I also like to attend the feasts in the North End in the summertime for the best Calamari.

I am kind of shy at first, but I do well one-on-one. I love old houses, old cars, and music. I also love going on day-trips, camping, canoeing/kayaking, the ocean, walking along the beach, and sight-seeing. I go to NYC every year, and try to make it to visit my brother in Los Angeles at least once a year, too. I live with roommates in Waltham and I work a lot, so my schedule is pretty busy, but I love meeting new people and spending time with friends and family on the weekends. I try to live up to the Lord's expectations with all I do. I pray every night and talk to Him throughout the day. I'm always there for people who need me, no matter how busy I am. If someone needs help moving or a friendly voice on the other side of the phone to listen or give them advice, I am always there for them.

I currently teach CCD to third graders, not only do I look forward to it every Sunday, but it is a joy to be able to children about the Lord. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Ministry at the Theological Institute of New Evangelization. My goal once finishing the degree is to pursue Faith Formation within the Church. I love being outside and going for walks and day trips (like Salem, Newburyport and Western Mass.) But, at the same time I enjoy going to cultural events, such as plays, concerts and museums. The type of movies that I like are ecletic: "Rear Window", "North by Northwest." But I also like more current movies, "The Holiday", "The King's Speech", "Ocean Eleven"," Bridget Jones Diary" and "The Silence of the Lambs" to name a few. I tend to read historical novels and mysteries but currently I am reading more books regarding my faith by including such authors as G.K. Chesterton. I also love dancing, I used to always have the opportunity and time for swing dancing but I haven't done it in awhile, I would like to get back into it though. I love spending time with my family, especially my nephew and godson (they are so much fun). I enjoy genealogy and have researched my family tree back six generations, it is interesting learning about my ancestors. I have also begun acting as a hobby. My first play was completed in May of 2011; "Private Lives", by Noel Coward. My role was the maid and I had to speak French, (I don't know French) but I really enjoyed doing it. I also had the opportunity to participate as an Assistant Statge Manager in the play "Agatha Christie Made Me Do It" (It had nothing to do with Agatha Christie). But I manage to be successful as part of the crew and it was a lot of fun! I am also a big Red Sox fan.

Who says engineers are just aloof, antisocial, number-crunchers? Well...maybe some are, but I'm one who breaks the mold. Hi, I'm Brien, and I am a Structural Engineer, so I can't deny that I am an unabashed math/science dork. However, I also love the feeling of finishing a tough workout in the gym, or discovering a new restaurant in town, and I love having the music of my favorite bands fill my ears - especially if I'm not just listening to it, but playing it! After the first time I got to pound on a drum set, I knew I had found my true musical passion! I love laughing with friends at stories that never get old, I like turning a drive in the car into an exploration of new places, I have a penchant for nice sunglasses, and nothing beats sleeping in on weekends and enjoying the occasional day with "nothing" to do. Think we might get along? Send me a message...

I took the plunge and am now a full fledged member of Catholic Match, with email capabilities and all! I started an account on another date site but, although there are more people on that one, I think I have a better chance of finding what I am looking for on this site. Quality over quantity, I guess. Anyways, here's a little bit about me: I find that board games are the perfect solution for when I am bored. Its getting all of my friends together to play that makes me want to flip over the table. I am a thespian of sorts and, by the nature of theater, I fall into the type of "people who need people." However, I am by no means a fan of the drama in the drama department. All of the virtues I admire, I consider Prudence to be the most prudent choice. Although lightheartedness also weighs heavily in my opinion. I find villains to be much more interesting than heroes. They get to have all of the fun! I prefer to save rather than to splurge. If I was the kid with the marshmallow I could definitely hold out for that second marshmallow. But that's my two cents. Conservative in thought and in temperament, I tend to be firmly anchored while the sea rages around me. My convictions are roots that run deep. I like my humor like I like my wine: dry. Family is predetermined but friends you can choose. One is the crazy you love and are stuck with, the other is the crazy you love and you stick with. Finally, love is indeed a battlefield. And it is worth fighting for.

If I had to put it concisely I'd say I'm a nice guy with old-fashioned values, but I still live in the modern world and like to go out and have a good time. I like to sing along to the radio while driving (if you've ever been stuck at a red light and saw some guy in a black suv looking like he's trying to record an album behind the wheel, maybe you've seen me!). I also keep a book handy for when I have some quiet time (I broke my Kindle, don't apply any pressure to the screen, they crack so easy!). I drink iced coffee all year round. The cashier at the Dunkin's near my house said I'm always smiling. It might be because I'm generally in a pretty good mood, or maybe just because I'm about to get my caffeine fix. Probably both.

Hi, I work as a compensation consultant. My faith and family are of the utmost importance to me. In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports. I have recently really got interested in skiing and have always enjoyed playing basketball. I'm a pretty laid back person but also like trying new experiences. My favorite saint is St. Maximilian Kolbe for his courage and devotion to the faith. I would love to meet a match who has a strong love for God and someone who I can continue to grow in my faith with.

I love to read poetry and good literature. I love to cook wholesome food. I like to sing and dance to smooth music. How to find my soulmate and friend. Hoping he enjoys a lot of the things I do, but it's o.k. If he wants to do his own thing as long as I can experience his world.

Hello, I see myself as a little bit quiet at first around new people, but it doesn't last long once I am more comfortable. Enjoy being creative( I used to make cars as a kid out of cardboard boxes and write all sorts of stories). Thus that translate into involving myself in creative endeavor's such as writing stories, doing illustrations (drawing) on the computer, drawing with pencils etc. Always enjoy hanging out and staying active with my friends meanwhile whether its just hanging out at their house or going out for pizza. I play street hockey with them in my spare time as well, its one of my favorite sports! Tennis is fun too, does Ping Pong count as a sport? :) Besides that enjoy going on walks and lifting weights a few times a week, its fun and relaxing. In the process of earning my Bachelors of Science in History at Liberty University and desire to become a high school history teacher someday, History means very much to me. This is probably one of my goals I am most devoted to achieving, although I have several others. In the meantime I work as an After-School teacher at a parochial school, its a very enjoyable and fulfilling job. Excited about meeting the right woman here if God is willing hopefully!
