68, Wrentham, MAHello, I am an engaging, warm, easygoing, woman full of unspeakable joy for all the goodness, miracles and gifts God has given me undeserving as I was. I give credit to God, living life abundantly in His love and mercy and cherishing every blessed moment. If it's His will, I would like to help a good man stay on the narrow path to heaven. As many say, it's not easy being Catholic in today's culture, but I believe God doesn't give us anything we can't handle. I am passionate about God, my daughters, six grandchildren, relatives(new and old), and my friends, many of whom have been or are closer than family. Also I do love my Eskimo (cat), who definitely has a beautiful soul. All this unspeakable joy is meant to be shared as we can't do it alone. Lord knows we have enough challenges and devastation. I look forward to a long healthy life full of precious moments with faith, family, friends. I love meeting people where they are at, and touching hearts by way of HS, and planting seeds as we say in evangelization. Many people have been influential in my life. Most recently, I made a papal visit to Philly. The Pope is such a gentle shepard who cares about all his lost sheep. It was so energizing and amazing to see so many faithful people gathered and on fire and seeking wisdom and direction in the way of love and mercy. Many people in my faith family have deeply touched my heart and done little things with great love that I will never forget. A stranger who I found through networking, found my birth family two years ago after I had searched since my 20's. Out of the goodness of her heart, and she even works. Miracles do happen, so I never give up. Then I won the $ needed to go to Ire and had the loveliest time meeting four cousins and many of their friends and locals. I love visiting family, friends etc. I enjoy volunteering in several groups, visiting nursing homes and praying with the men in jail. I'd love to do more walking, sightseeing, swimming, and experience new adventures, not necessarily zip lining! I love Beantown, San Diego, and AZ but love the country too, NC where my daughter lives seems lovely but humid like FL. So many places, so little time! But I wag more and bark less!!!
55, Taunton, MAI am generally quiet, reserved, an introvert but apparently I don't come across that way, because people often say I am a good conversationalist and have an out-going personality. I tend to think about things a lot, and I am passionate about Church and Constitution-related issues; I come down on the conservative side on both fronts. I firmly believe that our Lord established the Church on earth and that the Holy Spirit guides the Church, led by the Pope and bishops. I, like many Catholics, was greatly hurt and disheartened when the sexual abuse scandal broke, and disappointed in the Church's hierarchy, but I find strength and comfort in the knowledge that it is Christ, not people, in whom we place our hope and trust. With the exception of our Mother, Mary, we humans are sinners and do nothing good without God's grace. The history of the world demonstrates how "absolute power corrupts absolutely", and we need to be always vigilant against tyrants and dictators taking control of the populace. I am conservative in my politics because I see that big government is the breeding ground of tyranny, and I value our U.S. Constitution as a safeguard for our God-given liberty. Throughout my life, those who have been most influential upon me are my parents. I had major surgery when I was only 18 and my parents got me through it. My father was always my greatest supporter when it came to my art talent. With 7 children,he had great faith in God, ever confident that "God will provide". I have had my share of struggles and heartaches, and when I recall my father's reaction to his troubles, it gives me encouragement to overcome. My Mom, who is now in a nursing home, is (as mothers usually are) the heart of the family, and I am very close to her, visiting her weekly. I tend to look at the big picture in life, even when I am dealing with difficult people or even family members. We, each, have traveled a particular road in life and are where we are due in large part to that road. In my leisure time, I like to watch a good movie that reflects on some of the "life journey" issues, and that have good character development, not just "special effects". As an artist, I like special effects, and panoramic scenery, but a person's life story is always of great interest. I hope that in my last days I will look back on my life and have no regrets, having relied on God to sustain a life "worthy of the One who called me".
