I'm not the typical guy you're gonna meet... I'm can be a bit reserved but when I warm up... I have a good sense of humor and can have a good time. I just want someone with the same spiritual beliefs and faith to be a part of my life. I want someone who is hard-working, caring, ambitious and can appreciate my dry sense of humor. I like trying new things and adventures, sports, music, concerts. I strive to continue learning and be challenged and hope to find someone who is supportive and will grow with me in becoming a better person. My parents have been most influential in my life. Growing up as an only child, I looked to them most for spiritual guidance. Having been married for 30+ years, my parents continually remind me of the importance of commitment and finding your best friend. In any relationship, I believe finding your best friend is most important.

Family and faith are number one to me! I am hard working and can be serious at times, but I am also super goofy. Being active is really important to me, whether it is getting outside and running or just going to the gym. I love to laugh and make people smile.

Hi, I'm a single dad that has been here before. I'm really just looking for friendship, love, and a mutual understanding of what being a practising Catholic is. I have three children, a son, 25, two girls, ages 11 and 9. The girls live with me. I appreciate a good sense of humor because I'm pretty sharp witted myself! I like to try to learn something new everyday. I'm very easygoing, understanding, and know where all good comes from. I'm not a materialistic sort, I feel the greatest treasures are in God's creations. My hope is to find someone to be a friend, a confidant, a partner, someone who will enrich my life both in everyday things, and spiritually. It's also very important to see people for who they are, not for what they are. I'm an extremely honest person, and I live my life honestly. I would like to meet someone who values it themselves. It is important to speak truthfully and sincerely in a relationship, letting things to fester and get pent up isn't good for mutual respect.

Hello. I'm Laurinda and I work full-time with children who have been diagnosed with Autism. The hobbie I am most passionate about is volunteering, but I also love sculpting, painting, and mixed media arts. I have a cat named Phoenix who I am training to be a therapy cat. He is quirky but extremely lovable. And just like me, he likes adventures and trying new things (along with the occasional bout of mischief). God is my son and my life orbits around Him, but the distance always seems to be in flux. Sometimes we feel really close and sometimes we feel a bit more distant. But He is always there and though I may wander a little, I never go too far. I love God. I love kids. I love helping others. I want to be a foster Mom one day but also try extremely hard to be open to whatever path God has chosen for me.

I should say first that I am looking for friendship and casual dating, not a serious romantic relationship, for reasons I'd be happy to share if we meet. A fun date for me might be a baseball or hockey game, dinner or drinks, a movie, live music, a museum, a nature walk, or socializing with a group. I am a single mother of one adult soon who no longer lives with me. If you have children, I wouldn't mind doing some things with them. I tend to get along very well with other people's kids, perhaps because my motto is that I see no good reason to act my age. ;) Others have described me as open, smart, friendly, confident, funny, assertive, and energetic. One friend, a mental health clinician, says I'm baseline hypomanic (?!?l. More than one person has said then when they first met me, they were a bit intimidated by me. I'm not sure why that is, but it makes me sad and I don't know what to do about it. Hobbies I enjoy when I'm alone include reading, knitting and needlework, watching TV, and doing small home fix-it projects. Politically, I would call myself a libertarian with a small "L." I like discussing politics, but you're unlikely to convince me that either 1) I should be happy about Trump's victory, or 2) it would have been better if Clinton had won instead!

I'm a throwback to feminism, as in; I believe that women and men were made to bring their equally important gender roles to the table. My heroines are Scarlett O'Hara, Catherine of Aragon, and Jo March. Joanna Gaines is my spirit animal. The things I most treasure are my family, my books and my music most. I currently work in Boston after being promoted, and despite being terrible in math, somehow managed to land a business analyst position in the actuarial department. Go Figure. It is wonderful for now, but I don't plan on settling down in Boston. My favorite thing in the world is road trips. I love Boston for its history, New York for its pace and Connecticut for its nostalgia, as I spent my whole childhood there. The South has always felt like home. On weekends, I'm wandering the East Coast in search of farmers markets, museums, used books and vinyl records (although I don't own a record player yet). The other portion is spent diving though my extensive cookbook collection for new recipes to try. I love country music, so summer nights are intermingled with live concerts. Both my grandfathers were farmers and it definitely was passed down. I have hundreds of used farm books that I have yet to put into action. I get equally excited about going to a Nordstrom sale as I do Tractor Supply. I have grand and extensive dreams of some serious acreage and a return to simpler, more authentic time in America. I have an obsession with peaches and a blueberry/lemon combination. I hate coconut anything. I was born, and will die, a cat person. Dogs are very nice, but they don't purr or head butt. I'm an advocate for small government, and less regulation. The government should protect me from others, not me from me. I tend to be a mixture of conservative and libertarian leaning views. I speak sarcasm fluently and although I'm only Irish and English, somehow managed to get the Italian loyalty gene. I don't think anything matters, so long as one's soul is understood and loved by another.
