I'm a mother of 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren - mostly all out of state. Work as a part-time health care worker thru an agency. Love music from classical to good rock and blues, live theater, reading, watching TV, walking/moderate hiking in Myles Standish Forest, movies/independent films, discussing politics (interested in other peoples' opinions). I eat mostly healthy, recycle, care about a sustainable environment, learning/experiencing new things. I've begun an on-line course of Brazilian Portuguese because my community has an influx of them and I get to practice speech at various places they work! I visit other people's dogs, cats. FYI: I haven't completed the annulment process (divorced for 30 yrs.) but would be easily accepted by the tribunal if I wanted to marry again. Passions that change my overall being: attending live Plymouth classical concerts, walking downtown or in the forest, watching great old movies on TCM, conversing about subjects I know little about in order to learn something new, laughing and feeling happy!

I love being with other people and joking around with my witty and lame sense of humor. I quote the Office, Arrested Development and similar shows regularly. I love spontaneous adventures and rarely plan anything out. I like to go with the flow and am easy to get along with. I enjoy the business world but I also have a creative side. I play the piano and sing a little in my spare time. I love learning new things especially history, theology and politics. I loved being a student at Saint Michael's College. I studied philosophy and I am really glad I did (despite some initial hesitation). One of the best experiences I've had was visiting Poland for 3 weeks to study John Paul II's encyclicals. I am a person of faith, trusting that God will guide me to find my match. I am originally from Brazil, living here for many years. Divorced, but also free to marry in the church since I had not been previously married in the catholic church. I believe life would be more enjoyable if shared with a good caring catholic man. I would like to live every moment with someone kind and positive like I try to be. I love a good walking, music, movies, books, a cup of coffee, good food, family, friendship, and a good laugh.

This month I went to Wellfleet several weekends. i enjoyed visiting friends on their boat. The ocean is so vast. I love the salt air and the warm sand. These wonderful summer days are precious. My mother's influence has been more apparent since her death. She has left big shoes to fill. I'm reorganizing at home and cooking meals to share with my father.

I was widowed a little over a year ago. I am hoping to meet someone special to hang out with, laugh with, enjoy nature, and share a common faith in God. I love animals, music, drives in the country, the mountains, ocean and everything New England has to offer. I have a full time job in Boston but need some quality down time with a good guy.

Some of my favorite memories growing up were the adventures shared with my three younger brothers; getting lost in the great outdoors, skydiving on my brother's birthday, and training for (and completing!) our first marathon together! These days I'm passionate about inspiring undergraduate students to live life to the full through their faith, through mission trips abroad and Bible studies. I am always up for salsa dancing with friends, exploring new places, great conversations around a bonfire and soaking in the beauty of creation.

Cantabrigian joyfully getting her "Catholic on" seeks curious caring gentleman to do the same! I am a "cradle Catholic" and have recently invested time to learn/feel the faith a little better. It's been a fun journey. I love travel, friends, and family and have been so blessed in this Year of Mercy to fill it with all of these. Have you entered any of the Doors of Mercy this year? I've been to eight! Let me tell you how (it involved some fabulous travel). I like to read and dabble in lots of things: photography, "running", cooking, cheering on the sports teams (mostly local...), enjoying a glass of wine with friends, and sharing a good laugh. To be honest, I probably am a better listener than story teller, but don't mistake "quiet" for "shallow".
