly be happier than when I'm making turns on a snow covered mountain under a clear blue sky. While I take life seriously, I enjoy making myself and others laugh, and am quick with a joke or a wisecrack. I'll open the door for you and - should we ever be in that situation - will let you onto the lifeboat first.

  • Bonnie, 47 from Boston, MA
    47, Boston, MA
I am passionate about my faith, and I look forward to receiving the sacraments regularly. My maternal grandmother, "Memere," was the most influential person in my life because she taught me to love prayer, homemaking and books, as well as how to have a successful Catholic lifelong marriage. In my leisure time, I enjoy long walks, recreation near the water, fine dining and craft beverages, and anything my children will do with me!

  • Ariana, 26 from Boston, MA
    26, Boston, MA
Thanks for stopping by! I'm an optimistic girl who is motivated and outgoing. I love making people smile and genuinely try to bring joy to others- whether they need a surprise cappuccino or just a listening ear. Along the same lines, volunteering is a big part of my life. I spend a few hours each week serving with different ministries in the city. In my free time I enjoy being active and learning new skills. While I'll probably always do yoga, I've recently been learning to box (and highly recommend it). I grew up hiking - which I still enjoy - and find I'm happiest when outside. To prepare for a trip to Rome this summer I started studying Italian. I'm a few months in and can now reliably ask how to find both libraries and banks.

  • Allyssa, 23 from Boston, MA
    23, Boston, MA
Hi! My name is Allyssa. I live for crisp breezes on sunny, autumn days, and live through every other kind of weather. Although, thunderstorms could make a good case, in my book. As a student pursuing a master of screenwriting, watching film and TV comes as naturally to me (and is just as important) as breathing. I watch just about anything I can get my hands on, but my favorite movie of all time is How to Train Your Dragon. Sometimes when I'm stressed I spontaneously explode creativity, which means random drawings, paintings, short stories, origami cup name it. I especially enjoy color pencils. I've always wanted to learn a second language, but I don't seem to have the patience for it. Directly contrary to a lack of patience is my love of plants, and helping them grow. That particular skill was a long time coming--I once deflated a cactus. Now I have more than 10 houseplants (all thriving, thank you very much). I love good food. I love trying new food. I'm also a pretty good cook, but most of the time I'm too lazy to make anything really impressive. The last really good recipe I made was honey-ginger baked salmon with sauteed mushrooms on spinach and rice. My favorite food is a toss up between steamed crab and homemade popcorn, the latter of which I frequently use as a stand-in for actual meals (per the previously mentioned laziness). One of my favorite places in the world is Lake Michigan. There's no place like it. Sand as soft as any ocean beach but with fresh, dark water that leaves you feeling awake. I do love swimming. In Lake Michigan or otherwise. I don't have a stroke that I prefer. I don't really use strokes. Swimming completely underwater is more my style. Green has always been, and always will be, my favorite color. The most important people in my life are my family. My Mom, Dad, and brother. We moved around quite a bit when I was younger, so we're very close-knit. My sense of humor is a bit strange, but I do have one. Somewhere. My memory is abysmal. Which is nice because everything seems new. But bad because everything seems new. I can, however, recall my dreams with intense detail. When I dream, it's vivid color and usually plays out like a movie. I've had some very interesting dreams but I've never had a nightmare. So. That's some of me, at least. Thanks for reading, if you read this far.
