  • Heidi, 38 from Boston, MA
    38, Boston, MA
I'm a vegetarian who loves nature, travel and living life. I've been to many countries and almost all states. I love the ocean and walking on the sand. I'm a student in a medical field currently and working. My last career no longer fulfilled a purpose in my life so I currently take care of the elderly in a nursing home who have dementia.

I'm a 7th and 8th grade Latin teacher in my fourth year of teaching. As you can probably guess, I'm very passionate about Latin, dead languages, and history. I actually participate in a lot of Latin-related activities, including Latin dinners, where you can only speak Latin. In my free time I enjoy reading, (Currently working on reading through the Bible, as well as After Virtue; I recently read Leaves of Grass, ASOIAF, and a book on the reconstruction of Latin pronunciation), trivia (I have a team that goes to trivia every week, and we win about half the time), and listening to music (a mix of classical and rock, mostly). I'm a beer connoisseur, and I've been brewing for almost two years now. I'm definitely a dog person--my family has a crazy year-old yellow lab, and I've been helping out with her a lot.

I look forward to meeting someone that likes together time spent being adventurous, working in the garden, cooking, sharing stories or just cuddling watching a movie. I love spending time outdoors, weather permitting, I do not like snow or maybe I just haven't discovered fun things to do in the snow though I used to enjoy cross country skiing. I am an energetic and fun person and seek a man with similar interests. Having the patience in becoming friends and developing trust in each other will mean a lot to me. After many years I am going to give it another try. To be in a relationship is respecting, sharing and caring deeply for each other no matter what and having the love (and patience) to compromise with each other when there are disagreements. It is very important that I find a Catholic man that goes to Mass weekly and attends Mass on holy days of obligation, putting God first and is open to doing things that deepen our faith in God together.
  • Jen, 29 from Mansfield, MA
    29, Mansfield, MA
I think we can all agree that it is difficult to write about yourself in a paragraph, but here goes nothing! My name is Jen and I'm not like most girls. I am not interested in the bar scene or a quick fling. I like cozy places and commitment. I am on Catholic Match because my faith has always been an integral part of my life and I know that it needs to be the central point of any relationship. The journey God has taken me on has lead me to a job in ministry, specifically at a Catholic Church. My job allows me to be a witness of the faith each and every day, that is one of the reasons why I am looking for a faith-filled Catholic man to help guide me on this path towards heaven. Before you stop reading with this image of "goodie two shoes" give me a chance. I am more interesting and complex than the image that you have in your mind. I love to laugh... sometimes at the worst possible times ;) In my limited free time you will find me creating things for my family and friends from knitting to painting... basically anything where I can use my hands. Exploring new places and taking in the beauty that is around us is one of my favorite things to do. None of that, however, beats being curled up on the couch with a Pats or Sox game, and good company. Confession: I may be Disney addict and am a sucker for happy endings.
  • David, 33 from Springfield, MA
    33, Springfield, MA
I enjoy playing guitar and writing on my free time-- I have a little portastudio to record guitar tracks and vocal tracks. I also enjoy collecting hats, my favorite hat being the fedora. I am also active in martial arts and believe that it is everyone's right to defend themselves when necessary. I have been training for many years and have made good friends, and I believe it complements my faith by helping those who are weaker and are bullied by others. No one should have to go through that.
  • Reuben, 24 from Barnstable, MA
    24, Barnstable, MA
The Catholic faith is very important to me. I seek God's direction in everything I do so that I'm living my life according to his will. It is through seeking and growing closer to him that I'll find the woman of my dreams. I like keeping introductions short and sweet, so here's my attempt at it. Having graduated from university in 2014, I've been building work experience as a Financial Analyst with the goal of pursuing my MBA later this year. I love traveling, playing sports and music. Soccer, badminton, table tennis and volleyball are some of my most frequently played sports. In addition, I also enjoy gaming online in my free time. My interest in music drove me to learn the piano at an early age and gave me the opportunity to play for a few gospel and social bands at church. Family life is important to me and I love spending time with them. For education reasons, we live far apart but we talk often and when we do meet, we always make the most of it. I know God is busy writing the best story for me. However, it may be time for me to go and find the queen as she could've gotten herself stuck in a tree or something while searching for me ;). God bless everyone here.
  • Ana, 42 from Springfield, MA

I'm a simple woman who enjoys life to the fullest. I enjoy my line of work especially when you can put a smile on someone else's face after a though time. I enjoy cooking, baking, going to the beach, and many other activities. God is the center of my life, and everything I do or plan He has to be first in order to lead the way.

Lots to say... here is a start. I work a full-time job in the field of education with many children with special needs, but I am not a teacher. My job is an ESSENTIAL part of my life, and I care more about my work and my students than I do about most other realms of my life. Currently working on improving myself (always working on improving myself) by cutting down my "working outside of work" hours to fewer than 10 hours a week. Yes, on average I work a 35-hour work week with an additional 10-20 unpaid hours of prep, editing, organization, and so forth. But I love my job and the students I work with, so that makes it all worth it. But my romantic life has suffered *cough*been non-existent*cough* because of my work. I LOVE people--find them fascinating, full of history and wisdom!--but I am fairly introverted and don't like superficial discussions; I crave realness. The show "This Is Us" speaks to me on SUCH a deep and human level... far more reality television than any so-called "reality TV" show has ever been. I HATE reality TV and don't care for most people who watch that crap regularly. Seriously... why? I hate gossip and talking negatively about others. I want to bring people UP and not down. I love performing random acts of kindness for strangers. I don't like wasting time on people I don't genuinely care about. Honestly, that is why I hate dating. With a passion. People are so phony and it drives me crazy. I will show you some of my best and worst parts of my personality right away--which me and my awesomely lovable but awkward friends love yet most people hate. I want to find someone... but you should know that I hate most guys and do not prioritize dating. Most men are either too nice, too awful, just want sex, are too boring, or too dirty/messy to me. I realize I am coming across as a horrible person with my views on dating! But I promise--I care so much about my students, family, and friends, that I simply do not want to waste time on people I don't genuinely care about with my whole heart and soul, and people who I can listen and learn from and people who respect and accept me for me. And people who GET me as opposed to put up with me. I love MUSIC; music is my life and without it, I would cease to exist. I love God; my faith is important to me (I try to attend church weekly) but I struggle with many Church teachings and feel that some seem outdated. LOVE is my fuel. Most of my friends are gay. I am bi.

I lost my husband last year. When you are happy and in love it's so hard to live life alone. Being new to Sarasota, moved from Massachusetts, I am making friends, exercising, volunteering and joining everything rather than face the evenings and nights alone. I enjoying walking, eating out with friends as well as cooking and having people over. Don't play cards, the favorite pass time in Florida. Love gardening, but now I live in a condo. Love cats, but my beautiful Himalayan cat also passed away in January. I'm a friendly, compassionate, and loving.
