I love people, understand them, care them. I am Vietnamese, not Japanese or Chinese. There is a big community of Vietnamese in California because in 1975 when the South Vietnam government left Vietnam run to America after they were beaten up by the North government, many staffs who worked for America were picked up by air plane, many other staffs and other citizens took the boat with more than 50% risk of dead included being robbed by pirates, sexual abuse especially women, being thrown to the sea, being hungry and thirsty on the salt water ocean and there were of a lot people died from the war and died from escaping. People who did not left Vietnam during that time and worked for the South were put into the prison for many years. Many family were separated due to the war. Most of people in the South, some in the North but worked for the South also run to America in 1975 on boats like Mayflower boats to have freedom, jobs and not being hungry. Most of Vietnamese do nails especially elder, international students, and old people with language barrier. They try not be to homeless or do prostitution to pay rent, take care their kids, old parents, school tuitions. I know many Vietnamese girls who are nail, facial, wax, eyelash extension salon owner can make 100 thousand dollars per year, they married White guys, Black guys, Spanish guys. My friend, she owns a salon, and and she opened a beauty academy school to help elder or non-English speaker, students get jobs anytime they want, she married a White blond hair guy, they are always in love and have a child as well. He looks young, cool around his 20's and she looks petite, does not have enough electricity or water body parts ( not have a big ass or a coconut size chest) but they are always in love. Vietnamese people are not the same, everyone is different, someone just care money only, but there are many people who have a good will, mind and heart. Many Vietnamese are doctors, engineers, all my cousins here graduated from college, one has master in finance, one has pHD in computer science, one is electrical engineer. They made a decent living.

Hi my name is Jake! I'm a son of God, disciple of Jesus, and proud member of JK Rowlings Griffyndor house. Every day is an adventure and I'm hoping to find someone to adventure my way to heaven with. I think the purpose of every day is to know, love, and serve God. It's always fun to try to think of ways to invite God into my daily life as a lay person. I'm definitely looking for someone else who wants God to be part of their daily life, not just their Sundays. After being received into the church in Easter 2015 I fasted from dating until now because I wanted to focus on developing a relationship with God and learning to participate in the Church. I currently participate in multiple Young Adult Groups and volunteer as a CCD teacher. I'm on Catholicmatch because a close friend encouraged me to start dating again. When it comes to my ideal match, appearance matters but it's not everything. The quickest way to my heart is to be gentle, kind, faithful, encouraging, and to be dependent on God. Having a sense of humor, or at least tolerating mine is also helpful. (I was a class clown starting as early as Kinddrgarten) Marriage is very important to me. It's a vocation between two people for the greater glory of God. Let's say we both get married and the day after the wedding you slip in the shower and get paralyzed for life. We can't go on dates as easily, are stuck living on one income, and aren't able to have sex within marriage anymore. It would still be important to me to stay faithful and walk with you to heaven til death do us part. For your sake, I hope that all doesn't actually happen! But if it does I'll be there. Marriage isn't an act of the heart, it's an act of the will. Our romanticized pop culture has distracted us from that truth. I'm looking for someone else who understands that love is an action, not a feeling and is committed to choosing love even when it feels kind of tough. If you also see marriage as a lifelong journey to heaven and are trying to meet someone to embark with hopefully we can get to know each other here.
